We stayed over on our way from Cork to Dublin. The house is situated in a quiet location with a small stream nearby. There are convenient parking spots and a nearby playground for kids. There's even a tennis court just next door. The host is ultra-friendly and nice and the place is quiet. If you're looking for a place to eat nearby, you should try out Katie Daly's Bar & Restaurant in Gorey. A lovely pub-restaurant.

The room was a little small and we had problems negotiating the place with our suitcase. Eating out means driving to nearby Gorey (a 10-minute drive).

This is our favourite place to stay over when attending events around the area. It's a home away from home. David and Laura are always so friendly and welcoming and look after us so well. Lovely comfortable bedrooms, sound sleep and lovely garden views when we awake. Breakfast is always second to none.Plenty of variety and lovingly cooked and presented...Delicious! Will be back again soon and look forward to our next stay !

Loved everything about the place!

I was made welcome the moment I arrived and throughout my stay. They were so easy to talk to! I had just arrived in Ireland and due to an incident at my previous accomodation which led to a police report - I couldn’t make it to this accomodation on the day I was meant to. They were understanding and didn’t charge me for it even with the late notice. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that gesture. Beds were so comfy was hard to get out of it! I would absolutely stay again.

Our stay was wonderful. We had a really good time and the location was perfect for visiting our friends. The breakfast was amazing and the owners are lovely people and very friendly. We will definitely use again when we come back to visit. Checking in and out was very flexible and easy. I’d highly recommend this B&B if you’re thinking of visiting this particular area.

I honestly couldn’t fault our stay, it was exactly what we needed.

The room had a great amount of space which we found very comfortable and plenty of pillows. The view outside onto the garden was lovely and quiet all around. The location was only 15 mins from our friends house which made it convenient for them to come pick us up. The breakfast was great, all the ingredients tasted high quality and looked amazing. There was also additional bread and jams that came with whatever option you chose as well (Which tasted lovely). The owners were very kind and friendly, they explained how everything worked and the nearest shop etc. they made us feel welcome and we’d stay here again the next time we visit our friends. I hope we were good guests too! :)

Honestly this stay suited our needs down to the ground I don’t think there’s anything we could fault.

Beautiful old home on estate like grounds. Our hosts went over the top to make us feel welcome. Helping us after our GPS lost it's mind, hauling our suitcases up the stairs and providing many breakfast options.

For us it was a bit off the main path, and probably would stay closer to town next time.

The breakfast was excellent and the coffee was fantastic. The owners were very friendly and even left a little gift in our room as it was our anniversary. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was lovely.

There was very little to find fault with and we enjoyed our stay immensely. If I were to be very picky, the décor was very dated but we could see that an effort was being made to update the look. The only thing I didn't like was the black and white color palette of the bedrooms as they felt a little cold and a soft cream or magnolia might be a little less clinical but just as cheap and easy to keep clean.

Laura and David are quality hosts and quality Irish people. I treat them just the way I like to be treated honoring all appointments and commitments. The property is real nice. Lovely and relaxing countryside venue.

A small note, the TVs in the rooms could be a tad bigger. I was under weather so I was just laying around a bit. This location cries out to go out and explore as there many things to do within 100 mile radius. Beach, Mountains, Castles, Historical Monuments, etc...

Breakfast was good they know how to do poached eggs well. A sign that is what I always look for. Little touches like fresh water available at night Very attentive to any questions asked.

The room was clean, the breakfast was good (near the birds in the garden!) We weren't able to have a full Irish but our host was in a very unusual situation and despite this, they were here for us. We were able to park the car easily.

There was not much space in the bathroom. The room was damp first, but you can open the window so it was ok after.
