Domus Fontis is situated just steps from the Trevi Fountain. It's a VERY busy area however when you are in your room you cannot hear any noise at all - so peaceful. The set up is a small B&B of just four rooms - it is not a typical hotel or B&B as staff are not on site 24/7 so you need to be quite self-sufficient. Rita, the housekeeper, was there to greet us when we arrived, and each morning she cleans the rooms and sets up the in-room breakfast for your next day (things like pastries, yoghurt, biscuits, meat/cheese, juice etc). This does mean you need to be out of your room each day. We were able to leave our luggage when we checked out at 11am and were taking a later flight. They were also able to arrange a transfer to the airport for us. Bathroom was good, big, and room was big enough that we did not feel cramped. Very clean.

The location is right next to the Fontana di Trevi, so it is an excellent location to enjoy Rome, see the sights, and just go for a stroll. Also this place is really quiet, something you can not find often in Rome. The room is small and the hotel doesnt have the typical hotel facilities, so you wont find that.

There is a lack of facilities that are normal in bigger hotels. But you wont find that in central Rome anyways. The metro station is roughly ten minutes walking away, but there is no way to build public transport in the area anyways, so you get what you choose. The view from the windows was very meh, but that's not important with world class sights in front of the door

The accommodation is in the best location. The room is nice, the bathroom is modern. The breakfast was prepared in the room, but it was good, although there was always a piece of bread roll. (there were two of us). By the way, it was a delicious and plentiful breakfast.

Purity is not 100%. The bedding was a little stained and had hair on it. The floor was definitely not mopped. There was a bit of a strange smell in the room. Bathroom vent made whistling noises. The most disturbing thing was that after checking out, our luggage could only be left in an unguarded place. It wasn't a problem, but someone else can eventually touch it.

We didn't request the breakfast. But the location is unbeatable, you are less than a 30 second walk to the Trevi Fountain and 10 mins from other locations. The room was spacious but my parents was a little smaller.

the aircon in the room doesn't work very well and the rooms are hot all the time. The doorhandle for the front door to the apartments is extremely close to the door frame so when I turned it I jammed my finger in the door quite a few times which was quite sore so please look out for that if you re staying here.

Location was key - you are in walking distance to everything you need If the trip you are on requires a trip to the vatacin that will br a taxi ride- taxi's however are right outside the door on the left

I did not love the checking system with the first door. You need to activate this by your phone. Sometimes when you're traveling, this is not convenient because you may not be in Wi-Fi or you may lose your phone capability. Absolutely need the phone to get through the first one I sent you a system.

Excellent location right by the Trevi Fountain which made every place we visited conveniently walkable. Bus stop was round the corner.

This ‘hotel’ consists of 4 rooms in an apartment in a building. No lobby or coffee shop or restaurant or terrace, just the 4 rooms and a tiny reception desk at the very entrance of the apartment where the receptionist stayed morning shift only. Accessibility was electronic and remotely managed. Breakfast was continental already in the room for the next morning ready wrapped. That’s all fine for a couple days stay if one needs the room only for the night’s sleep. I wish this was all adequately described on the website or on booking.com.

The location is great. Right in the middle of the tourist spots. The hosts are super friendly and easily available for communication. The rooms are extremely clean and tidy. The shower is very functional.

BREAKFAST...... it was very disappointing. I had inquired beforehand and was given a list of several items that are made available for breakfast each day. Didn't realize it was 1-2 small pieces of each item. The first day they had accidentally setup the room for 2 people, and the breakfast was just good enough for me alone. The next day they only set up the breakfast for 1 person, and it seemed like a joke. Barely a snack! In the reviews you would see many people complaining about the breakfast, so it seems like a known issue. I would have expected them to improve their offering after several such feedbacks.

The best accommodation in Roma only few steps from Fontana di Trevi. It is completely in the centre. Everything is very close - in walking distance. Accommodation is amazing. Everything is new and very modern. Room is large, bathroom is large, hot watter all the time, includes everything you need. Staff is very friendly and help you all the time. If you need anything you get the answer in a minute. They cleaned the room every day and changed the towels. Rita was perfect at the reception. It was really quiet place-even it is in the centre and the bed was so comfortable. Everyday I had water for free in my room and also there was a coffee maschine with coffe for free, kettle with tea for free and fridge. I will definitely come back here when I go to Roma again. You can not find better accommodation. I was single traveller and I fel very safe in this place. The day I was leaving I could leave my bag in the accommodation. Even from the infront door you can already see the fontain. I can only say big thank you for making me my stay so beutiful.

The entire experience was exceptional. Beginning with the owner Debra, who was available by text any time I had a question or a need.  the property is immaculate due to the hard work of Rita our hostess who joyfully helped us in so many ways. The room is a good size with a very comfortable size bathroom.The location could not have been better for us. We are older adults and my husband has an ankle injury. The property is literally 165 feet from the Trevi fountain. And yet the property was extremely quiet, no noise factor. But accessible to everything starting with café Trevi barista, the bakery and grocery next door, at least 50 restaurants within a walk 2 blocks in any direction , the Pantheon, so many churches with so much art and history you don’t have to even go to a galleria. The location and the exceptional 5 star customer service made the cost a good value. I would highly recommend them, and if I return to Rome, this is definitely where I will stay!.

The electronic door was a bit challenging to learn, but Rita was very patient. Just make sure all parties in there group have the link on their phone, in case you forget, yours in the room.

Location is unbeatable for first time traveler to Rome.. Less than half a block from the Trevi Fountain. It was surprisingly quiet at night, I received excellent instructions for self check-in before arrival. Breakfast was simple, but enough. It was left in the room the night before.(yes, the bread won't be fresh), but I appreciated it as I was able to have my breakfast in the comfort of my room while getting dressed. Big plus! It has an elevator :)

The pillows were not very comfortable. The toilet water kept running after flushing most times (it was glitchy)... but we didn't care. Overall, it was a great stay
