This apartment was perfect for our night in Lecce- we could have moved in! We were contacted by phone prior to arrival to ensure a smooth check in and there was assistance available throughout if you needed a question answering. The room its self was a suite and the balconies looked out over a square - it was wonderful. We were able to get to all the sights and restaurants within 1 minute on foot- this really was a great find !

We liked everything. A note for other travellers would be to park at the nearby parking and walk to the apartment so as to avoid any issues with the restricted entry zone of the old town. (It isn’t far)

The breakfast was lovely - good choice. A little slow on first day for those of us needing to rush but other days excellent. The service was great and very welcoming - and the location on the roof terrace was marvellous. Would have liked water in the kettle and maybe access to some milk to have made a hot drink of an evening.

We are not great fans of air conditioning and the weather in October was cool enough at night to have the windows open but we did suffer a lot of bites. Otherwise, the only other very small point - as above - concerned water in kettle and access to some milk of an evening; however, to be fair there was a mini bar in the room for cold drinks.

The property was the top floor of a very tastefully renovated palazzo. Our room was a separate suite at the entrance to the B&B so we had our own entrance which was nice and also had access to the B&B for breakfast and any queries. The spacious suite was fabulous with a separate room containing a couch for relaxing. ( I presume it could also be an extra bed) The room was very clean and serviced everyday. The breakfast provided was plentiful and a choice of lots of sweet and savory options , juices, coffees etc. We even got to eat breakfast on the terrace a couples of mornings. The weather was windy so unfortunately it wasn’t possible everyday. The location was excellent, a short walking distance from the train station (which we used for daily trips to other towns) and although it was in a quiet part of the old which we liked it was only a short distance to all the restaurants, bars and other sites.

Unfortunately we had some issues with our air conditioning and even after it was looked at continued to only work intermittently. Also the lowest temperature we could get it to was 23 degrees. As it was May the weather wasn’t too hot but if it had been the height of summer it could have been a bigger issue. Also it is important to remember that some tourists live in cooler climates and are not used to sleeping in hotter temperatures without air conditioning. Also just one suggestion to improve the facilities a coffee machine in the suite would have been welcome or at the very least a kettle.

Charming B&B in the historic center of Lecce! We had a suite which worked perfectly for our family, as our son had a separate sleeping area. The B&B was exceptionally clean and large, with comfy beds and soft towels and linens. The rooftop terrace was charming. Location is great inside the city center and near lots of wonderful restaurants.

Breakfast in the morning took a long time which was odd for a basic continental breakfast. If you are arriving to Lecce by car, be aware that you cannot access this B&B with your car as it is in a restricted zone and parking on the streets closest to the city center can be very difficult.

This B&B was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. Palazzo Marini is in the heart of the old city district so you can walk to all the most sought-after sites.

Be prepared for a lot of stairs leading up to the entrance -- not a problem for many, perhaps, but it was hard to schlep a suitcase up there. Also, I was unclear about how to enter downstairs, though someone helped me figure out the buzzer. The room was comfortable and the view quite beautiful but the only chair in the room was wedged into a spot that required me to move it or climb over it if I wanted to get to the window. Would have loved a little more help looking at a map of the town with the staff. They didn't seem to know how to direct me -- other than that, though, they were kind and attentive.

Palazzo Marini is in the heart of Lecce geographically and culturally. The Palazzo - which was part of an EU- funded project- was beautifully refurbished and proposes a flawless decoration. It is modern but the style of the building was respected. The staff is professional, extremely kind and really goes out of its way to serve you. The big plus is the roof-top terrace where breakfast is served with local specialties.

Bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Location was great. Very quiet. Spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would have been good to be able to use the terrace more. It could get quite windy up there and so the parasols were mostly down,. A fixed structure to provide some shade would be wonderful.

The room was beautiful, loved the facilities (pool and rooftop!) was a great location, easy to get to the town and drive to surrounding towns

The toilet fan, would have loved some ability to have ice / cold water. The breakfast time from 8-10 was tricky some mornings when we needed to get up early to get to towns / flight out.

Very nice staff (thank you again for being so welcoming!), the room was clean, nicely decorated, modern bathroom, the place is perfect to discover the city, and the rooftop very charming!

Fabulous B&B in a perfect location, about 10mins walk from the train station, at the edge of the old town of Lecce. All the staff where extremely helpful and room was very spacious and and decorated to a very high standard. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, I would highly recommend to any one visiting Lecce
