Prato is not considered a tourist location especially when surrounded by the hot tourist locations of Florence, Lucca, Pisa etc. so finding a hotel as good as the San Marco in this somewhat 'out of the way' location was both a pleasant surprise and a bonus. The hotel is in a good location and easily accessible by public bus from the railway station. The rooms are excellent, very big, with good desk space and storage (wardrobes, drawers etc). The bathroom was very spacious with a good sized walk in shower and good sized basin. The room had a good AC unit which was very sufficient. Although there is no restaurant for evening meals the breakfast was excellent. Good quality fresh food. Overall the Hotel San Marco is a very good hotel and if you factor in the price it is a great hotel.

simple and clean hotel . Though it’s not in Florence itself but train station from the hotel was easy excess (10mins walk Prato station . Hotel surrounding very safe with local people . There are also Halal shop just 3 mins walk ( Chicken Taste the shop name ) which is cheap and good . Hotel staff very friendly . Breakfast was consider good with the price we paid . €5 per person . Everything, the staff was very friendly, kind, nice and helpfull, even the housekeeping team were also wunderfull. Very fresh breakfast Buffet. By walk just in few Minutes to reach the city center and the main train station. The bus stops and service was infront of hotel. It was amazing stay in Hotel San Marco. I recommend to everbody Hotel San Marco. 💐💐💐

I really enjoyed how the location of the hotel. It was about a 7 minute walk to the train station, with easy access to Florence via 20 minute train. The city of Prato offers an escape from the busy city of Florence. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were very kind.

I have no complaints. The hotel was very nice, good location, and the staff were very kind.

The staff was amazing and kind. The kitchen was great and the help was super great too! I wil definitely stay here again. The only imperfection was that the mattresses were a bit firm for me, as o have a back sensitivity. The rooftop terrace was beautiful for sunset. When you start, walk through the piazza and left to get amazing Kebab at Ali Hamza Kebab.

A normal size room, neat and clean with all the comfort required. A Single size bed, with mini fridge , a table , a spacious wardrobe and a cabin size toilet. Everything was good.

Perhaps the lights were a little too deem, the size of the room was ok.

A pearl of a place on the edge of trendy Prato with its boutiques and yummy eateries. Handy to the train into central Florence. A simple minimalist room which is fine if your commuting. Comfy bed and pillow. Quiet. Has a lift ! Spotless, great AC and such wonderful staff.

Nice staff, facilities a bit old but everything very clean, great shower, i had single room but it was a good size decent location, 10min walk to station 20min train into Florence for €2.60
