After reading other reviews we were apprehensive. However our room was recently refurbished, and our room did match the pictures that are supplied by the hotel. We had no problems with the room at all. Breakfast was a mixture of Italian savory with more international breakfast foods. While the hotel provided a safe, it was only large enough for passports and cash. If you had anything else larger than a smart phone it would not fit in the safe. The hotel is being refurbished, and building work starts promptly at 8.30 am every day except Sunday. But whenever we returned to the hotel, the building work was completed for the day. There is nothing the hotel can do about the street they are in, I would complain to the authorities to have the street cleaned more often. The hotel supplied toiletries and topped them up every day. Kettle in the room looked new. Our room had 3 USB, and 3 USB-C charging points so less need for plugs and adapters

These are things the hotel could do to make the stay even better The Wifi was poor. We were only on the 3rd floor and the wifi signal kept on cutting out. The best signal we had for wifi was in the breakfast room. The cooked breakfast, this could have been been placed on a hot plate to keep it warm.

I chose the room based on principle of proximity to Naples railway station and price. I read the reviews and prepared myself for the worst. What was my surprise when I got to the room! The room not only exceeded my expectations, it was on the list of the most comfortable hotel rooms in recent times. The negative reviews are absolutely incomprehensible. The cleanliness of the room was perfect, the newest furniture and bathroom fixtures, modern air conditioning, hygiene kits in the bathroom. Breakfast is just super for this money - omelette, various cuts, fruit, vegetables, yoghurt, sweets. We were incredibly satisfied with the hotel and the staff. Absolutely recommended!!!

Everything was perfect!

I did enjoy my staying in hotel dei mille. It was at a convenient location to visit Naples and suburbs being near to the central station as well as the metro. The rooms in the renovated part of the hotel are very comfy and extraordinarily new and clean. A great discover, made pleasant by the very well trained personnel we have found. Particularly I want to thank Emanuele at the reception. Without your help our staying would not have been so enjoyable. As well, the Elena and Angela at the breakfast room have been amazing. I think I never had a supertasty parmigiana like the one you prepared.

The old part of the hotel looks a bit run down, so I suggest to ask when you book where the room you have picked is going to be located.

Excellent stay even just for a night. we really appreciate the beautiful room they gave us. receptionist guy at night was very helpful and we had a great service. Breakfast was great and you can choose from different cold cuts, eggs and variety of bread. Choices of juices and coffee. The location is less than 5 minutes walk from central station. Neighborhood seems scary but it is definitely Not. You have nothing to worry. Full of restaurants in the area.

Nothing... all is well

The location was great for arriving to Naples and for moving around to other places. The area isn't the prettiest, but we never felt unsafe. The staff was great. Angela and Elena who worked the breakfast service were amazing, the best way to start your day, chatting with them and getting local tips. Overall great experience.

We did enjoy our holiday. Was very nice hotel with nice staff. Delicious breakfast, They worked there very nice people thank you reception and two ladies from the breakfast and two ladies from the housekeeping.

The internet and elevator need to improve.

location is best and staff was so helpful and the best thing fresh and perfect breakfast if you want to eat then don't wait.

Good location, very close to Naples central station, excellent hotel structure (despite renovations taking place). Excellent breakfast and super attentive staff, especially the breakfast and housekeeping girls.

Wi-fi wasn't stable in our room.

The hotel is old and could use a refurbishment, but everything was as clean as it could be and the staff is really friendly. If you're planning on going to Vesuvius and Pompeii or other places by train, the location is perfect + the metro is 2min away

The walls were dirty and the furniture pretty old, there is rust in the bathroom, etc.

The property is very clean and good all the stuff is new, also the location is very good and close to the train station. The breakfast is perfect is have everything.

The neighbour,the street is not clean and this 30 meter walking to the hotel is very scary.
