great location, very nice room, I was there with my family and we booked two rooms. They were supposed to be same size but eventually our was pretty small, smaller than should have been. Anyway the room was comfortable.

A really wonderful staff who made us feel very welcome. In particular, Barbara on reception was exceptional and so helpful. The ladies who cleaned our rooms were also brilliant as were the breakfast staff.

I had great trouble with my room key card that kept malfunctioning. However, this irritation did not spoil a fantastic stay at this wonderfully situated hotel.

Location is excellent for exploring the old districts of Napoli, with key streets a short walk away. The MANN is about 10-15 minutes, train station is a short taxi journey (walkable without luggage) and the harbour for ferries to the Amalfi coast an easy 20 minute walk. Using the local rail line got us to Herculaneum in easy fashion. 50m away is Via San Biagio which is a street with a good vibe where you can easily find aperitivi; try the area around Piazza San Domenico. The hotel is comfortable. Our room was a decent size and the bathroom had good fittings. Both rooms were very clean. Finally, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely book to stay here again.

Be aware that Napoli is a noisy city and in parts can be quite dirty. Personally I loved the experience but forewarned is forearmed. Just be mindful of those scooters !

Beautifully restored palazzo located just one block from one of the major pedestrian streets in the middle of old Naples. The staff was amazingly helpful making restaurant recommendations and reservations, getting us taxis, and giving general advice. The rooms were large, elegant and comfortable (especially the bed!). Comparable to a top Four Seasons hotel room. Great value.

Perhaps the only downside was the presence of a few homeless people who slept on marble benches outside the hotel sometimes. But, as the kind hotel clerk pointed out, this is a feature of many big cities and compassion may be in order. There is a homeless shelter nearby, but that is definitely not an issue nor a downside to this beautiful hotel!

Incredibly well-located, really helpful and quick staff, super clean, comfortable, felt safe, good wifi, big room, amazing breakfast (def recommend, I loved it) and would absolutely stay there again!

Could increase the number of sockets in the rooms, especially close to the beds and could add a “don’t disturb/don’t need to clean the room” sign to be attached to the doorknob. Not things I didn’t like though, just suggestions. It was a lovely stay!

I stayed at APD from April 27 to April 30, 2023. The hotel and the room I stayed in were outstanding. Very clean and spacious. Great bathroom and shower. The staff members were extremely nice and helpful. This was my first time in Naples, but the location seemed to me to be centrally located. It's also not far from the Bay, where you can catch boat shuttles to Capri and the Amalfi Coast.

They don't run air conditioning in the rooms until at least May, even though they have the AC running in all of the common areas. This was a significant inconvenience for me. When I opened the windows, flies/bugs entered my room.

Spacious and modern, well appointed, rooms, good size bathroom. Reasonable walking distance to all shops and many restaurants and bars

Patchy wifi. Hotel had policy of turning off air conditioning in October, however, as it was unseasonably warm, room was extremely hot and uncomfortable for sleeping.

The location was in the Centro Storico area of Naples, just off one of the main streets of the district. There were several attractions near-by such as the Duomo, and even the archeological museum was within walking distance. The main train station was also within walking distance (provided one doesn't have alot of luggage). The room was pleasant and clean. Breakfast was very good - with plenty of variety.

The Centro Storico district has lots of very narrow streets, which is part of its charm, but there is also alot of graffiti, and not always very clean. The room was slightly on the small side, and didn't have a view (just a view of a concrete wall). The noise insulation was not good between rooms (or perhaps we had very noisy neighbors). The wi-fi wasn't always good. There wasn't any wifi in the room until I asked, and they reset it on our floor. Then it was OK.

Hotel was in a great location not far from the Duomo metro stop and near Spaccanapoli and Via Tribunali with many restaurants and shops. Our room was good sized with plenty of space for 2 suitcases. The bathroom was large with a huge walk in shower, rain shower head and plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable. There was no in room coffee maker or kettle but room included a very good breakfast with many selections. Front desk and breakfast servers were very friendly and helpful.

Could use an extra outlet in room for charging devices but we had an adapter with multiple USB ports.

Location is great. Every touristic spot is just couple of minutes away. Very clean room. Nice staff.

Internet was really bad. Even you have good signal in the room all the time, connection is not stable. Communication stops at all devices for 1 minute in every 10 minutes. It was disturbing. And cell phone signal is also week in the location. So you just get disconnected and wait for a while.
