perfect location! Walkable from the train station and to all the main sights, lots of shopping and restaurants. Elevator is convenient. The rooms are newly remodeled and perfectly clean. Room is made daily and clean towels provided. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The building is old (which I think is a plus, historic) and has character; the rooms are modern. I would definitely stay here again, but maybe call them directly and see if I can get a “Roman discount “ since I was born in Rome 😉

Room for 2 was tiny, but had enough space for our suitcases and stuff… No curtains so some light comes through the shutters. Breakfast is open only until 9:30 (or more like 9:15) and it’s just basic coffee and pastries, some juices. ok for Italians 😉. All in all the hotel is on the expensive side for what it offers, but Rome is expensive…

I found this place on booking during a previous stay in Rome, and I felt very lucky that there happened to be a room available at the last minute during this most recent visit. I wound up staying here for several days, as the price was absolutely amazing, especially given it was the peak summer season. Aside from this, the room was both nicely renovated and modern, as well as literally being partly like a museum, given the 19th century ornate wooden ceiling, as well as the painting and some of the fixtures. The view was also very nice, being on a smaller Roman street with cafes across the way. I really enjoyed my stay here, it made being in Rome such a treat. The location was also excellent, as it is very close to the main Rome train terminal. You can easily walk there in about ten minutes, as well as the hotel being on the way to the main attractions such as the Ancient Roman forum further down (you could walk there too, or take the subway a few stops down). Highly recommended.

Location was amazing.

Staff could have been better. Waited until the last night to let me know that the process to pay was not completed at the hotels end and they had charged my card twice already but not for the full amount. This resulted in me being charged three international transaction fees rather than one. They also tried to charge me for two people's tourist tax rather than one even though only one person stayed there.

Great location. You can get to the most if not all the sightseen by foot and take a metro or a bus if you're exhausted in the evening. Very friendly personnel (i think Giuseppe was worried about my flight more than i was myself xD). Overall a great experience, totally would recommend!

Was the noise coming from the street in the evening/night from time to time, but i guess it's common for city center

Good location, short walk from Termini and Trevi Fountain. Metro v.close. Staff v.friendly, room was clean & comfortable, nice power & temperature for the shower. Continental breakfast was very basic but ok.

My room was near the breakfast area and I could hear every sound during the preparation for opening & the breakfast itself. Luckily I was getting up early anyway. The air-conditioner wasn't working but it was Feb so luckily I didn't need it.

It has been an amazing journey in Rome and Hotel Elide was such a perfect place to stay! The staff has been so available and kind: as soon as you arrive they give you a map and illustrate to you the most important places to visit and you can find somebody everytime, day and night; the room was perfect: so well clined and with all the accesories needed. The position is extremely usefull: from there you get wherever you want. Long story short, I absolutely recommend Hotel Elide, I'll surely come back

The Staff is very helpful and polite. Location is perfect. Room is clean.

The backyard is very noisy early in the morning. The first door is slamming from the people during the night and the near 3 doors are slammed every night till 2.a clock

Room was clean and location was also fine. Staff is really friendly. There is a place to have a breakfast on front with good coffee. Late check-in is also a pro.

Maybe structure is a bit old. Probably in Rome it's not convenient to expect a modern hotel. There are modern hotels but they tend to be expensive.
