The location is perfect. A ten minute walk from the train station, and about 20 minutes on foot from the Tower. It's on a pedestrian street, with a beautiful piazza just around the corner, where you can eat in a wide choice of restaurants and bars. We had the junior suite which is so beautifully decorated and furnished. The hosts were friendly. They recommended the piazza nearby for dinner. They kept our luggage for us while we did a bit of sightseeing. I would certainly stay here again.

If you stay in an old building you must be prepared to climb stairs! I'm just adding that to warn anyone with mobility issues. The bathroom is a bit tight, but it's an old building!

Wow. The room we were given was amazing. Beautifully painted ceiling which must have dated from the 1700s. The original tiles on the floor were beautiful, even though one or two were lose. The hotel is dated but that’s how it should be. It’s like staying in an Italian, nobleman’s house in 1750. There a tapestries on the wall that should be in a museum, but they’re in your bedroom. Some of the reviews say it needs a clean and an update, utter rubbish. As we were leaning, the owners wife was scrubbing the original tiled staircase. This is not a dirty hotel, it’s just very old. The hosts are wonderful, very welcoming, helpful and they clearly love their building. If you want luxury, stay at the Hilton. If you want tradition and friendliness, stay here.

The location was excellent with easy access to the local shops, bars, restaurants and sites. Arriving early we were allowed to leave our luggage while the room was prepared. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The building was very traditional (no lift) and we were on the top floor. The staff carried our luggage to our room awaiting our return. Breakfast was full of choices and we had an early meal as we had a very early flight. They arranged a taxi for us without any fuss. A great stay.

No elevator but we didn't have too much of a problem, especially as the concierge put our heavy luggage in our room. We would return if visiting this part of Italy in the future.

We only stayed for one night but would have loved to stay longer. Beautiful old room aged with dignity, decorated with attention to detail, period features from the furniture to the lamps to the curtains. How nice that something like this continues to be preserved and is not brutally renovated, in our fast-moving times that otherwise so often only focus on practicality, functionality and cheap disposable objects. The room was heated and clean, the window opened to the main street (pedestrian zone) so you could let in the sun and chatter from the street. Friendly staff who made it possible to check in earlier, depositing luggage was no problem. Communication was smooth as there is an actual person sitting at a reception desk, another thing that has become rare. Thank you, everything was fine, will be back :)

Exceeded our expectations! Very traditional Italian house, with antique furniture and a grand entrance hallway. The room had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, we had a minifridge to store water and a coffee machine with pods. We were only there for one night, but for the price and location it was very good value and we had a great stay! The staff were really lovely and accommodating.

The furniture was very traditional, so felt a little old fashioned in the bathroom, but that is the style of the hotel, so really is in keeping with the traditional aesthetic. There wasn't anything negative we could say really, it exceeded our expectations!

Perfect location - 6 minute walk from the train station, 12 from the airport (Pismover), 15 minutes walk to the Tower. Great shopping. Family atmosphere, caring, friendly staff, great breakfast. Clean spaces, sheets, even though the place is generally warn out.

Crazy noise from the high street - all night long, morning even worse with cleaning and the crowd rushing to work. Tricky check in. Guests confused how to entre (code to the main door is needed but you get it once you check in). The notice says that cash is required as on-line system MAY not work... No wi-fi!

Key location close to the train station and the Pisa sights. Plenty of food and drink plus shopping directly outside or within the area. Breakfast had a good selection however tight with small tables and little room between. On the high street for Shops The rooms were fantastic with period features, quirky decor and rustic doors, windows, fixtures and fittings etc. Check in and communication was great.

Slight bit of noise from the high street and some people in the street, although this could not really be controlled by the host or hotel. No lift lots of stairs. do bear this in mind. Was ok for us.

Very convenient location on the central street - pedestrian street. Good breakfast with ham, coffee, warm croissants, etc. Tea cattle in the room. Enough space in the shower room, a good water pressure. Despite 36 degrees Celsius on the street the conditions in the room were very comfortable. Very friendly staff.

The internet is not so fast as it used to be in Latvia.

Excellent location in the pedestrian area (walking distance from the train station). All what is you need: food, shopping, etc at your doorstep. Big bed was a plus. Water kettle and tea available in the room. Hot shower, hairdryer and well functioning heating. Nice breakfast.

Because of the location (windows towards the pedestrian main street) it was noisy when groups of people passed during the night. If you are sensitive to that take the earplugs! I was still able to sleep well ahead of the marathon I run the next day.

The hotel was very historical in a perfect location. Was able to accommodate our large party of 16. The rooms were very airy with antique furniture. The breakfast was lovely and orders taken for fresh coffee. Very close walking distance to train station. Right in the heart of everything, restaurants, bars and shops. The leaning tower was just over the bridge, all the sights within walking distance.
