This place is a hidden gem and a tranquil pocket of Rome. The gardens were just beautiful, the rooftop bar/atrium for breakfast and drinks is beautifully appointed and very elegant, and the surrounding noise of Rome fades away once you're inside. It was easy for the cab to find and the staff were super helpful in making sure everything was taken care of from the moment we arrived, including a slightly earlier check-in and cab ordering for our trip to the airport.

The peaceful atmosphere of the hotel is an absolute delight. It is so close to the attractions and the characterful area of Trastevere. Friendly, helpful staff who clearly cared about where they worked. The breakfast was a perfect start to the day, with a wide selection of hot and cold selection, with fresh orange juice. Loved to see the two resident cats had free range of the place. A wonderful week. Thank you.

I can't really find anything to say that I didn't like. Perhaps it would be even better to say ' even better if' ... a bit more greenery on the top terrace to break up the large space.

This boutique hotel is fabulous. It’s location was perfect, quiet but so close to restaurants cafes and shopping. Its location is surrounded in history and all iconic historical sites are within walking distance. Our room was clean, simple and yet modern,the aircon was a blessing, our room served it’s purpose well for two. We felt very safe walking around late at night. The staff at Horti were helpful, super friendly and gave us good informative tips to use around the city. They booked us taxis, and made reservations to great authentic Italian restaurants. We loved interacting with them. There were no laundry facilities but the staff at Horti directed us to a washing place just down the road. We loved the walkway and gardens, the turtles, and blue the cat. The breakfast at Horti is exceptional and the dining room staff were super friendly every morning. We highly highly recommend this hotel.

The location is a short walk from the main area of lots of lovely restaurants and bars. It’s a cobbled street. The food in the area is amazing and the streets and restaurants and bars are full of all ages! The botonical gardens are next door which are beautiful. The room was spacious and bathroom great! The air conditioning is a welcome comfort as we stayed in July. The public transport is not good from this area. We mainly walked everywhere but you can order taxis too. The bar is lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great too! Would definitely recommend this hotel. Had 5 fantastic nights here.

Very special hotel, modern (seems brand new), very friendly, welcoming, smiling and cooperative staff all around - from reception through breakfast to housekeeping. The standard room is not large, but it has everything a couple of guests need to spend the night in comfort: Great bathroom, comfortable bed, A/C, TV. The breakfast lounge is wonderfully lit and the food selection is very good. They offer guests several make-to-order items free of charge, which was a huge plus for us. The place is quite centrally located - all the major attractions are within 20-30 minutes walk. It is definitely not in the utmost heart of the tourist center, but you win some tranquility and serenity at the small price of walking 15 minutes to the hustle and bustle of all the tourist traps... We enjoyed very much, and warmly recommend the place.

Overall the place is absolutely great, please feel free to skip to the positive part... I would mention 2 small things to improve: 1. Better heating solution for the eggs&bacon. 2. They allow smoking just outside the rooms, and place ashtrays there. As a result, if your neighbors smoke outside - the smoke will enter your room through an open window. I'd prefer if the entire rooms' floor was smoke free, and smokers were sent to smoke at the upper balcony.

From the gorgeous property, spacious well-designed and comfortable rooms and excellent terrace with delicious breakfast and bar to the exceptional staff who are friendly and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful, I had the best 6 nights in Rome while I was at Horti. Additionally, the location is GREAT. It's was only about a 7-minute walk into the energetic center of Trastevere. Close enough to pop out for dining at a restaurant but enough distance away from the crowds.

I LOVED the greenery around the property like all the jasmine plants right outside the room doors, it's so beautiful. However, it did seem to really activate my allergies (which is very rare for me), so if you suffer from allergies at all, I just suggest bringing your allergy medication! Totally worth it. This place is phenomenal!

Location was excellent close to lots of bars and restaurants, close to Vatican city . Was lovely and quiet when in room considering how crazy and noisy traffic is not far away. The trastvere neighbourhood looks a bit run down compared to central rome with alot of graffiti and alot of the buildings in need of some tlc but the close proximity of a huge amount of bars and restaurants within walking distance made it an excellent base.The hotel had a lovely modern feel with very nice garden features in front of rooms and a lovely roof terrace which in the summer would be really nice. Also felt completely safe at all times even late at night which tbh in somewhere like London I haven't always felt . Bit of a trek to colloseum, pantheon church and spanish steps but you can't be close to everything and we enjoyed the walk taking in the sites and stopping for a drink on route to those attractions. Good breakfast and coffee and nice friendly staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Free upgrade and happy to let us keep the room for an extra hour. Room was lovely and spacious. Hotel went out their way to prepare a gluten free meal. They decorated the bed on arrival as it was our anniversary which was a nice touch. Modern decor and really nice hotel and room a little oasis outside the busy city! Close to Trastevere we’re there are lots of restaurants and also lovely little bars/restaurants and market stalls along the river.

There wasn’t any atmosphere in the bar… went popped up and no music on at all very quiet. It was extremely hot when we visited and if they had a small pool it would have been amazing. We walked over 23k steps a day… it’s close enough to walk places but when your out all day the walk home felt long and the streets you walked back at night I wouldn’t walk alone if I was a women..we hired the scooters last day as we were exhausted.

Nice, quiet location. I felt safe walking to/from, even though it’s further away from the busier areas. The strong AC was very much appreciated in the hot weather. Even though I’m all about conserving water and reusing towels, I very much appreciated they gave new towels each day because the towels had trouble drying in the small space. Breakfast spread was fantastic. All staff was very friendly.

We tried to go to the hotel bar in the evening within its stated hours, but it was closed an hour before. Shampoo looked and smelled a bit like dishwashing soap.

The reception staff is great at this hotel. The rooms are very clean and the AC was awesome! The bed and the bedding were wonderful and the grounds are beautiful with lush greenery everywhere. We also really enjoyed the upstairs bar area which played lovely music and provided a great area to lounge around. Also, the location is great-about a 5 minute walk to a bunch of fun shops/restaurants. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

The only drawback was a no coffee maker in the room and it is a bit small. But all of the other wonderful things far outweigh these small things, particularly the friendliness of the staff.
