Upon arriving, my girlfriend and I were exhausted from a disappointing experience at a previous hotel. However, we were greeted by a very welcoming receptionist named Bryan who made us feel right at home. We were delighted by his kindness and helpfulness. The room was not only spotless and smelled beautiful, but it was also much more spacious than we had expected based on our booking. The location was ideal and the breakfast was both unique and delicious. If you're planning a trip to Florence, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Also my we went to Florence for my birthday and on my birthday Bryan offered me a complimentary glass of wine, which made me feel very good. Fantastic in every aspect!!

We loved it all.

Staff were exceptional. They were very attentive and provided fantastic service to a very high standard. For example, I required a suit to be dry cleaned for a wedding, this was organised and returned within 24 hours with little to no fuss. The breakfast was delicious. It was a continental buffet style but you could order extras if required. The Hotel was immaculate, our room was well laid out and looked onto a quiet street, while only a 5-10 minute walk to the markets and city centre (including Il Duomo). Really impressed by our stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for accomodation in Florence

Not much to complain about

We loved everything about Hotel Rapallo! The location was close to major sites, train station, shopping and many restaurants. The hotel and our hotel room was beautiful and elegant. Above all, the manager and staff were exceptional and gave personal attention to us upon arrival and the duration of our stay. They arranged taxis, suggested restaurants and the manager even walked us to the meeting point to meet our tour guide for our wine tour in Tuscany when taxis weren’t available and we were short on time! We were fortunate that he knew the short cuts and that he was so gracious with his time. The breakfast was delicious and had many options. Our stay at Hotel Rapallo was wonderful and we would gladly return!

Luxurious hotel furnished in a classic neutral style with marble bathrooms and black out curtains. Great location, 15mins walk to Duomo, 20mins to Arno/Pitti Palace with plenty of bars, restaurants and a good laundrette round the corner. Area was quiet at night. Aircon was quiet and fantastic - a must in this heat. We had a room with a large terrace with comfortable outdoor sofa, table and chairs which meant we could make the most of being at the hotel and have a glass of wine and a snack on our room/terrace. Breakfast was adequate but the room was small so guests need to book a table in advance. The hotel has a lift and the bar is open for drinks and complimentary snacks in the evening.

Hotel reception staff and housekeeping were very friendly and professional, some of the breakfast/bar staff weren’t quite as friendly but a minor thing.

All the staff are fantastic - so smartly dressed and really friendly & caring in their communications. Nothing was too much trouble. The cleanliness of all the facilities was impeccable. The dining room was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet offered plenty of choice - any cooked items were well done and nicely presented. They also offer afternoon tea with some delightful cakes on offer. Although the hotel is situated on a busy road guests not aware of the traffic noise. The whole venue is nicely decorated and very relaxing. It’s location is approximately 10 minutes max. walking distance from the start of what is considered Florence’s ‘historic centre’ A huge ‘thank you’ to the owner - Lorenzo - and his wonderful team.

Breakfast was the best. The Filipino receptionist/Server, (sorry I'm not good in remembering names) Welcome guest with friendly smile,s greets seated us and offer choices of hot chocolate, american coffee, Espresso, tea etc. Buffet style warmth veggies, Bacon, Scrambled egg and option for freshly cook omelettes and other items from Menu. Tables for own pick up spread of cheese meats,nuts, fruits, cereals. juices, Pastries Cakes etc. Everything needed for nutritious body make it ready to begin exploring Florence, He also gave us bottled waters to bring for a walk. Experienced extras mile service. Room has enough space to move around for couples. bright light, clean floors, bathroom, drawers etc.

Breakfast was delightful - lots of choices for a hot breakfast (eggs, omelette etc). Service was also very friendly every morning, though we did feel quite rushed as the dining room was quite small and there were people waiting to eat. The front desk were also lovely. Our room was not yet ready when we arrived and when we came back from lunch, our bags were already in our rooms.

The building is a little tired and in need of renovation. Some things falling apart in the rooms. It is a little further from the other hotels and away from the historical centre, but we didn't mind walking an extra 10mins or so.

This charming hotel is clean and comfortable with excellent service. The extra touches like hotel stationary, hot chocolate and comfortable chairs in the room, a pull out washing line in the bathroom, the cold drinking water with lemon in reception, and the staff knowing who their guests are, made a big difference to us. Breakfast was freshly made to order, with a selection also available from the buffet. The hotel location is good with the centre of Florence a short walk away.

It’s location suited us perfectly, slightly set away from the city centre but still just a 15 minute walk. It was clean, modern and well priced. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection all of which was fresh. They also have tea, coffee and cakes available in the breakfast room later in the afternoon where you can also order drinks at the bar. The staff were exceptional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location, less than 10 minute walk into Central. Staff was great, super friendly and happy to help with any requests. Breakfast selection was good with freshly cooked options, would have preferred more cut fresh fruit selection. Room was spacious and clean.

Hotel is on a main road so you can hear a small amount of traffic noise although it was not a problem for us. Walls between rooms were quite thin, unfortunately rude guests playing music and speaking late into the evening were disruptive.
