The hotel is situated less than a 10 minute walk from the main train station. Citta' Bassa is yards away and Citta' Alta easily reached by bus or funicular. Friendly staff at reception and the foyer is fairly impressive. I had a single room on the forth floor. It was well equipped, decent bathroom and tea/coffee , which you seldom get in an hotel room in Italy. I asked for some extra milk and staff duly obliged. Great choice for breakfast ( continental buffet style ), check-out was easy and the bus stop for the airport is only 50 yds away ! Overall, a very nice experience.

Standard breakfast. Not wow, but can find that to eat. If want something special are more places for amazing breakfast near hotel location. Location for us who like more walking was exceptional, around more shops, restaurants, bus stop. Room was nice, made in new style. No boring old interior.

The price-quality ratio is good

The hotel is in a very central location. Close to the shopping district and plenty of bars & restaurants nearby. It is also right on the bus route to & from the Airport. The train station is a 10 minute walk. The Citta' Alta (old town) is a 15 minute walk to the Funicular or a 15 minute bus journey, from right outside the hotel, up to the old town. Our room was a "Classic" one, which was in the older part of the hotel. It had AC and was a decent size. The breakfast we had each day was good. Plenty to choose from hot & cold drinks, cereals, fruits, cold meats & cheeses, sweet snacks and bread. The hot food was limited to Scrambled & hard-boiled eggs, streaky bacon, chicken sausages, a bean mixture & tomatoes. Every staff member we interacted with was both friendly and helpful with any queries or questions.

Perhaps a greater range of hot food for breakfast. But this is a minor quibble. The Classic room needs more power outlets, as nearly everyone has multiple gadgets that need to be charged daily. We had 5 between 2 of us. Having the room's light switch inside the door would be much easier than just beside the beds! A bigger bathroom shelf. These are not a slight on the hotel, but more suggestions to elevate the experience.

We loved the location near to lots of restaurants and cafes and next to the airport shuttle bus stop . We had a larger deluxe room which was wonderful in its size and upmarket fittings . The beds were so firm and we had a great nights sleep. The en-suite shower room was large and we loved the toiletries provided - and the air conditioning was operating effectively because it’s been v warm this week . Breakfast was also plentiful with a range of hot and cold food to choose from. The staff on reception and in the breakfast room were hardworking and very helpful 👍

Everything was perfect! Friendly and helpful staff (thank you Martina for your excellent recommendation regarding restaurants), very big and modern rooms, comfy beds and excellent position near Citta Alta! You can find supermarkets, shops and restaurants just outside the hotel! Also the bus station is in front of the hotel - easy acces to get from and to the airport - 15 minutes. Will definitely return!

Everything was perfect!

Nice hotel, we stayed in the room after renovation, part of the hotel is still under renovation. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is easy access to the public transportation to get to the train station (you can walk actually) or airport - bus stop next to the hotel front door. It is nice to walk to the upper city from here too. In the neighborhood you can find plenty of dining and shopping options.

The location cannot be beat, very convenient to the train station, and bus stop outside also. The staff are wonderful, very welcoming and kind. The rooms are a little dated but perfectly fine for one night. There are newer, refurbished rooms in addition to the classic rooms. I've stayed in both. the newer rooms may offer updated decor but you sacrifice with space.

The classic rooms are a little dated but perfectly fine for one night. Excellent pillows but uncomfortably hard mattress. The water pressure in the shower is poor and in the classic rooms the temp changes itself between cold and scalding. I guess the plumbing is to be expected in an older building though. It wouldn't put me off returning for a night.

Facilities were comfortable and room was clean in good conditions. Location was perfect for our visit during July 2024 and our needs since it was very close to restaurants and easy to take transportation to move to the upper part of the city as well as reasonably close to the train station. Bus stops literally out the door. We did not use the breakfast option at the hotel. Staff were professional, friendly and courteous. The neighborhood looked in good state of repair and well maintained which gave a positive sense of a safe area.

All was good for our needs.
