The rooms were clean and bigger than I expected. For the price, this stay was amazing. WiFi was excellent. The staff lady was very nice. Five stars. +++++
Check in was a bit confusing as we arrive late and it was dark. Google Maps was not accurate.

The campus is absolutely stunning. It was a pleasure to be able to stay there. The bedroom and bathrooms were spotless. The campus was still functioning, and there were students on site, but all were friendly as respectful. The staff couldn't do enough to make sure everything was OK. The campus was right in town, walking distance from shops, bars and cafes.
The rooms were quite a distance across the campus from the car park. I had a lot of heavy luggage (as I had all my camping equipment for a motorcycle tour), and I had to make multiple trips. This might also be an issue for those less mobile. The staff did, however, allow me to store a lot of my luggage in reception, which really helped.

The location, the beauty, the simplicity was wonderful.
Only had two issues with my room. One, is that the heater didn’t work and the temperature was quite cool cold and two the room smelt very strong of cleaning products, so for someone who is sensitive? It was almost overwhelming. the clothing I hung in the closet actually smelt like cleaning products when I took them out at my next location. So either best to air the room out or use less toxic cleaning products. And also take into consideration that the temperature was dropping so to give access to the heaters in the room.

Wonderful and very convenient location (quite near to Dublin and to the motorway, Aldi at walking distance), basic room with (clean) shared bathroom, really silent accommodation, private parking
It was not so easy to find the reception in the large area of South Campus (maybe due to my tiredness), luckily after walking everywhere in the area for half an hour a priest accompanied me to the reception. When you pass the main gate of the South Campus there are two archways in front of you, the one on the left has the reception :) Please add the exact reception location in the map you send to the customers :)

Brilliant location, room spotless clean and very comfortable bed, I slept so well, lovely clean shower and toilet facility, my room was right across the hall from both, so absolutely perfect, I was very impressed and have highly recommended to others!
The location, the beautiful surroundings on Maynooth campus, very peaceful and something very spiritual about it, I had the best nights sleep and woke up energised and in great form, I even went for a run around the Maynooth campus, such a lovely spot to run in!

Great location for trip to Dublin. Clean and comfortable beds.
I was on the side of the boiler house this time and so there was noise from this (I think that's what it was). When I lay on top of one of the beds I could feel vibrations (from heating system?). Switched to other bed and thankfully it was OK. Slept fine on that one. The building is very well heated, too hot for me without having the window open (on a cold night). I did adjust the radiator a bit but this was a manual control so not a precise adjustment. It's a great place to stay but just be prepared for it being very warm.

Excellent accommodation at a truely Historic Location - College dating to 1795! I have stayed on my own when travelling to a sporting event and again with my wife - both at the historic Southern Campus. Staff are exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful. Facilities are good and rooms very clean and clearly recently decorated. Heating was very effective. Free Car Parking was also a Plus - unfortunately no longer a standard with holiday / trip accommodation. Maynooth is a quiet town West of Dublin and within striking distance of the City by driving or by Tram or bus. Well served with Restaurants Bars and Shops - small and large. We enjoyed an excellent continental breakfast on Campus. The grounds are amazing - much used by locals for walks. We explored the campus and grounds but unfortunately the Guided Tours we not operating on our last (end of season) visit - we would have loved to visit inside the St Patricks Church. A reason to come back to Maynooth. A big thanks to all the staff who made out stay enjoyable.
No Negatives - happy to recommend Maynooth Camus and we will visit again.

St Patrick's Maynooth is an untapped gem. The twin rooms are large and the beds are comfortable, with two pillows each. Bathroom across the hall is perfect and updated. Extra washbasin in room. The campus is beautiful - far more impressive and Oxford/Cambridge-like than Trinity College in Dublin! Go for walks! There is a lovely garden at the end of the campus (to the left of the outdoor breakfast area) and, behind the last building, a wood. In this wood is a quaint old cemetery with a lane of trees bent to make a kind of arch above your head as you walk. The copper beeches near the campus chapel are enormous and beautiful and sing songs. The very capable and friendly staff are just across the large iconic courtyard till 22:00 at night if you need anything. Access is by electronic card. Parking was free as it was holiday time. Some free parking spaces are available anyway at any time. Maynooth is very convenient for Dublin as well as the Bru Na Boinne area, which includes Newgrange. Cannot recommend highly enough. I loved that the modern lift was hidden behind a discreet wooden door in the passage of the ancient building so as to preserve the ambience.
If I had to suggest any improvements, it may be to install darker blinds for summer time - it was very light in the room. My airline eye mask worked perfectly, though.

Good location, very comfortable room - Tuam Room, ideal for lone female travellers arriving late in evening as it's in an optimum location right beside reception, and close to both the main entrance gate and carpark.
The only critism would be that the signage for accommodation reception could have been better in the carparks. Both myself and another guest were confused about the location of reception. But that's the only fault I had.

I was very surprised at the accommodations here. The rooms were clean and bigger than I'd expected. For the price, this stay was pretty amazing.
Check-in was a little confusing. The location of the check-in desk is not easy to find, nor is the parking lot. Google maps couldn't give me a straight route to the parking lot. I ended up parking across campus and walked to the location. I think better directions on the website or through booking.com would help a lot with this issue.
