Everything was exceptional from the time we arrive to the time we left. It was luxury with a touch of hominess. There were those special details that we enjoyed!! We can't say enough about our stay at Residence Hilda. We lived in Florence and frequently return because we love the city. This is our most favorite place to stay! The location is the best. It is close to all the attractions and transportation. The staff is wonderful. They care that your stay at Residence Hilda. We can't wait to return!!!

We loved the location- we were doing Florence marathon so being so close to the duomo was great as that’s the start and finish. It’s also a very quiet location. There are some amazing restaurants close by. The suite itself is stunning! It was very warm- heating was much appreciated. It was also so clean! The host was amazing- very welcoming and gave us restaurant recommendations. We ate very well as a result! Thank you so much for a great place to stay!

Literally nothing. No complaints at all

Great location! Great elegant apartment! Everything is new!Very clean! Very safe! Good elevator! Very close to Accademia museum, to Santa Maria del Fiori, to shops, restaurants and big squares… Would definitely stay again! Would definitely recommend it to others!

Nothing negative… just for information: I had to pay 40 more euro for my child to stay, because they said the booking was only for a couple… I thought that I booked for a couple and a kid, like I did at the other properties I booked for the other 5 nights we stayed in Italy… but I guess the misunderstanding was made during booking and not with the property… anyway, there was not a problem… there is also extra city tax that you have to pay which is not included in the price but it was not a problem either…

Excellent location, quiet but close to all the main attractions. A very friendly, efficient and helpful staff, you get a feeling of being welcomed and taken care of by your family. Marzanna, along all the other members of the crew, makes sure that you feel comfortable and at home. The place is very clean, spacious and provides all the comforts necessary for a pleasant stay. I highly recommend this place for your next visit to Florence!

Residence Hilda exceeded all expectations. The apartment was spacious with a little kitchenette and a sofa bed for the third guest. The bedroom was separate so there was privacy. Although we did not use it the kitchenette was well equipped and if we had more time we could easily have made some meals there. The rooms were spotlessly clean and replenished every day. The location was perfect to explore the beautiful city of Firenze. Our hostess was very helpful, welcoming and with tips about what to do and where to eat. I would recommend Residence Hilda without any reservations.

The residence is very roomy, clean , excellently located in the old centrum of the city (the Dome was just at the end of the short street), both Valentina and Marzanna have gone above and beyond to make our stay as pleasurable as could be, also recommending excellent restaurants. Housekeeping was very good and courteous.

We were very sad to have to go home and leave this beautiful city.

We loved the spacious deluxe appartment with excellent fittings and furniture. Everything was top notch, from high quality bedlinen and towels to excellent shower and kitchen facilities. Super to have the dishes washed daily. Valentina welcomed us with details of local shops, restaurants etc and continued to be very solicitous throughout our stay.

Whilst we appreciated the view over the street and the lovely tall windows with Juliet balconies, it proved a little noisy for us. This was the only downside.

Exceptional apartment in a perfect location. 10 mins stroll from the main plaza and close to numerous restaurants and cafes. Small supermarket just down the street. Had lovely breakfast in their recommended cafe too. Communication was great too and cleaned daily which was an unexpected bonus. A wonderful city well worth a visit.

Couldn't find fault.

The location is amazing. We headed to many important museums and the duomo just minutes from the doorstep. The size of the apartment was generous and felt like you were ‘home.’ The building lobby is welcoming and the apartment is clean and ‘smart.’ Great attention to detail and thoughtful staff. We thought there was a washer and dryer but learned that washing was available for $20 Euros. This was quite reasonable with a staff member offering to manage for us. Thank you! The list of restaurants was excellent and we had some of our best meals in Italy from that list. Well done!

The mattress was very firm - actually compact and hard. The pillows were similar. We stuffed the pillow cases with our down jackets to get some neck support. The bed is screaming for a 1 inch memory foam topper.

Staff. location and apartment were all GREAT. Well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room, nice bedroom, great bathroom. Everything worked, water was hot, etc. A little pricey, but worth it.

Requested non-allergenic bedding. When we arrived on a Saturday, we were told they had sent a foam mattress topper out for cleaning - wouldn't be back 'till Monday. We asked for a second comforter to provide a bit of cushioning on an otherwise hard mattress. Pillows were hard as rock - couldn't sleep until I found a couple of foam couch pillows and put them in a pillowcase.
