Location is great because is close to all you need to visit in the historic city. Also, the place is surrounded by good restaurants and cafes, therefore the price for night is very good. Staff is nice but Alessia in the front desk was the best: sweet and really helpful with everything that I asked for.

The building confused me because is really old and look like abandoned from outside. Inside there is no elevator. Room are small. Only one mirror in the bathroom. You can hear noises from other rooms. However, If you’re going to be out the whole day, can’t pay a 5 stars hotel and only need a room at night to sleep, this hotel will be perfect.

Extremely central and cute rooms. This was an anniversary trip and they treated us to a lovely bottle of wine. We came outside hours and they were accommodating. When we were cold at night, they provided us thick blankets. Extremely lovely service.

The toilet wouldn’t flush so had to press 3 times consecutively for it to flush. The cleaners also would knock from 8.30am regularly and even enter sometimes which wasn’t ideal especially since we had late nights most evenings. Perhaps having a sign to put on doors to say DND until taken off, would be suggested.

The woman at reception was very friendly, the location was perfect for us, our flight had been cancelled and we needed a place to stay for one night near our friends. The room was such a pleasant surprise, the vaulted brick ceiling in the bathroom, the old wooden beams in the bedroom. Completely spotless and very comfortable. Very good value.

The AC was not doing the trick, it was a little warm. There was no natural light as our window opened up to an airshaft. However, for a night or two, this would not be a problem at all. the entrance is a little sketchy coming into the building, makes you really unsure of what awaits you.

Ideally located within walking distance to city centre and all the main attractions in Rome. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotlessly clean and were serviced every day. Very comfortable beds and slept exceptionally well every night. Wifi was very good and was able to online meetings. Was able to leave luggage in reception on check out day.

Signage for the hotel could be better as it is not easy to locate the entrance. Reception is on the second floor and the initial entry to a hallway is not the most welcoming. Only one chair for a room with two occupants! Rooms are smaller than average so not much space. No tea/coffee making facilities

The staff were absolutely incredible! I cant remember her name, maybe it was Dana? But she was amazing! Gave us heaps of recommendations on where to eat and drink and was just genuinely so lovely, it was so nice to be looked after so well after such a long, hot day of traveling.

The only thing was that we were on the third floor and the wifi did not work and neither did our mobile data. They tried to help but it seems to be a bit of an ongoing issue.

really clean and comfortable. the AC was good, we just made sure we left it on for a few hours while we were out to dinner so the room was cold for sleeping. shower pressure was amazing!

Don’t be like us and have 18kg bags - as you may have to go up six flights of stairs with it. If you’re a light sleeper the old building does creek and you can hear other guests but it’s to be expected from an ancient house.

Location is the best .

We had a room at third floor and we were with 2 year kid and with baby carriage and it was so hard to get upstairs and downstairs. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, because there was a warning that there is no elevator, but it's logical when you have scheduled the arrival of two adults with a 2-year-old child to make an effort to provide them with a room on a lower floor.

Location couldn’t be better, we walked mostly everywhere. The room was standard, but big enough for 3 adults. We only cared about having a comfy bed and shower with good pressure, which we did! The staff was super nice. We talked with three different girls during our stay, and they were friendly and helpful with our questions and requests. I’d defo come back if going to Rome!

Nothing I would flag

The house was very nice, very clean and comfortable. The host was communicative and arranged an airport transfer for me, and also allowed early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. The location is perfect, there are some very good and reasonably priced restaurants in Campo de' Fiori right outside the building. Attractions such as Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon are a short walk away, the Colosseum is a slightly longer walk away. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and the dining table was large enough to seat the whole family. We really liked staying here and would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect. So accessible to tourist sights and very close to Trastevere, which had lots of great restaurants/ was a local feeling area. I was also traveling solo and felt safe and confident walking around at night. My room felt secure, safe, and was very clean. Both receptionists I spoke to were kind a very helpful. I was able to store my luggage until check in as well, which was really nice! Would stay again!
