Clean and modern room, nicely decorated, with all the necessary facilities. Very close to the cathedral, easy access to the other major sights in Palermo. Great staff, excellent coffee. Nice present when leaving the place.

The Wi-Fi does not function. Poor breakfast. In fact it is not breakfast, but colazzione. You have only cakes, yogurt and water/juice. The worst part is that you have to ask for everything: give me one sandwich, give me some water, can I have a piece of cake and so on... It makes you feel like begging when in fact you paid a lot of money... It is the first restaurant where you are not allowed to take what you want to eat/drink...

Don't know if we had luck with the neighbors but our room was pretty quiet. The location is amazing. Close to everything but quiet. It was a nice spacious room on the top floor with a cute rooftop balcony. Furniture was a bit broken here and there but the room itself was cozy. We really liked it. The staff was nice and helpful

The breakfast has a wide variety of sweet options, and less salty/heathy options. It's also a bit weird that there is a buffet, but you have to ask the staff to bring it to you.

We were thrilled to stay and spend 7 nights at Federico Secondo. We got an apartment instead of double room were originally booked. The team members are so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was always fresh and canteen has a great vibe. I’d like to recommend this B&B for everyone and not only because of great location: 5-15 mins by walk for old town and main attractions. The location was ideal and within walking distance of most interesting places in Palermo The staff was friendly and understanding of our concerns

I had a problem with the shower because it had mold and not the kind of clean I wanted but the owner changed my room the next day and the other room was very spacious and clean. He had misunderstood my concerns about the shower but we were able to resolve it amicably.

In town, close to everything. Loved the balcony to see views of back street. Friendly employees, went out of their way to help you, calling cabs, etc.

Only wished there could of been a choice of hard boiled eggs for breakfast and more of fresh fruit. I know cold cuts in the AM are a staple in Italy for protein, but having eggs would of helped with the same pastries every day.

Breakfast was great, host very friendly and welcoming (it was 40+ degrees outside and we got immediately offered fresh water once we arrived). The balcony view was really typical italian and romantic :)

The air conditioner in the parents room worked weirdly. It was not comfortable to sleep in front of it, while it was working. It was not up the wall, but straight next to the bed, in middle of the wall.

the property is well located in the heart of the city, so close to basically all main historic sites. the room was well presented and clean. our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and more than enough space for two people. late self check in was fine and no issues with finding the place and using the code provide by the host to enter. breakfast is great and both Vincenzo’s sister and Signora Rita make good cappuccino but the best are the fresh croissants ( pistachio my favourite) and the cannoli made with fresh ricotta, the cakes are fantastic as well I tried the orange sponge and the strawberry crostata. they also offer fresh fruit and yogurt and cereals and juices. some savoury also available like ham and cheese toastie. Vincenzo has been polite and both him and his sister provided us with recommendations on restaurants to eat and tips on visiting the area. there is a lift for rooms on 1st and second floor. would certainly recommend this place.

cannot fault this place at all. cannot think of anything negative! only recommendation is that it is so central it is inside a ZTL area ( limited traffic access) which has a daily charge but as it is right at the border of the area, there are plenty of parking spaces which are just outside of it and free ( white lines ) within 5-10 min walk from the B&B so parking was never a problem.

Good location for exploring Palermo on foot. Walking distance to cathedral, markets, dining, nightlife, etc. Spacious room and bathroom. Quiet with interior window facing a courtyard. Easy check in. Small elevator on the property. Nice breakfast with plenty of cakes and fresh fruit. Thank you Emanuela!

The location is great! The cathedral of Palermo is just around the corner as are also other main attractions in the historic center. Also the bus station to go visit the Mondello Beach is nearby. Breakfast was very good, with a selection of homemade, organic cakes, toast, fresh cheese platters, vegetables, fruits, cereal, yoghurt. The room was very clean and had AC ☺️

Everything was great!

We had a really spacious suite with bedroom , bathroom and an additional small bedroom. The managers were very warm and helpful especially Emmanuella . The location was superb , 5 minutes walk to Palermo cathedral .

It was a very new entry after renovation and the walls were bare , A few pictures would give a warmer feeling and I am sure it would be done in due course.
