The location was amazing in the centre of everything l! Staff was so accommodating let us check in early in a lovely spacious modern room! Had the best time every in Galway and staying here really soaked up Galway city life. Food was delicious got extra in the morning for breakfast! I would come back here again!

This didn’t bother me as I was enjoying listening to the music or out in it! The rooms are extremely close to the bar and you can hear everything. There is also a nightclub next door that you can also hear music from until like 3 in the morning so wouldn’t recommend if your a bad sleeper! The do provide earplugs but I personally didn’t find them helpful!

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Niall looked after us and was very friendly and ensured our stay was comfortable and ensured our luggage was safe when we checked out and stayed longer in Galway. The room was big and had everything we needed. The domestic staff ensured our room was cleaned daily and we had everything we needed. Thank you for the prosecco for my partners birthday and the front facing room we requested. Location was excellent for the shops, restaurants and bars.

Just our preference that we would have preferred a room with neutral colours if that was possible. Purple and deep pink just made the room a bit dark and a fridge would be an added bonus. It was RAG week, which we were informed about prior to our stay. We would have used the hotel bar more of a night if it hadn't been. It would also be good if breakfast was included in the price on Booking.com.

The location is excellent, near transit and centrally located by Eyre Square. Provides easy walking access to Latin Quarter, Spanish Arch, Shop Street. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Skeff pub/restaurant can get very busy but is such a fun Irish pub experience just steps from your hotel room. We were there on Halloween with a large parade/festival that may have made it more crowded than normal. Either way, a wonderful spot!

Can be a bit loud from the pub, however we were on the floor directly above and they provided us with earplugs. Really more of a dull noise even without the plugs.

This hotel was very close to everything Galway had to offer in the city. Very walkable. The hotel room bed was comfortable with extra pillows and a safe and the best air conditioning! The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

So very noisy! The bar is very busy at night until at least 2:00 am. I had air conditioning running and earplugs and could still hear the music and vibration. Couldn't say it was a restful night. The parking is a bit removed but we knew that when we booked. Not very convenient pulling suitcases a few blocks through the roads so be aware but we did get a reduced voucher for parking.

The Skeffington is a fantastic hotel for it's location in the centre of Galway City at Eyre Square. The pub attached was beautiful, the staff were great in both the hotel and pub/restaurant.

A detailed description of where the parking lot is located would be beneficial to guests who do not know the area. A map of how to drive to the parking lot would assist. The drivers in our group drove around in circles a due to the one ways streets and drove past the parking lot, not knowing it was the correct parking. Once parked, they got turned around and did not know how to get back to the hotel even though it was close by.

The room included all the basics, plus free cartons of water. I didn't use the TV but saw the remote had streaming app buttons. There was good storage space, plenty of sockets, and even ear plugs provided. I was told I might hear the live music downstairs from my room but actually didn't. The shower was powerful enough for long hair. All the staff I encountered were friendly & helpful. It was a very welcoming hotel.

Everything was great. One thing I'd love all hotels to include is a large lightweight towel for using as a hair wrap. Balancing a thick bath towel on my head isn't easy & a small hand towel isn't near big enough to hold my hair. It doesn't need to be a towel especially made for hair wrapping. Being able to easily wrap up a few feet of hair after a shower would be a bonus.

Fantastic location, walking distance to all of the famous pubs and river. The city has a young vibe to it. Lots of young people are in love and enjoying Galway. It's a very romantic city, and we also fell in love with its character and vibe. The pubs were the best; Quays and Kings Head did not disappoint. The room was clean, large, and very comfortable.

I knew what to expect, noise. The hotel sits above a multi-story pub/club. Which by the way is AMAZING. However, our room was also next to the elevator and service entrance so we had even more noise at night and in the morning. However, we stayed out late...1am and we were a wee bit tipsy so it didn't bother us. But it will bother some who like to get to bed early so I thought I would share this. However, if you are coming to Galway to get consumed by it then you most likely be out late and it wont bother you either. We cant wait to go back!

The hotel is centrally located across the street from the train station and the major shopping center. The hotel is also right around the corner from Shop Street and the Latin Quarter - FABULOUS!!! The room was modern and large. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was GREAT!! Breakfast was not our most favorite thing about the hotel and I would say that you could go off site to grab a muffin & coffee. The hotel architecture is lovely. The Skeff Bar is magnificent. There are something like 6 bars to choose from. GREAT music every night. Wait staff were lovely. The reception staff helped us out with Ireland Rail schedules and tour buses. We were also able to get a late check out. We would definitely stay again and recommend to our family & friends.

The location was excellent! We only had an afternoon and one full day so it was great for what we wanted to do. The hotel had so much character! The staff were friendly and helpful. We already decided if we were to return to Galway we would definitely stay there again. The breakfasts were yummy and alot of food!

The shower doors were a little moldy towards the bottom. We had one waiter that kept on forgetting about us but the other staff kind of stepped in and helped us.

Great central location, on the central Eyre Square and pedestrian mall. Parking available at nearby Q Park. Wonderful, welcoming staff. Spacious room with very comfortable bed. Modern bathroom with nice amenities. Despite location, quiet, though we were cautioned that nearby live music can often be heard. We had no issue.

Breakfast: though there were a range of options, we were disappointed that the cereals were highly processed sugary cereals like Coco puffs, etc. Should offer granola and/or muesli. That said, service was excellent and we appreciated the fresh baked goods.
