The location is excellent! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Rome without once having to take a taxi or public transport (except to and from the airport). There are small shops close by as well as restaurants. We had an apartment for 6 people and a separate room for 2. The apartment was absolutely fantastic. Big, fully equipped, comfortable, clean, two bathrooms with showers. The room was a good hotel room but next time we'd ask for a room with a shower as the bath wasn't very practical to take showers in. The staff were very friendly and helpful when asked about local dining options and when we needed to book a taxi from and to the airport.

There is a big road between the property and the river which is very noisy if you open the windows on that side. It didn't bother us when the windows were closed but we live in a town and are used to some background noise. It may bother some people who are very sensitive to noise.

Gonfalone 6 is in a great location, close to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navone, Trastevere, and the Vatican. A bus stop is 100 meters away. We stayed in the suite, which had a very modern feel, beautifully updated. The king-size bed was really comfortable. The bathroom had the largest tub I've ever seen, plus a spacious separate shower with excellent water pressure. We found a terrific wine bar just around the corner with a wonderful selection of wines and small plates. Also, there are several cafes nearby for breakfast. The concierge Valeria gave us very good recommendations and was really friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

There wasn't really anything we didn't like. The only thing that is a little irritating is that you have to enter through three different doors with three different entry codes. Make sure to take the little piece of paper with you or take a picture with your phone to get back into your room. It adds to safety, I guess. The taxi driver had a very difficult time finding and approaching the address. It would be easier to be dropped off on the Lungotevere and take down the steps to Gonfalone 6. Italian instructions to show the taxi driver would be very helpful!

The room was very clean.The reception gave us all the information we needed, they are really kind and helpfull!If you stay in Rome, this is the perfect location if you like walking: Vatican 25 min, Piazza Navona 15 min, Trastevere 5 min. Many Restaurants in the area, good places for breakfast and brunch. It's worth to reserve for dinner !

Central location for historical locations. Elevator. Helpful staff.

Awkward access to bed with ceiling beam interfering with entry on one side. No insulation in walls or ceiling made room very loud with busy street traffic just below. No windows.

Great communication before and during our stay. They contacted me through WhatsApp to welcome us and to send us check in information. They also offer to book us a taxi on our check out day at the time we requested. The room was clean, comfortable beds, amazing air conditioning (A/C) and pretty good hair dryer (priorities ladies!). Our bathroom had a bath tub which we throughly enjoyed after long days of walking around Rome. The property has an elevator for your luggage, you have to use the stairs to go up to your room, but that was ok. The place is very safe. We had to enter three different codes for three different doors before reaching our room. Our room had a great view of the Tiber River. 15-20 min walk to the Vatican City. Great little supermarket and cafes two blocks away from the hotel. We highly recommend Gonfalone 6 for your Rome stay.

Our apartment No. 1 was perfect for our three-person family. It was roomy yet cozy and clean with minimal decor and good lighting and comfort. The beds were comfortable and other than some loud noise from the busy road along the river a good sleep. Kitchen was well stocked and even had a steam iron available. staff were super helpful and accommodate us with great dining referrals and capturing difficult to get taxis. Location was convenient to downtown, the Vatican and Trestevere.

Didn’t use the balcony because it was narrow and faced the traffic.

The location is ideal and within walking distance of many historic sites and attractions. It was very clean and spacious, comfortable beds. The bathroom was huge and had a nice bath tub and shower. We had a 2 twin room on the 2nd floor. The staff downstairs were helpful and the check-in was easy. You recieve key codes for your room and outer doors. They do have a small elevator to bring up luggage. The only possible concern is noise from the nearby road. However, I'm a very light sleeper and I slept fine with a set of earplugs. The room is decently sound proofed. Would recommend this hotel and will stay here again when in Rome.

Valeria greeted us and welcomed us to Rome, she was fabulous from start to finish. She was extremely informative, helpful, cheery, organized and made us feel special and very comfortable. She recommended restaurants, activities, put locations on a map so when we walked around we could find the point of interest, she even helped us book our train for departure. The room was perfect for 2 people. The location is across from the Tiber river which is a great walking path as well as beautiful view. Besides Valeria being amazing , the location is fabulous, close to everything, we walked everywhere within 15 minutes and if you want to walk in Rome on foot this hotel is in a great location! look no further Book It!

Location is perfect. You can reach many historical places by walking. Safe and secure area. The owner thoughts every details in the apartment nicely. Amazing amenities such as slippers, umbrellas and Netflix on TV, very fast wifi connection, fully equipped kitchen etc. Exceptionally clean apartment. Bed sheets and towels are really clean. It is hard to see cleanness level in five stars hotel. Staffs are so kind, caring. I didn’t expect this kind of service in Italy. Generally you couldn’t find this level hospitality services in Italy especially in touristic places. I can say that my experience is exceptional. I strongly recommend that facility for long or short stay. Once again I would like to thank to Viola and Betta.

Receptionist was very helpful, provided us with maps and advice on best places to go. Ordered our taxis and generally was very friendly and helpful. Room was good, cleaned daily, fresh towels daily, fresh water daily, room has fridge and coffee maker, kettle and tea and coffee daily. Location great, on the river and 5 mins walk to Vatican bridge, 30 mins walk to city centre for all main attractions, never needed any public transport, walked everywhere.

Pillow was a bit hard, (memory foam), which I found slightly uncomfortable but overall facilities were great. Would recommend.
