What a fantastic place!Christian was helpful with my many questions.He arranged transportation from the airport and back to the airport The apartment is ideally situated near to many attractions,beautiful Trastevere with its lovely restaurants is literally a 5 minute walk away.Campio de Fiori square with its markets and restaurants a 2 minute walk away. We were provided with breads,fruits,yoghurts,cereals,milk,juice etc for our breakfast.There is a shop next door with all essentials. Our apartment was clean,lovely comfortable bed and very peaceful and quiet. We highly recommend this beautiful place.

This is definitely not a criticism but we would have liked a safe box in the room The area is very safe however our travel insurance only covers our valuables if we use a safe.

The apartment is nothing short of delightful, in one of the many historic and beautiful architecture streets in this magnificent city . The location is 10+ literally a minutes walk to a bridge (full of activity at night and a must )that takes you to the trendy Trastevere area in Rome with many great restaurants and bars , we were spoilt for choice. The balcony was lovely to sit in the evenings and was very quiet considering your location . We walked the streets of Rome, preferring this to the hop on hop off bus tours (which in larger cities we like to do), however Rome is very walkable (cobbled streets everywhere ), from the apt it took 30 mins to the Colosseum/Roman Forum via which we went to Circus Maximus and 25-30 mins to The Vatican City. Closer 5-20 mins you have Piazza Navona, Trevi fountain , Spanish Steps , Monument to Victor Emmanuel II/Pantheon and more …. The apartment was well equipped for a short stay and had all that we needed . The bed was comfortable and very quiet in the evenings we left a door ajar to let the fresh air in.

The host and owner, Cristian, is very helpful, responsive and friendly. The location is perfect and is just steps from the Ponte Sisto bridge and the Campo de Fiore area. Pettinari Village is on the 3rd floor of an old building, and there is a lift. We stayed in Room 3 which was lovely. We were so happy with the room and the beautiful adjoining outdoor space. The first night, we kept the patio doors to the outdoor space open with the louvers closed, and the overnight sounds of the birds was such a nice surprise. Not something we expected in the Centro area of Rome:) The room itself was very clean with a double bed and a small buffet area that was stocked with cakes, breads, jellies, Nutella, yogurts, juice and water. The bathroom was very clean with a large shower. There were also toiletries for our use. The room was lightly cleaned each day. This was our first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast while visiting Rome as we have always stayed in full apartments. Pettinari Village was such a warm and relaxing experience, and we hope to stay here for our future trips to Rome. Thank you for hosting us Cristian.

Honestly, nothing was unsatisfactory to us.

Before we even arrived, Cristian could not have been more helpful. He booked and confirmed a taxi to and from the airport for us and stored our luagge securely on arrival until check in. He even lent me an umbrella, as it was pouring with rain when we arrived! Thank you so much for the amazing service Cristian, you really helped make our stay as stressfree as possible. Our room and facilities were everything we needed for a short stay in Rome. The bed was comfortable, the balcony was a really lovely spot for our morning coffee and it was very convenient to have a small fridge and dining area for breakfast and snacks throughout the day included. We have cereal, bread, fresh fruit and even a homebaked chocolate cake each day. Yogurt, cartons of milk and a large bottle of water were replaced daily, which was super convenient! A toaster, microwave, kettle and coffee pod machine are also provided, so you have the option of simple meals in your room if you need. The WiFi worked perfectly and we slept under an original 16th Century ceiling! The building is on a very busy street- especially at night, making it the perfect location to go out for dinner or drinks by foot. Once inside, we heard nothing, as the building is very solid and our room was located on the back of the building. It was amazing how quiet it was, given the bustling street downstairs. The river, a foot bridge and all the nightlife of Trastevere is only a 5 min walk away. There is also a Coop supermarket downstairs and lots of cafes, patisseries and gelato on your doorstep too! The Vatican is about a 30min walk away, the Coloseum 25mins walk, Trevi fountain 20 mins walk. There are buses in the area but we also used taxis to save our feet - which were easy to hail and very reasonably priced. Taxis to the airport are fixed at 50€ one way - for 1-4 people. XL taxi up to 8 people - 90€.

The only thing we didn't love was the size of the shower. It's a bit of a tight squeeze if you're tall or wide ;)

The attention and hospitality from Christian really made us feel at home. Special thanks fo that. The location was outstanding. All our points of interest from Villa Borghese to Colosseum were in a 3 Km walk radius. Lots of restaurants around, beautiful streets, the river and even Vatican city very close by. The building is a couple of centuries old and it was fun to sleep in a piece of history. The breakfast provided was nice and handy. The room was always cozy warm. We thank the possibility of leaving the luggage in the room for later pick-up.

Only the shower was very small but this is minor compared to all good we got there. (Like, I am 1.80m high, 94 Kgs and I fit with not much space to move inside.

I would highly recommend Pettinary Village B&B. Its location is perfect and all main attractions are within walking distance. The host was very helpful and attentive from the minute we arrived at the accommodation until we left, nothing was a bother from arranging taxi's to/from airport to restaurant recommendations. Christian was available in person and via text throughout our stay. The breakfast was an added bonus before heading out exploring.

Location is perfect. Beautiful little street, close to the river, close to Piazza Argentina. Rooms are beautiful, well-appointed, situated within an architecturally-stunning old building. We really enjoyed the terrace on one of the rooms. Cristian was very flexible with check-in and extremely hospitable. He delivered us a French press at our request so we didn't have to use the pod machine. Breakfast cake was very good; they left a traditional European breakfast they left in the room for us to enjoy in the morning--fruit, cake, bread for toast, toaster, milk, juice, etc. Great wine glasses, as well. The guesthouse is only a few rooms, but it was very quiet and we heard neither the other guests nor street noise. We had a lovely stay on both ends of our trip and highly recommend and look forward to staying there again when we return to Rome some day (hopefully) soon.

The property was immaculate. Cristian was a lovely host who got in touch beforehand and was there to meet us on arrival and give us an overview of the area. The rain managed to hold off long enough to allow us to enjoy the terrace which was a nice respite from the hustle and bustle. The location of the property was perfect, just across the bridge from Trastevere, approximately 20 minutes walk in one direction to the Vatican and 20 minutes walk the other direction to the Colosseum.

We absolutely loved it here. We were sad to leave! This was just for 1 night to fill in as our original plans changed, but I would 100% stay here again for our whole stay. It was a perfect location, spotless, and the staff were lovely. We had a lovely big terrace, a comfortable bed, and lots of fresh fruit, tea, coffee, biscuits, bread, jams, yoghurt, fresh juice.etc Cristian was so helpful too and the building is so interesting.

This B&B was absolutely amazing! Check in was smooth and Cristian communicated with me through the entire booking. The room was spacious and modern with a cute balcony and nice sized bathroom. Breakfast was amazing and was refilled daily. Location was 10/10, no more than 30minutes away from all the main attractions on foot. Cristian even helped us out by posting some clothes we accidentally left behind to our next hotel and he did this on the same day! Perfect stay with a perfect host!! Thankyou 😊
