Unfortunately missed breakfast as slept in. The very friendly receptionist offered us coffee/bottled water as we were checking out which we really appreciated. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and again the receptionist booked us a table by the tv in the bar to watch a match. The staff in general were welcoming and friendly and there was a very relaxed atmosphere on the premises. I very much appreciated the additional parking time on site.

There was nothing to dislike but perhaps extending breakfast serving time on bank hol weekends might be a possibility.

We stayed at Springfort for a family wedding, Paul and all the staff couldn't do enough for us, Bridget at reception who made sure we were all happy with our rooms and baby monitors were all doing what they were supposed to, Michelle at the wedding reception worked tirelessly in the background so the meal and dancing went brilliantly and Justyna at breakfast the morning after was so kind to all of us, adults and tired children. All of the staff, from the front door to night porters and late night bar staff we thank ye all so much for helping make Eileen and Barry's wedding day one to remember, Paul should be so proud of all his staff and Springfort Hall is an amazing wedding venue. The ballroom looked amazing when we entered and the attention to detail was fantastic. Thank ye all again ♥️

Fantastic grounds. Great food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very prompt service for breakfast and dinner in the bar. Lovely room. Lots of hot water and a bath if you wanted it. I loved it and would be back in a heartbeat. I am a middle aged woman travelling alone for work and this place was ideal.

Very little to complain about, but two things to be aware of: Sockets are old fashioned round 3 pin. I always travel with a multi socket surge protector bracket and I needed it here. The only modern socket was about 9 feet from the bed so an extension is advisable. It's a fair compromise for such a beautiful old place! Second issue waz that the strip light over the sink didn't work. I looked amazing but I think that's because I couldn't see myself properly for applying makeup etc😎

Staff were amazing. Friendly, attentive, helpful & always at hand to answer questions. I loved the ambiance of the old house. The location is fabulous.

The bar feels a bit dated. Food is unimaginative & average. We ordered glasses of wine (Spanish) that was not the house wine & it was not drinkable but in all fairness we not charged for it.

This was a return visit, my son was going to a junior Hunt Ball, which the hotel cater beautifully. We wanted to stay again this year as it was so enjoyable last year. The dinner, and breakfast are really nice, and the staff are so friendly. It is a very relaxing, comfortable venue.

everything was fantastic. from the room to facilities. the room was immaculate. clean towels etc every day. staff were amazing. nothing was too much trouble. one member of staff I’d like to thank was Theresa at reception. nothing was a bother to her. she was outstanding. super friendly/courteous and friendly. amazing staff all round.

Good evening meal with bar food. Good breakfast choice. Comfortable bedroom and clean bathroom.

A flashing light from ceiling smoke or other alarm which kept us awake. Notified Receptionist next morning who was most apologetic and professed that she was unaware of this but would get it fixed.

We were sorry we did not eat breakfast at the hotel . Had a disappointing overpriced breakfast at Doneraille park. Room was large and comfortable

Had rrouble getting kettle to work but evenrually sorted it. Was going to ring reception but phone was not plugged in and did not find appropriate socket. Some smalk iem eg hairclip found on carpet next to bed Roon was a little dark as well.

This is a very nice country hotel, the room was good and clean. Breakfast was very good and was a served breakfast rather then a Buffet which was a bonus.

The hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere, depending on what you are looking for this could be a point. the hotel had a lot of contractors staying from the local roadworks so probably not good for a romantic weekend away!

Paul Walsh was an amazing host. Despite the hotel being located far from the town centre, he made my stay more comfortable. The property would be ideal if one wants a relaxed stay with family provided one has a car. Thanks.

Access to public transport was difficult. This was my first visit to Mallow. I came by train from Dublin around 9 pm; taxis were not available at that time. I felt the staff at the reception could have been more proactive when I called the first time by asking if they could book a taxi on my behalf. I called again and requested them to book a taxi which they did. Also, upon reaching the hotel, I was directed by the reception staff to go straight down the corridor to reach my room. My room was actually on the first floor that could have been reached via the staircase near the reception. Overall, it was a poor first impression (which could perhaps be attributed to inadequate training). But Paul made up for all that by efficiently taking care of my requirements the next day. Thanks.
