A much larger hotel than I was expecting. We stayed in a 'manor house suite' which was a fabulous room and very large. Definitely would book it again over and above the regular rooms. Nice touch to have a nespresso and dyson hairdryer in place. The restaurant (pippin) was generally good although one meal was poor. Breakfast was very good. The spa was lovely and we had an excellent Rasul treatment and time there. A really lovely place and well appointed.
The spa/leisure centre is in an entirely different building. It's excellent, but worth noting if you were planning on wearing dressing gown there (don't!). You will be crossing a car park. The wait staff were all lovely but not well trained. We complained about one meal (a sorry, but ignored). We asked to be moved to a better table, but told it was reserved. Nobody turned up for it. Annoying. Also: card wasn't swiped at check in, so we couldn't put anything on the room. This should be done automatically.

I really enjoyed my recent stay at the hotel. My check in was handled by Louise who I have to say was extremely pleasant, friendly and professional. I had a meal in the restaurant which was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately it was necessary to move bedrooms due to very noisy guests in bedrooms both sides of mine. However I would have to commend again Louise and Cormac, the Duty Manager, for their understanding and very timely response to my predicament. I was then able to enjoy a very comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was very pleasant, again lovely staff on hand to assist with any query. Plenty of options on offer to be enjoyed.
Inconsiderate people who check into hotels and decide to be extremely noisy, blaring televisions and talking very loudly without any consideration for other guests!

Wonderful hotel with anazing grounds. Much bigger than i expected. The room was spacious and the staff were very friendly and professional. We ate in both restaurants , and the food was excellent . The Pippin is quite expensive though and bottle of sauvigon will set you back €50. There's plenty of areas to sit in, and lots of outdoor seating , overlooking beautiful gardens. There's a butterfly path dedicated to those suffering from EB (a rare skin disorder) and it is such a peaceful spot. Its about 10 miles from Kildare shopping village for some retail therapy and 5 mins from the pretty town of Naas. Cant wait to return.

We had a lovely 1 night stay at the Killashee Hotel, as a couple. We arrived and had a Rasul Mud Treatment in the spa which was fabulous. The spa itself is lovely. The hydro suite is nice with nice massage water jets and a warm pool and hot steam room. Some handles are missing in the pool but it doesn't affect the enjoyment. There are only 2 showers in the female changing room and there was a large group of women so I didn't get to shower after using the facilities. Luckily I was staying in the hotel so it wasn't a big problem, we showered back in the room. The room was nice, clean with a powerful shower and big comfortable bed. The food that evening in the Oak and Anvil was mediocre, a cold steak, cold 'hot sauce' on the chicken wings, a basic veg curry but the service was good and we enjoyed a few drinks there after and up in the larkspur bar with live music, which was nice. Breakfast was great with veggie options and again the staff were brilliant. We walked around the beautiful grounds after breakfast. I will return but maybe dine elsewhere.
The evening meal in the Oak and Anvil was disappointing.

Beautiful building, lots of things to see and do both inside and outside of the buildings. Excellent value for money. The gardens are sensational and the staff were all lovely and helpful
The heat in the bedrooms was extreme, very uncomfortable. We had the fan running for 3 days solid and couldn’t get the temperature down. Hard to sleep in that temperature and Had to check baby’s temperature every other hour during the night. The food in the restaurant was poor, even the chips were still raw. Would not recommend the food here at all, but given the price point of the restaurant this standard wouldn’t be acceptable.

The Hotel was incredibly spacious and spotless throughout. Our bedroom was delightful, with soft, high-quality bed linens and a bed that was wonderfully comfortable. The staff at the Hotel were outstanding, always warm, welcoming, and ready to assist. The large swimming pool was a great feature, offering a perfect place to unwind and go for a nice swim. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a wide range of delicious options to choose from, ensuring there was something for everyone. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return sometime in the future.

Rooms spacious and very clean Food iotions excellent down the the cafe by the leisure centre Staff friendly and helpful Grounds beautiful for walking
I had an issue with the reservations department despite 1 phone call 2 emails and speaking to reception staff on 2 occasions whilst we booked in I was given a pathetic answer of I can't get through to reservations I think there closed at 4pm of a Thursday but I'll send an email when I followed up reservations closed at the moment so a simple matter could have been sorted but no has left a bad taste the only negative to our stay customer service is so strong through out the hotel this was disappointing I wanted to rate the staff due to this low but clearly an issue with your reservations and the front of house covering up also asked a concierge standing at the oak and anvil how I got to the spa to be told he didn't know where it was fully uniform employee

The moment you enter Kilnashee hotel your met with the very lovely, friendly Marie, who was professional & informative. The hotel staff are second to none. The ambience of the Kilnashee is welcoming, luxurious and spotlessly clean. The pippin restaurant has local sourced food. Alfred was very informative about the wine list and took great pride in his position. We were also looked after by the lovely Ava. The grounds of the hotel are a lovely way to walk off the gorgeous food you receive. The beds are most comfortable, as are the comfort of the rooms with everything you need for your stay. CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN.
Absolutely nothing everything was great

My two little girls (aged 5 and 9) and I, had a fantastic girls night away. We had such a lovely time. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out it was a wonderful stay. We had dinner for three and had a very comfortable bedroom. Netflix went down a treat. We went for a walk after dinner into the beautiful gardens. We were delighted to find a playground. There was live music in the bar when we came back in and the girls enjoyed that and their mocktails while I enjoyed my cocktail. Our stay was so lovely we booked it for my parents to come next week for their Wedding Anniversary. Thank you so much Killashee Hotel for very special memories. ❤️

Though personnel at Reception was outstanding, Marie stood out as going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. She took initiative that was extraordinary, she followed through with a smile and a brilliant conversation of interest in all of us guests. One could only hope to have such excellence and care in every hospitality industry location.
The elevator was out of order, something that was surprising that could not quickly be repaired to accommodate guests. We in particular needed the use of an elevator. Made all the steps a bit challenging.
