The location worked for us perfectly, quick access to all transport routes giving maximum flexibility to explore Milan and jump on train to Como. The continental breakfast was on the basic side but fantastic to be included. Being opposite a great food market was fantastic as gave us great options on the door stop after long days exploring and everyone at the market was super friendly!

Bed too hard for me, but Husband loved it! As others have said don’t be put off by the lift……but why the hotels don't group together and tidy it makes no sense.

The location was across the street from the central train station so that was convenient since we needed to catch trains to Lake Como and back and then to Florence. Inside the train station was a food market with lots of choices. We tried some of the food from there and there was all very good. The room itself was clean, the beds were comfortable the bathroom was well stocked. In the morning there was a little buffet breakfast which we enjoyed. The staff we encountered were helpful. Even though the location is in a busy area, having the windows shut kept the room quiet, so there were no issues with noise.

Their staff were fantastic and very accommodating. We asked for a very early check-in, which was granted with a short wait. Folen is very close to the central Milan train station (100m)...easy for train transfers and Milan-Linate airports, with shuttles and taxis outside the hotel for the latter. The rooms and lobby were very clean and modern, seemingly recently renovated. The front desk is very charming, as was breakfast, making relaxing coffees, cappuccinos, mixed drinks, etc., in their cozy lobby. The air conditioning (the August days were very hot and humid) is outstanding! Don't let the hotel's entrance fool you...this is an excellent hotel with reputable eateries nearby.

The shower was a bit small, but functionally modern.

Location was brilliant. Straight across from the station, which was handy. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were helpful.

Street signage could be improved and a note in the instructions to ring their bell would be helpful.

It was great for what we needed. For the price and location, you can't fault it. The central station is opposite, and the hop on hop off bus stop is very close. We travelled all over Milan with very little effort. The fact that the hotel is the 5th floor only of a building was quirky. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was OK but not brilliant - for example, once the fresh croissants and fresh products had run out, they were not replenished. So if you wanted to breakfast later, you lost out. But there were plenty of other foods, just not what we could eat. I did ask about getting more and was given packet ones. It's just a small gripe about an otherwise good stay.

Amazing staff, they were all very professional and went the extra mile to help with suggestions and recommendations. All the small touches, e.g., I arrived very early in the morning and left my luggage, as my room wasn't ready yet, and when I arrived later in the day to check in my luggage was conveniently waiting for me in my room. 24h check in, great location for exploring the city, all the facilities, early check-in, late check out (if possible), very good breakfast, amazing value for money. Highly recommend!

I personally didn't have any issues with the elevator. I have to think hard just to point out some minor issues, and it's nothing that can't be fixed - the shower head in the bathroom had a bit of a lower water pressure, but it wasn't too bad. The AC was a bit loud, but this is very nit-picky. Overall, there is nothing to really complain about!

The Hotel is very conveniently located ( 5 min walk from the train station). The room small but very clean. It is good option for a short stay.

If you have to leave before 7 am, you will not be able to have a breakfast ( just to take something out).
