Very good staff, excelent location, good breakfast.

Nice and renovated room and Bathroom. Best experience I had in all my bookings in Europe. The staff texted ahead of our booking to know what time we were gonna arrive, left our luggage in the hotel as we arrived in the morning. They texted us when our room was ready (earlier than normal check in time) and took our luggage to our room by the time we arrived, amazing service, really close to the main train station and easy to walk to the main attractions. Breakfast was delicious, with heaps of options, 100% recommended

Nothing, really enjoyed my stay in this hotel

Location and price are great. The staff was great. Very helpful and accommodating of my not knowing the Italian language. Very helpful with recommendations and directions around town. The breakfast had premium coffee and a nice continental spread.

The hotel made it clear there was no elevator, but it was a challenge getting heavy bags up the four flights of stairs. Not a dealbreaker, but be prepared. The shower is poorly designed and leaks in the floor with normal use. The bed is not the most comfy, but fine. There are blemishes, the AC works but not well, broken floor tiles, etc. - it is old and needs a little TLC. This is not a luxury hotel by any means, but is safe and comfortable.

Both receptionists were very pleasant, proactive in information/assistance and accommodating, too. I do not remember requesting a quiet room but I certainly got one. I loved the shower, unusual design. It was very clean, which is what I mostly look for when booking a hotel room. Breakfast was excellent in terms of quality and options, the coffee superb. Lady very friendly and indeed hard working!

The toilet lid was loose/wonky and I forgot to mention it to the team. It took a while for me to get the shower at the right temperature, wasting a lot of water in the process, which l hate. At times too hot in the room, even though I did try to lower the thermostat; I did follow the minus arrow.

Great location near the train station, made it easy to move from one city to another. Room was beautiful, well appointed, and the shower was actually decent sized.

Staying in these old buildings is part of the charm of traveling to Italy, but it does come with challenges. During our stay there was a plumbing problem with our room only. The manager was prompt to return to the hotel to deal with it, but unfortunately a plumber needed to be called. The hotel manager was very apologetic, and kept us up to date on repairs while we went out and traveled the rest of the city. We got a credit on our bill at the end for the inconvenience. Did I wish we didn’t have any problems? Yes. But the responsiveness of the staff means I would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel was just 2 minutes away from the train station. It was clean and well organised with all necessary amenities. No false information is advertised on the booking page. The hotel management is available day and night through their WhatsApp and are extremely kind and supportive.

The hotel did not have a lift, which is not a problem if you don't have luggage, but if you do and you have bad knees, it will give you a lot of problems especially if you get a higher floor.

We enjoyed our experience at the Lombardia. We don’t really have any complaints except there was no elevator being senior citizens that was an issue. Our room was on the second floor, so going up and down the steps was difficult for me. The staff was great though they took our luggage up and offered to bring it down, although we left for dinner and didn’t get back in time for them to bring it down but all in all we were satisfied with our stay there, the breakfast was great. I was grateful to see eggs being an American that was some thing I was glad to see this girl servicing. The breakfast was exceptional. Everyone was really great if and when we plan another visit to Florence, this hotel will definitely be on our list especially if you figure out how to get us from downstairs to upstairs or maybe even booked on the first floor would be better. An elevator would’ve been a great asset

Overall, the experience was great, but i have to point out the readiness of the staff to help me with an unexpected health issue I had to deal with while in Florence, when i asked for a place to have medical treatment, they quickly indicated 2 places, they wrote down the names, gave me a flyer and explained the address. When i needed ice, they didn't have it but told to where to get it quickly and for free. They helped me solve my problem in the best way. Another aspect that deserves to be pointed out is the cleaning, for both days of our stay, the room and bathroom was imaculate and spotless! The breakfast may not be super varied and filled with food, but it has absolutely everything you need for a good and healthy start to the day. Highly recommend this hotel!

Our stay was great. The hotel is perfectly positioned. You reach all the tourist attractions very quickly. At the same time, the staff is extremely kind and explains everything you need to know about the tourist attractions as well as the hotel and facilities. Breakfast was quite varied, I didn't feel the need for anything extra. Overall it was an excellent choice!

It's not that I didn't liked it, but it was a little bit uncomfortable the lack of elevator. But as soon as you take your luggage to the room you can enjoy a wonderful trip.

Fast Wi-Fi, breakfast had lots of options, the staff were very nice and accommodating, We arrived early and they provided us a room immediately without extra costs, checking process was fast and easy, breakfast was great, I had eggs with zucchini, croissants with cream, coffee, salami and cheese, then fresh orange juice. My hubby had yogurt , fruit, croissants with fresh jelly, boiled eggs, and chocolate muffins, with bottled water and orange juice.we still wanted to explore a bit before heading to the next city and the staff held our bags for several hours, thank you for everything.

The keys the room are physical keys, we left them in the door upon entering and got locked in; however we called the staff with the number they provided and they immediately came and assisted us. Everything else no issues.
