The room was a good size. Beds were comfortable, although it did make noise getting in and out. The staff were great and very friendly. We were heading to a wedding close by and the owner kindly offered to drop us over to the venue for both the wedding day and the second day. The breakfast was also really nice.

We stayed in a room at the top of the house and the window in the bathroom was only frosted on the bottom half. During the day I don't think anyone could have seen in, but if you had a shower in the evening and had the light on, someone probably could have seen up from the road below.

Great very accommodating owner, host, great large tripple room, comfy beds. Breakfast cooked freshly to your order was lovely. Close to amenities and perfect for us as attending a nearby horse clinic.

Property a bit outdated but also the charm because of it. Bathroom, no curtain in window, had to use a bath towel to cover it, shower didn't work very well only a drizzle of water, hardly got you wet enough to wash your body and the shower handle gave some shock feelings when it was on. Hopefully this will be fixed for the next guests.

This is great value accommodation. The room was a good size and well furnished. Bed was comfortable and room well ventilated. Shower was strong (unlike other reviews) and Wi-Fi signal was fine. Breakfast was superb and the staff were lovely.

This is budget accommodation in a small town with few facilities - one small bar, two take-always and two general stores so choice in the evening is limited. However, for the price this accommodation is entirely as expected and recommended.

The house was a sturdy building, with thick walls that would hold in the heat & it being very hot weather was too hot during the night windows would only open a little with safety locks in place, otherwise the rooms were spotless, beautiful bed linen, very comfortable, en-suite in excellent condition , very friendly host John, our little dog was allowed stay in her own bed in our room & was so quiet no one knew she was there, thanks John of Tynte house. I don’t like the way booking.com have downgraded spouse, in the surveys it used to say travelled with …… & one choice was spouse then it became spouse/partner now it’s partner/spouse!

Great central location within Dunlavin, close to Kilcullen and M9 motorway! Parking is extremely easy and very safe both behind and in front of the B&B. Room was clean and well equipped. Bathroom clean and in great working order. Comfortable bed and pillows, had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was delicious! John and Michelle made our stay comfortable and efficient!

Nothing to not like! If you’re on a tight schedule and the place is full, maybe allow more time for breakfast as it can get busy! Also, some might think the rooms are small - it’s a lovely period property so be prepared for that!

Everything! From the moment we arrived, John made us feel at home. Our bedroom ‘The Blue Room’ was quiet and peaceful, perfect size, very homey, very clean. It has everything you might need and if not, I am sure the lovely staff would happily help you get it. Breakfast was superb. Proper home cooked breakfast, great way to start the day and get over a hangover! The B&B is very closed to Rathsallagh Country House, so if you are attending a wedding but don’t want to stay at the venue, Tynte House is the perfect choice. BONUS: ask John to tell you the story of Tynte House… you are in for a treat!

There is really nothing not to like about this place. Parking is on the street, but right across the street from the house and very quiet and safe.

the breakfast was excellent, delicious and served hot by friendly and efficient staff. Staff so helpful and so kind and also took us back to venue to pick up our car. room very comfy.

climbing two flights of stairs but the friendly welcome and staff made up for it. its a very homely place to stay, we stayed in room with a view , it was a lovely clean room with ensuite.

As beautiful as the area is, there isn’t much to do. We were just staying one night but, there was nowhere in the area serving food in the evening. All the pubs were closed down. Managed to get a sandwich in a little coffee shop and bought from dinner etc from a little supermarket

Travelled to Dunlavin to attend a wedding. Spent 2 nights in Tynte B&B. The location was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating! The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast each morning was very good and a welcome addition! There is a shop just around the corner and very nice coffee shop! Would highly recommend Tynte B&B
