The staff was quite remarkable and extraordinarily helpful and professional. Every effort was made to accommodate us while we were there. The start of the stay did not start off quite well due to communication between Booking.com and The Hotel. However, it was the front desk employees who made the difference . These young people are so sincere and thoughtful, I truly hope the ownership of this Hotel appreciates and compensates them for the great job they do.

The constant and at sometime tremendous amount of construction noise surrounding this property! They should be required to state this is their description while this is being done ! also the owner’s was at first not understanding of this issues! They said there would be not construction on the weekend which was not true. Construction all day on Saturday and Sunday! Also the cranes and banging and construction started at 5:45 am everyday! if you are in the back of the hotel , this can be extremely terrible.

everything was perfect as usual. It is the perfect place to visit Florence. The breakfast is exceptional, you can serve it in the room, in the restaurant or on the terrace on the first floor which has a superb view of the Arno river, the Ponte Vecchio, the most magnificent city in Italy. The hotel also has a terrace with a bar in the inner courtyard. If you drive your own car, valet parking is provided at a nearby garage. The staff at the reception is super friendly, if you want advice to visit the places of interest, you need reservations at the restaurant, they guide you and solve any problem. The hotel manager, Mr. Heitor, is an extraordinary gentleman, if you want to give a grade, which is too littleto describe him, he is a 10 out of 10, there are too few words of praise to describe him. I have stayed at the hotel several times and compared to other frequented places, everything is more perfect, renovated, 10-point cleanliness, increasing comfort every year. I strongly recommend, especially the rooms with a terrace. We will definitely return at Lungarno Vespucci 50. Last but not least, we would like to thank Abdel and the entire reception staff for their useful advice and exemplary behavior.

friendly, accommodating staff❤️ Heitor and his colleagues welcomed us warmly and made our 1 week-stay/holiday very pleasant. the fridge was filled with drinks for free. coffee machine and capsules/ tee, sugar etc were also free and refilled regularly. sheets and towels were clean and the bed was really well made to sleep in. we slept well. the restaurant has good food and staff liked doing there job. it was clean, delicious and well-presented. the property was clean, has history/ story to tell,location was great! to get to the destinations by foot has always been a pleasant and scenic walk. 12 mins to the train station. 18-20 Minutes to the Dome. 25 mins to the Academy Gallery. 15 Mins to Palazzo Pitti/ Boboli Gardens. a definite go to hotel when you plan a trip to Florence. should i return there, will definitely choose this hotel again. here i/we are certain to be safe and taken cared of. all the best to staff and this facility. we’ll never forget this trip. thank you for making it memorable ❤️🇮🇹🎉

The hotel was spotless and all the staff were exceptional. We were made to feel most welcome and whatever we wanted or needed was not a problem and it was dealt with in a most efficient manner. Someone was aways available to deal with our needs. We had a lovely room overlooking the river which was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. The cooling system worked well and kept the room at our desired temperature with the minimum of noise and did not disturb us at night which is quite unusual in our experience.

The location of the hotel was great! All the important sightseeing spots are easily reachable by foot. The room was big and spacious with all the little things you need and even an free minibar (except alcoholic drinks). We even had a free upgrade. They have a valet service who picks up your car when you check in and brings it back when you check out (30€/night). All in all a very good stay for Firenze.

The prices we paid were in our opinion a little bit to much. But as it was holiday season in Italy, it's fair.

Every single thing! this hotel is just amazing, from the design that sends you back to the renaissance era, to the lovely most friendly and professional staff you can ever meet, welcomed us the moment we arrived from outside the door and was waiting for us.. they do call you with your name which shows how they are detailed oriented and serve every guest like a special one. also they treated us with complimentary fruits and a chianti reserva bottle of wine! the breakfast was superb in this dining room that you feel you’re in a museum. they guy he made us the special breakfast, you can see that he works out of passion and he was so kind. the view from our room was fantastic right on the river showing the famous bridges of Firenze… such an unforgettable marvelous experience we had and definitely we will get back not once or twice, it’s like a our home in Florence. thank you guys 🙏🏻

The most comfortable beds ever! such a lovely property, right on the river, 10 mins walk into the town. the staff were so friendly and the shower and facilities brand new. there was a beautiful terrace too. couldn’t have asked for more!

only suggestion - it would be great if there was a cheaper breakfast option. 25EUR is a lot per person. if it was 15EUR but smaller then we would have definitely gone ahead. or a few price options would be good

We could not fault our stay at Hotel Lungarno Vespucci. The staff were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond. We felt very welcomed and were given a lot of time to be shown recommendations about the city and to use the roof top bar and facilities. The room was large, bright and very comfy. We can't wait to stay here again, highly recommend.

The hotel was fabulous, would recommend this to anybody staying in Florence. It’s out of the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to walk. The staff were so friendly and attentive, they brought us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco on arrival for our anniversary which made the trip very special.

Location is next to the US embassy - very convenient. Easy to get to other places. Good eateries around. Amazing walks along the river. The decor is opulent but not excessive. The staff are amazing - just wonderfu. They treat the guests as though they are family - warm, genuine. They went out of their way to be useful. Brilliant hotel.
