The rooms were tastefully decorated, the hotel had a nice warm feel not too big. Housekeeping staff very helpful with directions and parking recommendations in city. I received a telephone call before departing, to clarify any special requirements for my visit, this was very reassuring as I had booked on line, spoke to a very friendly and efficient and helpful member if staff ( johanna??) My special request was accommodated. The personal contact before my visit was nice.

Suggestion anther hand rail on the access to dining room for guests with mobility issues.

I came late to check in as I was in a even for Irish cancer Association,I was recked but it was a wedding at the Hotel and everyone was busy. The bed was out of 10 and breakfast and attention from the manager and receptionist in the morning outstanding, one of thr best Spinach and Cheese omelette in the region, prepared with passion, I will back again,Thank you.

I parked far away from entrance and couldn't see the steps to short cut, so I have to walk all the way down the road with trolley.Room was perfect , but as a suggestion i will provide the soup for women in the executives rooms, the soap was a male odour.

The hotel is very large and very well equipped. The spaces are large and cosy, both private and communal for guests. The breakfast and dinner room is very nice. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful and it was very pleasant to have breakfast with Schubert's music playing in the background. The rooms are large and very clean, the bathroom too. The staff is sometimes very friendly, sometimes less so. When we arrived the receptionist was rather rude, bordering on unfriendly. We asked about dinner and she did not tell us that we needed to make a reservation, so when we went down to dinner there was no room and we had to wait. Fortunately the restaurant manager found us a table and was very helpful. There is plenty of space to park and also to charge electric vehicles.

There should be more signposting: the hotel is very large and sometimes it is difficult to find your room. Some members of the staff should be more polite and helpful.

Arriving very tired after long driving in terrible weather I found the bath absolutely wonderful! At last a bath with proper old fashioned taps and no messing about trying to separate running the bath from running the shower!!! The room was lovely and quiet despite the fact that the hotel was hosting a 200 person wedding that night. The restaurant staff were lovely, despite the hotel being so busy: they insisted on giving us extras when they thought they had overcooked a dish causing us to wait whilst it was redone: many thanks for the care taken!

I suggest that you should stock local GINs at the bar, such as 'Garnish Island'. The choice of gins was ordinary, boring, and not likely to entice foreign visitors to take an interest in supporting any of our West Cork specialist gin makers. You could add a choice 'Fevertree' tonics as well.

Loved everything about this property. It’s so nice to stay somewhere that has such individual charm as this hotel has. The hotel has character which most places that have been newly built lack considerably. The bedroom was gorgeous and the bed was super comfortable. Nice and close to Cork city too while being in a beautiful location. This hotel is also has some of the most welcoming and accommodating staff I’ve met. Ioana at reception was so helpful and kind, and the manager Gerard went out of his way for us. We were down for a concert and were struggling to get a taxi and he so kindly dropped us in to the city centre. Thank you so much for everything we will certainly be back!

There is nothing not to like about this hotel.

Dinner in evening was lovely . Room was excellent with beautiful furniture and fixtures and the blue lighting affect in the bathroom was very pretty. Beds were comfortable and the ted coffee facilitiess were well stocked. Plenty of bottled sparkling water in the room.

was looking for hand lotion or cream in the bathroom at reception floor but had none. Restaurant was a little chilly inside in the evening. Noisy musiic playing from a delivery van at 7am in the morning which was unnecessary and thoughtless of the driver but not the hotels fault.

I loved the little attention to details when they decorated the hotel. From the wallpaper, to the chandeliers. The whole building was very charming, and it felt like entering a whole other world! I especially loved the location because it was far away from the city but close enough so it was not a hassle to get to and from.

I didn't like the entrance to get to the hotel. Getting off the road, driving 80 km/h, to making the sharpest turn ever uphill was a terrifying experience. We had to back out back onto the speeding road in order to make the turn.

room, breakfast etc was great, facilities were very good.

using the title "cork's" vienna woods should not be allowed in this case, since the hotel is out in the mulga, i e very distant to cork. for a business trip ideal, but for a tourist it's too far from everything of interest and looks like it's in a distant suburb of cork. lift broke 1 hr before we arrived and 31 steps with heavy bags in a remotish corner was a little unhelpful. there were roadworks at street in front so access average. but distance to viewable tourist goodies was poor.

LOVED the breakfast. The room was lovely but need a bit more air circulation

The difficulty of trying to reach anyone at the front desk. The difficultly of dialing out for delivery. Bar cook had left for the evening when we arrived and after being on the road for hours needed some food. This was difficult and on top of it the pizza delivery wanted to be paid in all cash. This should have been handled for us and we should have clearly been made aware of cash only. We are from out of country and barely had enough cash left to pay him.
