Location is great, breakfast is the best. I've stayed in the old town week before, I chose to stay in Mestre to get the local day to day feeling than in the touristy part. If you're like me on the second part of your accommodation I'd suggest you do the same. Many restaurants nearby. Close to train station to go anywhere and convenient to the airport

Room a little small for 1 queen bed + 1 single bed. Room a bit damp and dark. Not the hotel fault but the airport taxi that the hotel called charged me 40 euros instead to 35Euros as agreed. The driver said it was because the hotel called the taxi not the passenger hailed him on the street. Well it should be lesser as the hotel bring you customer no?

The staff were great. Very helpful and cheerful. Asked for gluten free breakfast and it was super. Very large windows in the room which was a bonus. Room was next to the street but really quiet. The hotel is really close to the railway station and bus route to Venice so location spot on. Found the best Chinese restaurant ever just 2 minutes away. I'd definitely stay there again.

Shower far too small for the normal English person.Only just big enough for a skinny person like me. Bidet needs some attention.

We had an incredibly comfortable stay at Hotel Cris. The room was exceptionally clean, and every day we were provided with fresh towels and the room was tidied up. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. From the very first day, the receptionist took great care of all our needs. She was always open to answering our questions and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. On the last day, as we had an early departure, she even went above and beyond by bringing us our breakfast the day before to ensure we didn't miss it. We would definitely stay at Hotel Cris again and highly recommend it!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Very good location: walking distance from train station; bus stop to get to Venice is just around the corner - it makes the hotel a good choice to avoid expensive hotels in Venice. Silent night. Breakfast is superb: fruits, cold cuts, cereal, different kinds of bread and pastries, yogurt, juices and hot drinks.

The room is extremelly small - there is no space to open a suitcase. The bathroom is ok but the shower box is ridiculously small: if something falls from your hands, it is impossible to pick it up without opening the door! Our room was number 256. It may be a good idea to check if there are different room sizes.

I would like to thank you for the warm welcome, many thanks to the very helpful reception staff. The interior of the hotel and the room is not new, but everything is kept perfectly clean. The hotel is perfectly located, the bus stop is literally a couple of minutes walk away. The breakfast was good.

It would have been nice to have a duvet cover as I think it is unusual for many guests to use a sheet instead of a duvet cover and I was not entirely comfortable. Quite small shower cubicle.

Breakfast was great, provided me all the food groups. The bed was amazing however would have like to have a comforter or a blanket not just a sheet and bed cover which was itchy. I should have asked but was just too tired from traveling. The staff there were great and very helpful. Loved that I could quickly walk to the train station with my luggage.

The towel rack in my room didn't work, but I really didn't need it. Traveling alone I was a bit concerned about the location but I think it is just the neighborhood. The walk before dark was lovely and early in the morning I felt safe. I didn't venture out past dark.

Staff superbly friendly and helpful, room spacious, breakfast pleasant and a wide variety of things to eat and drink, very good location for both visiting Venice (no. 2 bus is actually 2 mins from hotel and 20 mins to Venice). Plenty of good restaurants nearby for dinner

Room is a little basic, but that was expected with the price, facilities to make a hot drink in the room would be much appreciated

Price quality ratio is really good. Very clean room, very comfortable beds and mattress, quiet location, safe area(very safe, nothing sketchy at all). Several restaurants options nearby within 5 minutes walking distance. Big grocery store only 3 minutes away and train station on same street within 6 minutes of walk. Breakfast has ham, cheese, egg, croissants, bread, desserts, fruit juice, coffee, tea, etc. Good enough for a short stay, would suggest to add some sort of salad or veggies( tomato, cucumber, green leaf, etc) if possible. Most impressively, two front desk girls(Anna and Georgia) are both super friendly and able to speak English well. Anna is the one checked us in and out, great hospitality! The breakfast gentleman is super nice too, the other housekeeping lady did nice job as well. There are only 4 staffs in total and 17 rooms in this small hotel and it’s a gem!! If you read their guest book located by the front door, it’s full of love from guests who had stayed here. On top of that, direct bus line No2 stop is 100 meters away and it only cost €1.5 to take you from hotel directly to Venice in about 20 minutes. With half of the island hotel price and 1.5 times of value, I would stay here whenever I make a visit to Venice.

No mini fridge, no kitchen, no microwave. our room( located right behind front desk) shower space is tiny about 60cmx60cm, safety box has no option to be used, no ventilation fan. A little scented smell in the room. But, those are minor concerns for us.

Location is surrounded by many asian food. Bus train access is nice. Not far from the laundry coin facility. The crew are very hospitable and willing to help.

It is a historical building so no elevator. Better not to bring heavy luggage and make sure you are ok to carry them up. We also had an early breakfast the lady was very welcome and it was her Idea since we need to go with early train but not the guy who's preparing the food. Along our early breakfast, the guys grin and our angst is truly colided. Very uncomfortable.

The hotel is located about 20 minutes by bus from Venice central. It is a beautiful building with very nice details. The room was small but very clean and comfortalble. The staff was excellent and made the stay very pleasant. There are some great restaurants in the area, but like any destination, it's important to be aware of your surroundings.

The room I was assigned was small, but I was traveling solo so it wasn't a problem. I was also there primarily to sleep since most of my time was in Venice central touring.
