After having so many issues with a previous property, we decided to book somewhere new last minute and ended up being so delighted with our decision. Borbo de Charme is in an excellent location in a side road from the main road but still quiet. The Amalfi room was gorgeous and had lots of natural light which is something I really value when going away. The bed was comfy, the shower and whole room was clean and the air con was fantastic. Literally just to the side of the main building door is a lovely bar which is open till late - the people who work there are so friendly - and there is also a mini market open till late so very convenient. Honestly this accommodation saved our Naples visit for me, the staff were lovely and everything was done from a distance.

We loved how spacious the room was and how accomodating the staff were. The location of the property is fantastic! So close to everything! The doors were fully sound proof so you could open them up to hear the hustle and bustle of the Naples streets or close them up and night to sleep peacefully!

The bed was quite hard (which I usually wouldn’t mind- however I am travelling pregnant). But that is seriously it- everything else was great value for money!

Location is brilliant - in the heart of Quartieri Spagnoli, just off Via Toledo. Lots of great restaurants, bars and pasticceria within walking distance. Our room (Vesuvio) had a balcony that looked out over the street below, which gives a great perspective on the area. The owner kept in touch before and during the stay which was really helpful, and was accommodating at letting us leave our luggage there on the last day.

When we arrived, there were a few hairs in the bathroom, on the bed and on some surfaces. That was a little off-putting to start with, but generally everything else felt clean. One other small thing: some coffee in the room would have been nice.

Wi-Fi did not work for the first 2-3 days of our stay and there is not much connection without Wi-Fi in the room. But we got good service and they fixed it finally for our last days.

Good: - historical (1700..) building. - high floor (3), with cosy elevator and pictureque street view. - in the middle of life, still not noisy - 20 meters from main old town business street. - few steps from metro, funicolar, which takes you uphill - shops, restaurants etc around. Thousands.... - enormous walking area possibilities in surrounding picturesque old town - safe area. I could send out my 12 year old girl in the middle of night. Nothing to worry about! Really! - excellent interior design! Not talking about high ceilings, superhigh windows and marvellous lamp. - very practical and thought through room, functional. - cheap for such location - Good TV, wifi, coffe/tea maker, hairdryer, minisafe, big closet, really soft linen, warm blanket, pillow and blanket both natural, nowadays heating/cooling system, functional locking. - cosy lobby/library with leather sofas. I will revisit next time for sure!

The location was great, next to a main thoroughfare but extremely quiet once inside. The room was huge with plenty of space for getting ready and a nice bathroom. Fantastic value for money.

No iron/ironing board, paying the city tax separately was a faff.

No coffee in the room, we are in Italy after all🙃 A small espresso machine with some capsules is a must a think. No iron and no one at the reception at any time. So it's more like a rented apartment than a hotel

A very nice place in the heart of the Spanish Quarters in Naples! 5 minutes walking distance from the metro station, shop, restaurants outside of the b&b, easy communication with Ludovica, clean rooms, nice bathrooms! Vesuvio room was really great! There’s much freedom so you have your keys and enter anytime. Thank you! Grazie

no staff there which is a little strange but we didn’t mind too much. lots of noise coming from outside, constant barking dog made it a little difficult to sleep as well as some construction
