I normally book The heart hotel when I go to Milan for work as the location it's just perfect, next to the hotel there is small supermarket should you need to buy anything, a lovely patisserie for a real Italian breakfast and there is a small pedestrian road full of restaurants with different choices of food

Some rooms can be a bit dark

Whether I needed directions, restaurant recommendations, or any other assistance, the staff was always ready with a smile and helpful advice, making my visit to Milan even more enjoyable. A modern hotel with great design in a great location, some 20-minute walk from the Duomo and 15-minute walk from the Central Railway Station. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Great value for money. All the staff were nice and friendly, but I would especially single out the late night receptionist who welcomed us in the middle of the night and gave us all the info in perfect English. He was super kind and friendly. The area is residential, so quiet and safe. There is a range of eateries and restaurants along with a great tradition pasticceria serving coffee close to the hotel as well as a big grocery store. A great choice for the accommodation in central Milan.

Even though this is a 4-star hotel, I expected them to offer a pair of disposable slippers.

Not much

The hotel and rooms were clean and well designed. The staff were friendly and accomodating, particularly the gentleman at the espresso bar during breakfast. The location of the hotel is ideal and close to a number of train station and tram stops. The overall experience was very good.

The breakfast was not bad, but a little pricy for the generic food offered and certain drinks were not included and charged for in the breakfast. Upon checking out I was asked to pay an outstanding sum that was not correct, but the staff reviewed it, changed it and apologised for the confusion.

The location is very good. Easily accessible from the airport. The fact that there is a 24/7 supermarket just next door, is just so convenient! The room was nicely designed and there was plenty of light. It was easy to reach all attractions on foot as well.

The design of the "bathroom" gives zero privacy. The first day we did not receive all amenities (half the needed towels and shower amenities). Unfortunately there is minimal sound proofing. We could hear clearly the people walking outside our room, which was annoying during night time, especially for people who are light sleepers. I do not want to imagine how loud it can be in the front side of the hotel, with the tram passing just in front. Also there was no indication that the items in the mini fridge are not for free or what is the price per item.

Great stuff, great location

Staff were very friendly and always welcoming . Felt very safe having staff there 24/7 , whenever you leave or return they always greet you with a smile . Hotel is very close to the metro which takes you to all main parts of Milano . Other benefits are the 24hr supermarket down stairs and there is also a cute cafe next door for coffee and pastry in the morning

Only down fall would be the shower , I think it would be a lot better with a door rather then a curtain as the floor gets very wet & the lighting in the bedroom is very dark

The hotel was modern and quirky. it was in a great location and very clean. The staff couldn’t do enough for us during the stay, they got us extra pillows and sorted us an iron to use during the Stay. The location is great, we walked to the main cathedral square but it is also easy to use public transport, with a tram and two subway stops just a short walk away. Next door to the hotel is a 24 hour supermarket which js great for getting water, drinks and snacks.

we loved everything about our stay, the only thing that we thought would help would be a few more hangers or hooks to hang coats etc up. But it really wouldn’t stop us staying time and time again. It is a really fantastic hotel.
