This was a wonderful find right in the heart of Florence. Near enough to walk easily to restaurants and the historical sites - but also beautifully quiet and slightly tucked away. Lorenzo was so friendly and helpful - brilliant at giving us ideas on great places to eat. It was good to get an opinion from someone who was born and bred in the city. I loved the building - it is pre WWII and had a beautiful feel, tastefully decorated - lots of stone floors, high ceilings and lovely furniture. Our bed was very comfortable - an absolute must for me - so that alone earns the host great score. Breakfasts were simple - self serve coffee - good and strong - with freshly put together croissant and a few other bits and what was lovely is they were taken in a courtyard garden. Great shower - lovely pressure. There was a TV but we didn't use it. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if in Florence. Highly recommend.

There is nothing that we did not like.

The room was nice, plenty of room with a deck to the inside courtyard. The weather was rather wet so we didn't use it. The stairs going to the room were a bit of a surprise as all other rooms were on the ground floor. The location was good as away from the busy areas and plenty of good places to eat close by. Lorenzo was a great help with anything that we asked.

The placement of our room is through the office where people go to use the coffee machine so it was a bit noisy later at night when people were using it. We were supposed to get breakfast but we think some other guest may have taken ours but when I told Lorenzo he made good and gave us a ticket to go to a cafe close by for breakfast, which was really good and very thoughtful.

Excellent location, great host. He recommended restaurants and the market which were just what we wanted. We took his advice and visited the Boboli gardens which were lovely even on a damp day and gave a sense of perspective over this wonderful but intense city. We had a comfortable bed and good quality bedding. The bed was tidied for us daily.The little courtyard at the hotel is pretty and it was very quiet. Unlimited tea coffee or water was nice.

Well the room was rather cramped and dark and the windowless bathroom was so narrow! A good thing we are not big people! We felt the breakfast was not great and it had to be eaten out of a cardboard box and it was almost exactly the same every day.

A lovely B&B with a lot of historic charm. The location is great, very central to everything. The kind host, Lorenzo, provides breakfast box containing a couple of croissants and a muffin every morning along with yogurt, coffee, tea, and juice. You can eat in the cute garden area or take it back to your room. He also left us a nice bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Our room was at the front of the building and faced the street but it was still very quiet - didn’t hear any street noise or people passing by. The room is quite large with a big armoire and plenty of space to put your stuff.

Heavy use of plug-in air “fresheners” in the public areas and rooms. If you are sensitive to perfumes and cloying smells you might request ahead of time that they don’t plug any in your room. It was fine once I removed them from the walls but overwhelming when we first walked in.

It was so cute! The room was great and just as described/photographed. Breakfast was great start to the day and the garden/courtyard area was so peaceful and dreamy for breakfast. Lorenzo was so great and accommodating, he had tons of recommendations for restaurants and things to do around Florence. He even helped us out with calling us a taxi the early morning we were leaving. The B&B was within 10 minutes walking of the Duomo and shops close by. Tons of cafes nearby. Would definitely recommend this if you are traveling to Florence!

The hosts were extremly friendly and the communication super smooth. The rooms are very nicely decorated and equipt (e.g. tee, coffee, water, fridge etc. available in the room). Our room was very quiet facing the very pretty courtyard of the building where you can have your breakfast. We came by train and walked to the accomondation which took about 10 - 15 min. The area is very nice and a very good spot to discover the rest of the city. Everything is in walking distance. Breakfast was also nice (delivered by a bakery) and with self-service.

All was super :) We would come again!

The location was great, close to restaurants n shops. The staff are very helpful and informative. The hotel has a lovely smell on entry, room was nice and comfortable, only complaint is they have an outdoor area,which is really pretty, unfortunately the neighbours were smokers so we didn’t get to enjoy our breakfasts outside everyday of our stay, the walls are not sound proof either, (not sure if there’s anything that can done about that) but it was very please stay.

Location, staff, convenience, and modern. Lovely fresh rolls for breakfast but some may find it monotonous if staying for extended period.

Perhaps advice to guest to keep the noise down at night. Had some Americans in the next room who made call around 11pm and the noise travelled and kept us awake. Ended up knocking on their door at midnight and saying something. No on premise manage to monitor. Also no English tv but don’t generally watch it - minor really

The location of the B&B was very good and only a walkable distance from the station. Check-in and out were simple. The staff was very friendly and was easy to communicate in English compared to other Italian places we stayed in. Breakfast could have been better but wasn't a big deal for us. We have given a bottle of red wine in our room, which was a bonus and we enjoyed drinking it. Thank you. Very reasonable price and will definitely stay again if we are visiting Florence. Thank you 😊

The bathroom was a bit congested.

Perfect location. Still central, but in a quiet area. Short walking distance to duomo. Lorenzo was amazing host! Gave us a map and explained points of interest as well as provided recommendations for places to eat. In one of the places he recommended we had the best meal whilst visiting Tuscany. Free Tea and coffee was also available during the day and Lorenzo was so kind to offer us some free drinks after we already checked out and came back to collect our luggage.

Nothing! It was perfect and we would have liked to stay there longer!
