It's probably the best B&B we've ever stayed in, lovely clean and comfortable room. Nice spacious bathroom. The staff were great, the breakfast was very nice. There is ample free parking in the square. The location is excellent for bars and restaurants and perfect for exploring Kerry. Such a beautiful part of the World.

The only issue was the lack of somewhere to hang our clothes. The rooms are spacious and yet there wasn't a wardrobe or clothes rack to hang our clothing. In the scheme of things this is a minor gripe, but it would definitely be worthwhile investing in some appropriate furniture. We just stacked our stuff on the chairs which made the room look untidy.

Highly recommend this family run business, Lucy is a fantastic host. The location is ideal, as it is right in the square of Kenmare, close enough to all the local bars and restaurants but off a street allowing for a quiet nights sleep. Everything is within walking distance. Facilities are great, newly refurbished rooms with cute little antique touches that give character and a real homely feel. The breakfast was top class, meat was supplied from the family butcher's underneath, one of the nicest rasher of bacon and pudding I have had in a long time. Well worth it for the hospitality and breakfast alone, nevermind the location and cleanliness.

Absolutely nothing.

We would not hesitate in recommending this wonderful townhouse. The best, most relaxing stay we have had anywhere. Situated so well and only a couple of mins walk from all the shops, restaurants and nightlife that you could want. Lucy is a great host, chatty, relaxed and a great cook. The breakfast was without doubt the best we have ever had. Special mention goes to the sausages, which Lucy's dad Roje hand makes in his butcher shop next door. There was plenty of choice with homemade scones and banana bread and lots of cereals, fruit salad, yoghurts, jams/chutneys also. Our room was so nice, the bed was super comfie and no noise from outside.

Having to leave..Thank you Lucy for a lovely stay in your fabulous house.

We stayed at Bridge Street Townhouse for just one night and enjoyed every minute. We arrived near dusk and were greeted by Lucy, the host. Given the late hour, she quickly provided Kenmare restaurant recommendations, in particular ones where we might find live local music (which we did!). She also pointed out some homemade fruit crisp and cakes in the breakfast that were available for an evening dessert (complete with fresh whipped cream in the frig) – so yummy! In the morning Lucy provided a menu of hot breakfast selections which she prepared herself. This was in addition to the all-you-can-eat homemade scones, cakes, breads, yogurt, coffee, and tea. The food was wonderful! Inside, our room was very spacious and clean, up-to-date, and contained everything we needed. We could quickly tell Lucy has a passion for her business and works hard to maintain a high rating status. The guesthouse is located on the edge of town and was a few minutes’ walk to the restaurants. We highly recommend Bridge Street Townhouse as your base of operations for experiencing the Kenmare and Kerry portions of Ireland.

Everything was Great!

Very upbeat vibrant friendly lady by the name of Lucy but was upset initially when I checked in albeit too early ok fair do, I checked in when I said I woul, no life, Then again at round 5pm. i shouted hello. 15 to 20 minutes before there was life...and I was let in. Bad start......to a great stay generally. Bed roon great breakfast top notch

Check in as I mentioned above. POOR. BAD start and 1st impression, Why no bath? Shower was great and room good etc but a bath d been nicer particularly given the price I pay. Confusion that I personally take up with Lucy about the paying too I have.

Excellent location and the staff are amazing. We were made feel welcome from the minute we arrived until we checked out. The place is so well kept and rooms are lovely. The breakfast choice is amazing and the food quality is incredible. Probably the best breakfast menú and quality of food I have ever gotten while staying anywhere.. highly recommended..

Just a personal thing, although tea and coffee is available from the dining room it would be nice to have the facility in your room to make it. Nice yo wake up with a cuppa.

We booked this room last minute as we were travelling the wild Atlantic way with no plans and just came across Kenmare. Check in was so quick and easy and the location is perfect for this town. Lucy (the owner) was amazing, couldn’t do enough for us. We explained we had no plans and Lucy told us and wrote down all the hidden gems for us to visit over the next couple of days, with so many different options. The room was so lovely and breakfast was insanely good!! So much choice for breakfast and so much thought has gone in to this b&b, you can tell Lucy is so passionate about her work. Can’t thank Lucy enough, our trip ended up being better than we ever expected with all her help! Would 100% revisit here!

Absolutely nothing, everything was great!

This is a beautiful property right in the centre of town. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean and a delicious breakfast is served in the morning. The hosts Helen and Lucy are excellent hosts and go that bit further to make your stay with them one to remember. They’re both so friendly, you’ll feel like you’ve known them a lifetime. Have stayed here many times in the past and would give this accommodation top marks without any hesitation.

Absolutely nothing! There was simply nothing to fault😊

Easy to find, accessible on street parking, walking distance into shops & places to eat. Large room, spacious bathroom, all well equipped. Best breakfast all holiday & lots of unique goodies on offer. Host was helpful & chatty - could have easily gone out drinking together if we’d stayed another night!

Visitors need to be aware of the street noise if staying, but at the height of summer we had all the windows open so it might be quieter mid-week or with windows closed.

A very warm welcome on our arrival from Lucy the owner who always had time for a chat. Situated in the town centre it is close to the shops, restaurants and bars and it is a good base for touring the local area. Our room was spacious and warm and our bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous with the American Style Pancakes and Eggs Benedict the best we ever had. We had a lovely time in Kenmare despite the bad weather and we look forward to returning an we will definitely stay with Lucy again.
