The room was large and the bathroom was really clean and bright and roomy. Staff were helpful and friendly - we arrived late and there is no fridge in the room. Our host went and got 3 different juices for us upon arrival as we had run out of water. It was the middle of summer and stifling hot however the air con was perfect. They don't provide breakfast however there were some wonderful little cafes in the surrounding streets that we got coffee and cooked breakfasts from.

We were 15 mins away from the heart of Rome via taxi - which meant when we wanted to go sightseeing we stayed in there all day to reduce costs. The closest train stations were closed and I wasn't comfortable trying to navigate the bus system with a little one in tow. It was really close to the Vatican, so we walked over to that, and I worked out there was a hop on hop off bus station nearby so we ended up doing that one day.

Really enjoyed the stay! Michelle is amazing host and ensured the hospitality at the highest level. I slept well, felt secure and the room was clean. It was great that there is a little bouffet available with some biscuits, jam, coffee and tea. In the mornings we could have additionally some croissant, yoghurt and fresh fruits. In case there are expectations for more nourishing food, the hotel is located in the street with variety of cafés that offers breakfast for +/- 15 Eur. Also I liked the idea that the room cleaning is done when the guest requests that (for that, you hang the sign on the door handle). Also it should be noted that the building itself is historical and it is obvious that the renovation was done preserving it's authenticity at maximum. For me it's only a bonus and adds the charm to the building- Paintings on the ceiling were amazing and the main doors are so beautiful, although quite narrow (because authentic!!!). The location is ideal for those who want to see the city by walking!

No dislikes! However, I should emphasize that hotel is located in a historical building. In case your hotel standart is wide automatic doors, multiple large elevators and wide halls, this might just not be the right selection (and no! The stuff is not to be blamed for that!).

Michelle was very nice and helpful. The room was big, compared with other hotels in Rome. It was nicely renovated.

It was very noisy. According to Booking.com the rooms should have been soundproofed, but, not even close. You can hear the noise from the street very clear, closing the window doesn't help much. Even noise from the hallway... so not much sleep staying here, sorry.

Loved our accommodation in Rome, even our taxi driver said that we were staying in a great part of old Rome. The staff member that was there, was very helpful and we enjoyed having a breakfast bar with fresh fruit, yoghurt and other goodies along with tea, coffee and water (sparking, still or cold) available not far from our rooms. Very good security on this property, so felt incredibly safe.

I was a bit surprised when I opened one of the windows and it tilted away from the frame. I thought that the window frame was going to fall out, but the other window worked the same way :)

Excellent situation 200 metres from Piazza Navona and close to many of the principal attractions. Taxi stand 5 minutes away for longer trips. The property is located on the second floor of a large building from the 17th Century; there is a lift and no problem of access for older people. There are many restaurants and cafes in the vicinity selling decent food at decent prices. The charming manageress is most helpful, has good English and is anxious to ensure a memorable holiday for her guests. Our room was large with ensuite bathroom and a big and exceedingly comfortable bed.

Nothing to dislike. The only concern I had, being of an advanced age, is that the shower tray is high off the ground and a little tricky for the frail of limb. This could easily be solved by a grab bar in the wall.

Great location. Clean spacious rooms in lovely old building. Friendly stuff and familiar atmosphere. Coffee/tea and snacks available all the time. We were also happy to find out that our room was ready upon arrival (several hours before ordinary check-in) although we had not asked for early check-in.

The one little thing we liked less was that we got a bunch of keys instead of card/code but we got used to it and was not really a problem😊

Lovely old apartment in a nice area of old Rome, cobblestone streets with plenty of good restaurants, cafes and boutiques. Close to the Vatican and within about a 30 minute walk to the colloseum Air conditioning! Quiet safe area at night time, despite the restaurants in close proximity. Great staff, very helpful and responsive. A nice selection of complimentary snacks and a cold water dispenser in the reception area.

Nothing - this was the best place we’ve stayed in so far!

This is a little gem in the middle of a vibrant area, close to everything you will want to see. There are plenty of good restaurants, cafes and shops literally outside the property. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds perfect. There is plenty of hot water and very efficient air conditioners.

The only niggle we had was the shower that seemed to suffer limescale build-up (we have this problem at home and it is a constant battle!)

Wonderful accomodation in a traditional building! The room was very clean and quiet even though it is located in a very popular spot. Great location! Walking distance to everything but also with easy access to public transportation. Snacks were available all day (croissants, cakes, pastries, fruits, tea...) for all the guests. Michelle and all the staff were very kind and helpful. Generally, the WiFi was strong, hot water anytime. We visited Rome during an extremely hot period, and the a/c worked perfectly (but we missed a tiny fridge - please consider this for the future). We had to catch a late flight and, after the checkout, they offered to keep our luggage. Thank you for everything!
