It was like we were back home! This is not our first time staying at this cozy aparthotel. The charm of Florence, the historic building and the view from the window of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore have delighted us all these days. Comfortable shower, large towels. The hotel has a wonderful and convenient location, impeccable cleanliness, cozy apartments. This time the music program in the cafe downstairs strictly ended at 11. pm. It's good that we listened and the situation was corrected. 16.3. P.S. Dear Sarah, thank you again for your attention and wishes. We asked your colleague about the 8th of March vase, but we were told that it was impossible. It is good that there is an electric kettle in the apartment, but unfortunately there are no cups for tea. Coffee cups are not very convenient (especially since the cups in the apartment have very uncomfortable handles). We understand that for Italy and coffee culture, cups are standard, but two large cups or mugs will please your clients, I assure you. ;) We drank coffee in a cafe.

It's a pity that there was no vase for flowers in the apartment and our request was denied. I would have liked to use large mugs for tea. But we bought souvenir mugs in the museum and used them in the apartment. There were no utensils for salad.

2 ladies shared the 2BR/2bth. We were warmly greeted by Sara who explained everything an escorted us to our apartment. The pictures shown on site are accurate. my twins were combined into a King- and the other room - with the view out over the Duomo sq, had the other king. The living area with well equipped kitchenette and seating was great. Very clean on arrival and linens changed every 3-days or more frequently if you want. Very comfortable apartment and the prefect perch for the lighting of Florence's Christmas tree. - see image. Someone is onsite until 7PM and usually at the front desk, where we ere greeted with a smile and welcome every time. Lovely place, wonderful hosts and a solid choice for Florence.

My family stayed at the 2-bedroom apartment with Duomo view. The location is unbeatable (10-min easy walk from train station, right next to the Duomo for people watching and artists appreciation, restaurants downstairs, all major attractions within walkable distances, and more)! Room is huge and very clean! Amenities are nice! Staff at the reception desk were very friendly! Overall it was a superb experience at great value. Highly recommend for anyone who travels to Florence and looks for an unforgettable and convenient location to stay. It is THE option for families! Stay here if it is available.

The property is right next to the gorgeous Duomo. The online photos give an accurate depiction of what you can expect of the actual units. Our unit was spacious and clean. Their complimentary set included coffee, tea, red Tuscan wine, olive oil, vinaigrette, shampoo, body gel, etc. Antonio and Sarah were both polite, friendly, and helpful during our stay. They also allowed us to check-in early.

During the last two days, there were hammering noise of work being done in nearby units. It didn’t bother us too much as they kept it during business hours - around 9AM to 3PM, but the tech work might had caused the WiFi to drop on the last day, not sure what happened. Antonio responded promptly during his off hours and was trying to assist me. No in-unit washer/dryer. They offered off-site laundry service with an extra charge.

Very close to the Duomo and easy walking distance from the train station. It has a lift to help with luggage.

It has a small kitchen with a step which has the potential to be dangerous.

I and my Wife stayed 22 nights at this hotel, I appreciated the good service and attention by Ms. Sarah and Mr. Antonio. Especially for their good recommendations to visit other cities. And their smiley welcome always. How to describe the location: a few meters away from Duomo (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore). Every night I and my Wife watch live opera performances at the square (Piazza del Duomo) from our window at the 3rd floor. And we had a dinner at Eataly Firenze downstairs. The apartment was clean and organized well. I included Antonio's warm picture in this message.

Clean, super convenient location. Easy access to historic Florence, food, walkable and safe. Apartment was large and comfortable. Very friendly and (ultimately) super helpful host at desk. Loved having a little kitchen and eating/ sitting area. Views out the window were perfection -- we were on 4th floor (US) and the duomo is just right there! Eataly is next door, gelato, grocery store, good dining literally right there. Duomo square can be quite noisy until midnight when vendors, street musicians, parties are roaming the streets followed by garbage trucks and other cleaning. All of that is no problem with windows shut and AC on -- although very light sleepers might need the provided ear plugs! Would 100% stay here again!

Our AC wasn't on the first night -- next day our host easily explained but it involved a fuse, switches on each AC unit, and turning on and then setting each unit. Would be great to have those instructions written.

Firstly - Antinio and Sarah - what beautiful, helpful, professional and wonderful hosts ! When we walked into the Michaelangelo Suite we went WOW ! The view of the front of the Duomo was breathtaking and we could almost touch it from our room (well figuratively speaking). The apartment had two large bedrooms and two bathrooms and a lounge/dining/TV room. Beautifully presented and comfortable. YES it is loud at night - but you are right in the middle of the excitement and fun of Florence and walking distance to everything ! And only 20 minutes walk from the train station. And the property has a lift !! The restaurant choice within metres or even 400 metres was outstanding. Florence was brilliant/beautiful - we highly recommend Palazzo Gamba Apartments !! But remember - you are in the centre of it all - so there will be noise :)

Palazzo Gamba Apartments al Duomo is a classic Florentine building that has been standing in the shadow of the Duomo for centuries. So, the location is absolutely perfect. When we opened the very large windows of our apartment, we had a spectacular view of the Duomo, the Baptistry, and all of the activity that takes place in the piazza. While some people might find this location to be too noisy, we thoroughly enjoyed experiencing the festive atmosphere and had no trouble sleeping. Additionally, we could walk to any of the main points of interest in Florence in a matter of minutes. The manager, Antonio, and his assistant, Sarah, could not have been nicer or more accommodating to their guests. The elevator and bathrooms that had to be retrofitted into this old building are small but adequate. The other rooms were very spacious and with the large windows, the apartment had very good ventilation. We enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Gamba Apartments al Duomo and, if we return to Florence, we would stay at this facility again.
