I liked the location - not far from the main train station, but not too close. Could walk to the Trevi fountain and, in a different direction, to the Spanish steps. Quite a few shops, restaurants and cafés within walking distance. Room and bathroom were cleaned everyday. My room faced the courtyard and I never heard any traffic noise. As a light sleeper, I consider this an important point. The staff was polite and helpful. A special thanks to the lady at the reception (Anna Maria, I believe) for her warm welcome and her suggestions about nearby restaurants.

I'm having a hard time finding something negative to say about this hotel. A minor point: there is practically no space to put toiletries in the bathroom. Maybe adding a shelf could be useful. However, I wouldn't hesitate to book Hotel Aberdeen again!

Location is very good, close to Barberini, Rome museum, Termini station and Reppublica metro. Very clean, friendly staff. In February the room was very warm.

Breakfast is served from 7 to 9 which is rather limited. First morning we came at 8 and the buffet was empty. We had to ask the staff several times before it started to get refilled, though rather reluctantly and in very limited assortment and volume not sufficient for those waiting for food. The breakfast room is small, so be ready to compete. Though in our case the breakfast was included, we didn't come next days.

I stayed for 4 nights in December. The location is perfect. Main tourists attractions are within walking distance. The staff were friendly and always willing to assist. In buffet the quality of food was very good.

If you are a light sleeper, you will face some problems to have a good rest. As you can hear the guests talking in the corridors.

This hotel is in a great location approximately 10 minutes walk from Rome Termini station. If arriving on foot from the station, make sure you leave by the middle exit ( Piazza dei Cinquecento ). I ended up walking round in circles for ages because I left by one of the end exits. There are many shops and restaurants a short distance away, and the metro stop Republica is a few minutes walk from the hotel. My room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and a powerful shower. Wifi was excellent. The breakfast is of a very good standard, eggs, bacon, ham, cheese, rolls, bread, fresh fruit, juices, yogurts and cakes. What made my visit though, was the friendliness of the staff. They went out of their way to help and all of the people I spoke with were extremely knowledgeable about Rome. For the price I paid this hotel was a bargain and If I ever come back to Rome I would definitely stay here again.

The inner courtyard view wasn't that great but I was out most of the time anyway. There wasn't a socket near the bed in my room, which would've been handy but it wasn't a real problem. Everything else was perfect :)

Very convenient hotel 5-10 minutes walk from the main Rome train station. Quiet street and lovely building (especially the courtyard shared with another hotel). The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, for example booking us a taxi for 6.30am to meet our Sistine Chapel tour group! We had the breakfast on the day we checked out (as an extra), which was very nice, especially to see the painted ceiling in the dining room. The small restaurant on the left just down the street was fantastic quality (and reasonable prices) and the bakery next door was very convenient for a quick breakfast snack. The rainfall shower in our bathroom was also excellent!

The air conditioner unit in the room was quite noisy (on all the time) and not very effective, compared with the one at another hotel we stayed at. We found it difficult to find the hotel as the sign was very small (next to the huge door) and it was beneath the sign to another hotel, so not obvious at all. We almost gave up and tried to ring the hotel, until a friendly passer-by helped us find the entrance buzzer. The hotel is opposite the gate to the Ministry of Defence building.

A pleasant stay in a very good located hotel, it’s 5 minutes away from the station you can go anywhere in 15 minutes you just take any bus to any location you want and you will arrive in 15 minutes. The best thing is the team and the service, through all the hotel i tried in my whole life this one is extremely exceptional, the staff were very helpful with our luggage as we had too many, next day offered to us to change to a bigger room, but we already managed ourselves with the luggage in the room we had and it was perfectly fine. I appreciate so much your help and for sure it will be my main destination in Rome.

Excellent location, walking distance from Termini station. Safe for a female traveller at night. The hotel was right next to an excellent bakery with cheap, delicious pizza, and a couple of shops and cafes on the same street. Central Rome and all the tourist spots were within 20-25 minutes walking distance. My room was cleaned meticulously every day with fresh towels and more than enough toiletries. All my requests were immediately responded to, including an excellent iron and ironing board, and a fan when the A/C broke down one night. Would definitely stay here again.

Two minor issues: the double bed was two single beds pushed together that easily moved apart during the night, and mattress wasn't very comfortable. Also, the noise in the morning was considerable. Someone would start vacuuming around 7:30 or 7:45am, which was just too early for me, but then again I'm a light sleeper, so others could sleep through that. I would definitely stay again for the location and communication, though.

Receptionists, especially one of them really put s smile on my face with his smile and politeness. Even tough bed wasn't wide, it was really comfortable. Breakfast was ok, not too much, but also not only cruasant and coffee which was nice. Location is perfect.

Noise in the morning is pretty loud. From other doors, from cleaners, etc.

There are a lot of things to like: rooms are not that small, they are very clean and worm enough. We were lucky and we even got a room with a balcony that we loved. Our room was cleaned daily. Staff is polite, very helpful! As a location - perfect. Close enough to Termini, so if you want to catch a train you don’t have to wake up early. At the same time you are 10-15 minutes away from Foro Romano and the Colosseum by foot. Last but not least - good Wi-Fi!

We basically loved the hotel. What we need to say to other travellers: If your room is near the breakfast spot - it gets noisy at around 07:30 in the morning. This was not a problem for us, because we wake up early so it did not bother us. But if you like to sleep longer - keep this in mind.

All good - the rooms were fine and the staff very welcoming, efficient and helpful. Location very close to Roma Termini, so a great place for exploring Rome and, if you want, te surrounding area. Breakfast was good too.

A bit of noise in the corridors from other residents one one night of our 5 night stay - sound travels easily along the uncarpeted corridors. Also some painting/decorating work started about 7am in the corridor just outside our room, which was a bit annoying - but nothing too serious.
