each bed in the dorms has curtain which is awesome! we also liked the shower even though it wasn’t 100% clean all of the time. the staff was very friendly and printed our boarding passes for us. the breakfast was also nice

the rooms are very moist, so nothing ever dried in there which is unfortunate because people obviously spend a lot of time at the beach. my bathing suit didn’t dry for 2 days and I had to take it home in my backpack wet and even clothes that were never worn and stayed in the backpack got moist in the room. same with your skin and hair. there were no windows in the room which is probably the cause of this.

location, lobby, the design of the hostel, the terrace

one guy at the the reception did not check properly and said that the free walking tours organized by the municipality are at Carmel market. Yes, one of them is at this market but two others are at different locations - Bauhaus tour starts at bd Rothschild, and respectively the tour about the Sarona community - starts in front of the tourist info at Sarona. I have later double checked online the info myself and ended up at the proper locations to participate in the tours but other travellers could be misguided.

Amazing staff - everybody has been friendly, from the reception to the bar. The place is clean, modern, lively as it hosts various events on evenings. The bar has a great selection of drinks at a very fair price for TLV. Breakfast for the price is great, typical Israeli with shakshuka! It was possible to leave my luggage at the storage room after the check-out.

The room was not the comfiest one, as I had to climb a ladder, which was not in the picture. It was not possible to regulate the AC inside, a major issue in summer. Sometimes the room would be freezing.

Everything. Staff, room, the whole concept of the hostel and cleaniness, everything was so much better than I'm used to in the hostels. A bar in the lobby is also a great additional, as well as the pool table and other activities you can use for free. Included breakfast was delicious too. Location is perfect, calm, quiet and a really close to the beach and bus stops just across the road. If you judge from the satellite photos, it may seem like it's positioned between some port hangars, but these are actually all shops for biggest global brands, so you can do some shopping there as well. Overall, definitely exceedes the expectation of a hostel and beats even some hotels I've stayed in.

Perhaps a bit more variety in breakfast selection, it was the same menu for all 3 mornings.

The hotel is customer friendly with a big lobby and spaces for interactive activities. Our double room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was pretty good, even though I would have liked a little more variety and some fruits. Otherwise the food is good and fresh and for sure you can find something to eat in the morning. The location is nice close to a park and like 10 mins walking to one of the Tel Aviv beaches.

Our room (I shared it with my mother) was very close to the reception area and during some evenings it became a little bit too noisy. The hotel organised some events for its guests which is very nice, but other customers kept slamming the door between the reception and the room area which made us feel a bit unconfortable.

We lived in the family room, it was sufficiently large and comfortable. Breakfast was quite acceptable, not luxurious but enough to last you till lunch. Wifi worked, kitchen was accessible, so basically the room and the hostel have everything needed for a stay. Also, very close to the beach and a few food places.

The room had no windows towards outside, the only window led indoors to the corridor which could be a bit noisy at times. There was no wardrobe or clothes hangers, so keeping clothes was a bit inconvenient; also, the shower room had only two hooks for towels (not easy when you have three or four people living there).

I really liked having a room with en-suite shower and toilet. I didnt know they had any. I guess i didn’t realize when i selected my room type. A pleasant surprise. ALL the staff were quite kind, helpful and accommodating.

I really didnt like having instant coffee. Any other types of coffee you have to pay for. Which i did. And they’re not hostel prices….They should charge less, at least during breakfast, or install a coffee machine instead of the instant. I really didn’t like the fact that people walk along the halls after midnight and early morning talking loudly.

The Spot Hostel exceeded my expectations, from the staff, to the room, cleanliness, breakfast spread and the location. This was the first time I was traveling on my own and The Spot made me feel completely comfortable and safe. Special thanks to Manny and Amitai for helping me navigate logistics and tending to any of my needs. The room was a perfect size for a solo traveler, clean and tidy. The breakfast they served was authentic Israeli food and the location was right at the Tel Aviv Port, a quick 10-15 minutes to the beach. I stayed at The Spot for 2 nights and wish I could have extended. Thank you for everything!

The hostel is in a nice location (quite central and near the beach, yet in a very quiet spot by the park) with many good bus connections close by. The private rooms are comfortable, quiet and have good amenities. Practically every evening, there was a social event in the common area/bar (concerts, performances, etc.) which was a great experience. The staff is also very kind.

There is a lot of humidity in the rooms and I occasionally had a few bugs in the bathroom/shower because of it. Would be beneficial, if there was a central AC/dehumidifier running even when guests are out of the rooms

The well thought-out concept of sleeping in a container was better than expexted and it was well furnished. The space outside the sleeping place is very nice industrial and large , and has a nice bar with many Belgian beers too..Electric bikes and steps close to this place. Very nice location to explore Tel Aviv ! We found the breakfast fantastic, very extensive, and what a delicious flavors..in a buffet. We enjoyed !!! Thanks for everyhing !

The maintenance from the room, bathroom. We noticed it here but also at other addresses in Israel. Good occupancy also requires keeping up with a lot of maintenance that is not done sufficiently. Please note that there is a gap between the bed and the wall under the Tv in the economy room. My glasses fell in, and it was full of dirt. Moisture on the wall at the bottom of the room, peeling wallpaper. Bathroom.smells musty, but even that super good big shower. Bed sheet was too small. We suspect for 1 person instead of 2 persons. Noisy, last night in our room, when we got neighbours. Reception and telephones are better separated. We had to rush for the taxi to the airport.but wait for our breakfast tickets.
