We had a lovely stay. The host was great at communicating via whatsapp and was very welcoming. The room was well equipped and there was also a little stock room with things we might have forgotten that we could borrow. The location was really good. The breakfast at the local café was also really nice and the staff there were lovely too. We would definitely consider staying here again if we returned to Pisa.

Just a warning that were a lot of mosquitos so we had to keep the window closed or they just kept coming in.

The accommodation was excellent. Luisa is a good communicator and kindly allowed us to store our luggage prior to check-in and after check-out. The renovation of the property is well done and she has incorporated a (complimentary) tea/coffee station for all guests. We were in room 4 which is spacious, has multiple windows which, when closed, block any noise. The en suite facility is well laid out and all linens and towels are superior quality. Our entire room was spotlessly clean. The location of the b&b is just off Pza Cavalieri, which is one of the most attractive and interesting areas of Pisa in my opinion. There are plenty very good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this b&b.

Chosen because of the location - just 30 seconds from the Scuola Normale (visiting our son there). Excellent communications throughout - bonus discovery was that the described breakfast toast was in fact a toasted sandwich. Waitress at the breakfast bar humoured our attempts to try out our Italian on her. Only 5 minutes from the tower, 5 minutes from the river, really quiet at night, couldn't fault it.

Nothing. Everything was great and as expected. Maybe a second key card if one of us wanted to explore and leave the other to do their thing

Louisa was so accommodating throughout our stay and prior. I asked for some wine to be put in the room for my partners birthday, and she did this without hesitation. The room was in a brilliant location and within walking distance of all landmarks including the train station. The room was very clean and stylish. An amazing host and beautiful room would definitely recommend.

Due to no fault of the hosts I came away with many many mosquito bites. I would highly recommend bringing mosquito repellent if visiting this time of year. Host was apologetic even though it was out of their control.

Located in the oldest part of Pisa, and only a 20 minutes’ walk from the train station, this apartment has been split into several separate rooms, each decorated wonderfully with bright modern bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The location is very close to restaurants and bars, but in a quiet street away from most of the tourists. We had vouchers for breakfast in a café with a small garden, which was a very short distance away. There were a selection of breakfast options including fantastic pastries (see photograph). Luisa also kindly arranged a terrific guided tour of Pisa for us and the messages we received about keys, etc. was also excellent. Based on the number of thankyou notes on the back of the main apartment door La Lu rooms obviously have many very happy customers and after our visit they have four more.

Room was really clean and good size, the en-suit was ok for me but the toilet might have been a bit uncomfortable for a tall person ( 180cm+). Very easy check-in, you can even leave your suitcases before check-in which was really helpful. Hotel is very close to all the touristy sites and it’s only 15-20 min walk from the train station. Just a general tip ( nothing to do with the hotel): pack your Mozzi spray, there are horrible mosquitos every where in Tuscany

Prefer to have a kettle in the room

The room and the building were clean, comfortable beds, room had a big window, bedside tables and a small bathroom/shower.

The 2 flights of marble stairs going up to the floor level. Lugging up 50 + pounds of luggage was not fun! I would definitely not recommend for those who are handicapped or elderly, unless you are in great shape and a weight lifter. The bathroom was small, too, especially the shower. If you are obese, definitely do not stay here. Otherwise, we managed!

The communication was proactive and very clear. The B&B has self check-in, but you receive very clear instructions. The room was compact (small, but very comfortable) with very comfortable beds. The size could be a challenge for a longer stay (I guess 3 + nights) or if you have a lot of big suitecases. The location is very central. Even though it was central, with a closed windows you are not bothered with noise (the room had A/C). There was a water machine, tea, coffee and complimentary light snacks. The breakfast is simple (toast or pastry + juice + 1 hot drink) but tasty in a nearby cafe. The only challange could be a waiting time closer to 10, as the cafe can get quite busy.

Super cute B&B right in the heart of the city. Room was tastefully decorated with small details, which made it feel like home away from home. Just a 7 minute walk from the Leaning Tower! Made it easy to explore there early in the morning before the crowds arrived. Self check in was easy, with detailed WhatsApp instructions sent by the host. Appreciated the water machine by the entrance with cold water!

Bed was a bit hard for me, but of course this is personal liking. My partner thought it was perfect firmness.

La Lu cozy rooms 2 enjoys a wonderful position in central Pisa. It's right at the back of Piazza dei Cavalieri and although there is an area with several restaurant s nearby, the room and road behind the window remains silent. The rooms have been recently refurbished, all is new and clean. I appreciated the complimentary sodas in the room minibar and the opportunity to have a pass for the ZTL, which allows to get by car at the room entrance.

The room is somewhat small and the bathroom as well, although all was perfect and cared of. The breakfast is at a nearby bar, where you have tickets for hot beverage (e.g. cappuccino), sweet snack (e.g. cornetto) and a drink (juice or water). It is a very nice and clean bar with inside garden. Very nice in summer, may be less so in winter in case you have to come back to the room. The check in was, as correctly reported in the B&B description, a self check-in managed through WhatsApp messages and codes. Everything was ok, but a bit of human touch is better for me.
