🏠Location: * The hotel is located in the perfect location close to the main attractions (you can go by feet there) and main train station (4 minutes walk, but you never here the noise from there!). * The airport is only 15-20 minutes away via public transport (Bus 1). ☕️Breakfast: * Very good breakfast with the diverse choice: eggs (scrambled, boiled), bacon/sausages, different varieties of meat, pastries, muesli etc. * There were never a huge queue in the breakfast area and there were always a table to choose. * The food is tasty! 🏢 Room: * The room was spacious and cozy. * The heating worked good with the comfortable temperature

Overall stay was good, so we didn’t find any huge disappointments.

The hotel is modern and bright, great facilities and located in a perfect location for exploring Bergamo itself or on to other towns/cities with the main train station only a few minutes walk away. The beds were extremely comfortable, the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

The only negative comment I have about the property relates to the lobby seating. There are a few old and worn looking grey sofa seats opposite reception and near to the bar and they were all sporting horrible stains and under foam was protruding. Easy fix to replace these as they were the only thing that brought down the look of the hotel lobby which is otherwise very stylish and welcoming.

I have used this hotel many times. It is only a few minutes walk to and from the train station but is also within easy walking distance to the funicular railway that gives access to the high town. The room was very spacious. The bathroom is well equipped and had a lovely shower. Security box also located in the room to store valuables at no charge. The breakfast comes with a fantastic choice of products.

The hotel was very busy and breakfast products ran out and were replaced by the serving staff but on one occasion I had finished breakfast when the new supplies of the things that I had wanted came.

The location of the hotel is great. There is an underground parking just behind the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was nice.

The main receptionict was not nice. When we entered we needed to wait for him like 15 mins to start our check in. There was another lady as a receptionist, but it looked liked she is on practice session so she didn't felt comfortable neither. So after 10 mins of us waiting she started to ask us our details, but the main receptionist needed to finish it, so anyway we needed to wait for him. Quite rude. I hope that this he had just bad day, ot is not an usual comportance.

Professional staff, level of accommodation as expected for 4stars: spacious room, comfortable bed, teapot in the room, several restaurants nearby. Close to the station, to go to città alta put in around 20min by foot. At breakfast some choice even for those who try to eat healthy, like yogurt with no added sugar and tomatoes/ salad leaves. Overall good impression, thank you.

For 4 stars many small things which you normally expect were lacking, but this is not a big deal. Some things need repair ent to function properly, like lighting and shower, which could be a big deal if staying for a longer period. Do not share the opinion of breakfast being great, salad leaves were not perfectly fresh for example and some cakes were too sugar loaded, even though I have seen worse as well, so not a big deal for 1 night.

The hotel was quite comfortable, except some small details, the location was convinient if you go by train/bus, but the surrounding doesn't feel nice and safe. The personnel was in general polite and helful, except one woman. The breakfast was very good, the breakfast hall could be more cosy, especially white and bright light, saying "eat and go away as soon as possible"

Some small details in the room (like quite cold, loud, you can hear all sounds like the window would be open, it was not possible to switch off one lamp at the bed). One woman working in reception was not polite, also smiling but very unpersonal and quickly getting irritating. Not cozy breakfast hall and in general the hotel was more formal, not very cozy. The surrounding was not safe and nice. The price is too high for this type of the hotel.

Great location, 5 min from the main train station, on the main boulevard, full of shopping and restaurants around. The breakfast was very good, a lot of options (eggs, few kind of ham and cheese, sweets and an excellent expresso) including gluten free (ask the staff for more this). Clean room having a good size to accommodate 2 adults.

The beds not really comfortable. The mattress was too soft and the pillows too big. More storage space should be great (a closet, or some shelves). Considering all pro and cons, this is not a 4 start hotel in my opinion.

Good location close to both the train station and the bus stop for the airport bus. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of storage space. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was large and powerful. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice (cereal, eggs, bacon, breads, pastries, cakes, fruit and yogurts). Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Viktoria who helped us resolve an issue with booking.com. If needed luggage storage facilities are available at reception. Hotel is about a 15 minute flat walk to the funicular to the Citta Alta. There are a number of bars and restaurants close to the hotel. Would definitely recommend the Mercure if you’re visiting Bergamo.

There is a charge for the safe in the room. The downstairs bar area is very small with not much atmosphere.

Modern, neat, clean rooms. Good location

The water in the shower did not drain, which made it impossible to use properly. The bathroom was terribly cold, no heating, which was very unpleasant in winter. The food for breakfast is good, but the absolute tragedy is that the breakfast area is too small, people stand for 10 minutes and wait without getting a table, there is a constant shortage of dishes, coffee cups, utensils, and the staff does not replenish food in time. Unless you come for a breakfast at 6:30 a.m.

The hotel is clean and nice, a few minutes walk from the train station, in a good area. The room was surprisingly quiet, great soundproofing despite my window facing a busy street, also couldn’t hear any neighbours or anything in the corridor. Wonderful. What was particularly great is how helpful and nice the hotel staff was! There was a tiny issue with my first room and the staff immediately suggested to move me to another room even though I didn’t ask for it. Really helpful! The room was very tidy and had everything one needs, and everything worked well. If anybody from the hotel is reading this review, I want to thank you for making my stay in Bergamo so pleasant.

My only grudge is that the room was way too hot, the air conditioning was quite weak. I was waking up at night, +31 in the room (with +10 outside!) — had to open the window as the air conditioning did nothing. I didn’t complain as I only stayed for two nights, but it might be an issue in summer.
