I took my elderly father on a Bucket List trip to Italy and wanted to make it unforgettably special. He’s physically handicapped, due to a stroke, which made finding lodging accommodations difficult. I rented us the two bedroom apartment, which is nearly 3000 ft.²! We stayed there for six nights while we explored Florence. The facility was stunning, and as we were not able to visit as much of the city as people that would be able-bodied, even while we were in our apartment, we were still experiencing historic Italy everywhere we looked. Although there is one large step from the street level to the main floor of the facility, it has an elevator from the street level up to the first floor. (Ground level is considered “0” level and American’s 2nd story is considered “1” in Italy.) We rented a foldable electric wheel chair, while we were in Rome, and took it with us for the month of travel. It worked beautifully in the smooth floors in this unit! One of the bathrooms is the same floor level as the rest of the apartment, so he was able to drive right in. It also fit beautifully in the elevator., However, a mobility scooter would be too long and would not fit. The shower didn’t have any handicapped grab rails so, I asked Francesco, the owner, and he had suction cup, shower grab handles that were delivered the very next morning! He even ordered another set for the unit and let us take the first set with us on our journey so that my dad could be safe that the rest of our accommodations. He and his staff could not have been more attentive to our needs. two bedroom apartment, which is nearly 3000 ft.²! We stayed there for six nights while we explored Florence. There was nothing that we didn’t like about this property. There is no street parking, of course, because you were in downtown Florence, but there is a parking garage that has an agreement with the facility and there is reduced priced parking.

Francesco was more than accommodating and super helpful. He gave several food recommendations and was always available when we had questions or concerns. The location was fabulous, like a 3 min walk to Il Duomo. Great central spot for us to be able to go back to the room to rest, bathroom, etc. It was a 10 min walk from the train station. Doable with small luggage, might want to pay a few euros for a taxi with large luggage. The unit was great, and had a loft with 2 beds where our teenage daughters slept, so it felt like we had our own room as well. Laundry worked great.

There were two A/C units that both worked, but we felt like they didn't cool down the unit as much as we wanted. We asked Francesco to check to see if they were working, and he reset them, but we still felt warm. that said, it was like 10 degrees while we were there, so it was just so hot in general. There was one fan in the loft, but would have been nice to have a 2nd fan for the downstairs. If we had asked, maybe he would have given us one, so that's on us. Would stay again for sure!

Amazing location. Near a lot of highly rated restaurants and close to the train station. Accessing the apartment was easy. It was also very clean. There is both a washer and a dryer (and a drying rack).

We stayed in the split level and I didn't realize the second bed was open to the bottom floor in a loft style (perhaps my own fault). Therefore it's not two enclosed bedrooms. It's one enclosed bedroom with the bathroom inside that bedroom. Then through that bedroom you can go upstairs, through a door to access another bed which overlooks the living and dining area. It ended up being fine for us but was a bit more difficult to get our daughters down to sleep and to also hang out after putting them to bed.

Francesco was the ultimate host and a wealth of information. We loved everything about our stay. My husband uses a mobile wheelchair and the lift was a great asset. The building is beautiful, the family room we stayed in was the nicest we stayed at in Italy. It is also extremely secure. The location could not have been any better. Walking and wheelchair accessible to shopping, food and many excursion destinations. Loved our stay and definitely return.

There was nothing to find fault with this property.

We loved everything about our stay - the location, the cleanliness, the decoration, the hi-tech system (including security), and most importantly the staff. Filippo went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He replied to our questions late at night and helped us with our issues with our booking in another town even after our check out - and this was not even relevant to our stay with them. Check-in and out were super easy. Free luggage storage (with a good system) was a nice plus. Highly recommended.

The second floor appartment (with elevator) was in a beautiful old building and was recently remodeled. It was a small but complete kitchen. There was a washer and dryer in the appartment and they provided laundry soap. The location is excellent, half way between the train station and the Duomo. It's a short walk from the train station. While in a busy area, wood covers for the windows reduced noise at night. Overall very clean and comfortable. Arranging the check in was easy using whatsapp.

Friendly, nice, helpful. The rooms were spotless. We were pleased with the A/C ( works great) and the washer and dryer.

We would have appreciated a grab bar in the shower. Because it was so hot we were showering sometimes twice a day. It was always scary as it was slippery . We also wanted recycle bins. We did not have a choice and ended up throwing stuff away. Also to have a booklet with instructions would have help.

I loved how close this property was to literally everything we needed to do and wanted to see. I so appreciated Francesco and his immediate response to every request. His recommendations for food were spot on and he made us feel so welcome. The property was remodeled and just felt like home to us. We would stay here again without question.

There was nothing that we didn’t like here. We had everything we needed. I mean if I get really picky, 2 more large towels would’ve been nice but we used the washer to refresh them over our 4 day stay and that was perfect.

Brilliant location, stone throw away from major attractions and restaurants. The apartment was spotlessly clean with good sized bedrooms, comfortable for our family of four and equipped with Netflix/Disney +/ YouTube to keep the young ones entertained. Filippo was patient with our questions and gave good travel advice.

Nothing. The washroom could do with a retractable cosmetic mirror though as the big mirror was placed too high for a short guest like me (5 feet 2)!

the apartment gets you into the mood of Florence and its culture. Nice decoration, charm and cleanliness, reasonably well equipped kitchen- we noticed there were no coffee cups or mugs! Filippo is a great host, replied immediately and brought some the morning after- , large and comfortable beds. The location is excellent near the train station, duomo, many restaurants and old city. Unfortunately also too noisy.

No sound proof windows, you hear ALL noises and voices from the street! Another apartment not facing the main Street is a much better option. Otherwise we felt at home there and felt the price you pay is 90% worth it.
