February 2024
It has good location, really quite close to the central train station (walkable distance). A great thing about it is that I could easily check in after midnight, the host was very understanding. Interior design is quite charming and romantic, the entire house is full of books (but obviously only in Italian). We had a private room and its bathroom was huge. It was February outside and the room was reasonably warm. The double bed and extra bed were both comfortable (although they had obviously seen much use before), with decent size pillows. The house was very quiet.
I have two complaints: * there was only one available electrical socket - and that was in the bathroom. The bedroom sockets were filled with cables from the TV and had a warning not to remove those. * the towels smelled of mold, they need a hot wash and good drying. Overall it's a very nice hostel and I would recommend it to other travellers.

Everything was okay, they have nets on the window which helps against the numerous mosquitos. Stuff was ready to help. One of the big advantages is an elevator. I think there is a need to put a curtain also at the bottom of the bed, cuz the phone light of the opposite person just in front of your eyes in the dark.
It was too hot on the upper bed, AC was set to 24 and was blowing down, and they don't give the remote of AC.

Beds were comfortable and had curtains. Provided lockers with keys and overall it was quite clean and had ac in the room which made it a bit better. Staff was really friendly and helpful
Location was good but the walk from the train station at night didn’t feel safe at all. Online it said they provided adapters but when asked they said they don’t, thankfully had a bit of charge in my power bank otherwise would be without phone charge

The receptionist guy was very friendly and helpful. Stayed a bit longer for my check in because the train got delayed. I really appreciate that. The kitchen was my favourite. Had privacy, I enjoyed cooking and spending my time there as no one else used in much. It was neat and equipped with the necessary items.. The bed has curtains but is kinda translucent and makes noise when slides. Has lockers under bed.
The AC on the first night was off. Don't know if it was checked or not. The next day I reported and it was ON. So we had to keep the windows open for some fresh air but it was very noisy outside. Has a very tiny lift. For just one person. And small luggage. The location is closer to milano centrale but still it's a bit of a walk and the pavement is not very good. The Area at night is a bit uncomfortable to walk alone. Looks like illegal Immigrants live there and could possibly mug you or stop you. So it doesn't give a good vibe. But the hostel vibe is safe with no issues. The reception is not 24 hours.

Beautiful building and well decorated. The female room was really Beautiful and each bed was very private because of curtains. The bed was made when I arrived. Air conditioning available and the staff offered to turn it on before I returned from dinner so I could arrive in a cooler room ( I went there in very warm summer). The room had a lot of hangers, making it easy to organize my stuff. There was lamp, power socked and USB next to my bed, as well as a small shelf. The bathroom was big and lots of hangers. The staff was very helpful and attentive. They recomended a very nice restaurant near by. Definitely recomend and would stay there again.
The shower had a minor problem that was adresses to them and they promised to fix.but I arrived at 21:00 and left before 8 am.

Adorable place, I really liked it. I particularly liked the classic Italian interior design and the old romantic building vibe. Stayed in a 4-bed women's dorm, really appreciated the curtains for each bed and the lockable bag deposit place under the bed. The room was facing the street, so earplugs are recommended for light sleepers. Nice little garden in the back of the house. The host was flexible with my nighttime arrival and provided instructions how to get in. Good location near the Central Station, nice market square 2 mins away.
The only thing which might prove an issue in the summer - no A/C, at least not in this room, so have to keep the window open.

Having traveled to Milan a number of times, I can now safely say with certainty that I finally found my "nest" for all future visits to Milan. The location is absolutely ideal since the hostel lies a brief five-minute walk from Milano Centrale and not to mention that buses #60 and #81 stop within meters of the front door. The bunk beds are very comfortable with respect to size and the clearance between the stacked beds is also very good and where you will save your head from bumps which characterize many other hostels. The premises are superbly clean as is the case with the private bathroom in each room. Despite of its very central location, I never experienced the slightest problem with possible noise at night from the neighbourhood or the street during my four-day stay. With respect to food, there are many local establishments with Middle Eastern cuisine and which is a delight in itself. I did not test the WiFi since I have free roaming within the EU being an EU citizen.
Nothing negative to report!

I stayed here just reading the comments on Booking, without knowing that here on Google maps they are very bad. Either they took measures, which I congratulate them on, or I was lucky to be fine! The bed, the room and the bathroom were very clean. Quite far from the center but I needed to the train station very early so it was perfect. The guy at the reception very helpful, even though I kept asking Booking to check me in earlier, they still didn't accept me, even though there were many empty beds (I doubt that it was all full the day before me). Although check-in was at 3:00 p.m., they told me to come after 3:30 p.m. Strange! In the end, overall was fine!

I loved this place. The whole furniture is vintage style and you get it even in your room. There are books everywhere, and two communal spaces, one in the lobby and another one on the first floor. You can get a tea for free, find your own space, relax and read. I was in a 4-bed room with private bathroom. It was spacious, beds were comfortable and still, with the curtain for privacy. The private bathroom was spacious. They don't do breakfast, but have a kitchen which is very useful. It's very close to the central station, less than 10 mins walk, but also in walking distance from corso Buenos Aires, the shopping area, and Porta Venezia with all the bars and restaurants. I was here for a night but I would stay for more nights. 40€ is a bit much for a hostel, but it's becoming the average price in Milan and I felt this hostel provided me with the right comfort for this price.
In my room the water of the shower was not flowing much, but it was enough to have a shower. Anyway, on the first floor there is also another shower you can use.

The people were welcoming and assisted well during check-in. The property was clean and looked/felt like a standard european home. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. Hostel beds had large lockers, so I didn't have to worry about luggage. I also really liked that each hostel bed had a curtain for itself. I had to leave early morning and therefore had to pack and switch on the lights. But the curtains ensures others are not disturbed.
A more visible board would be better. Although I was just outside the property, it is a little difficult to spot. Hot water was not available when I visited. Had bulky room keys - one for the property, one for the room and one for your locker. The plug point is right behind the bed where your head would go if you were upright. That could've been positioned better. It isn't a deal breaker, but just putting it out in case they decide on a renovation in future.
