Nice room concept with private indoor large jacuzzi, high cellar, both modern & historical. Warm Welcoming from Gilles & other Reception colleague for departure. We were informed before arrival about parking option: very much appreciated. Great terrace location for tasty Dinner & attentioned Service.

Small Window facing a wall with few day light entering the room. Breakfast buffet is nice but Service shows no noticeable interest for the client to make it right. What a pity in a cosy 12 rooms hotel!

High quality resort. Facilities excellent. Location great. Restaurant food excellent both dinner and breakfast. Outside restaurant location view over Matera outstanding. It was quite expensive however very good value for money. Service was of very high quality except as noted with the restaurant staff.

The only issue we had was with the service at dinner. It was very slow and unresponsive when we requested better service. This detracted from an overall excellent experience.

The Quarry Resort Hotel was superb. The location, facilities and cleanliness all exceeded my expectations but the hotel was made even better by the staff. Every single member of staff was truly superb, I could not fault them whatsoever. The parking arrangements at We Go To parking were excellent too. Very highly recommended!

The bathroom looks like it might need a paint job in a few places, but since it's basically a cave, I don't know if it's even possible to improve it. Regardless, the room is fantastic, decorated superbly.

Located in an 18th century palazzo, lovingly restored, repurposed. A boutique 5 star hotel, with just 12 rooms. Exceptionally high quality, incredibly friendly and an outstanding location. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed in.

The Hotel itself is an adventure, the rooms very different to what you are accustom, its literally a cave within the mountains, the town Matera unbelievable. The personnel all were very friendly and serviceable, definitely will be back.

If you have a walking conditions Matera is not the place for you, lots of hills and steps.

The staff were incredibly nice. They picked me up at the bus station and helped carry my luggage. The hotel location and restaurant are also top.

The Junior Suite was advertised as "Landmark view" on booking but it didn't even have windows. It's understandable given the location, but listing it as having a view is misleading.

Our four night stay at the Quarry could not have been more perfect. From the lovely and beautifully maintained room, the breakfast, the wonderful dinners we experienced, the views, location, and the wonderful staff. In every way the best of the best in Matera. Thank you, Quarry!! Steve and Gayle W

Location was great, staff fantastic, service of arrival and departure great and breakfast top class. The roof terrace for aperitif magnificent, the best spot in the whole of Matera 👍🏻

The rooms are small but have all the necessary amenities and are very tidy and clean.

The hotel has a unique decor, very competent and pleasnt stuff and very original and pleasnt rooms. The restaurant is very good and the breakfast with great variety of local and international food.
