Giuseppe was extremely helpful whenever we had questions (easily reachable by texting with WhatsApp). Our last night (of a 5 night stay), we moved into the "penthouse"... wonderful views, great hottub, and lots of room. It's well worth the extra steps & room cost upcharge. The location in Trastevere was excellent. The restaurants & nightlife are very close, yet far enough away to enjoy some quiet time.

This boutique hotel really had no shortcomings in our opinion.

It's a lovely and cutesy house with rooms on each floor, each located off an old fashioned red velvet staircase. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the facilities in the room were great. Having an aircon in summer in Rome was very welcomed, although it could be a bit stronger. The neighbourhood of Trastevere was very lovely and beautiful - but note that this neighbourhood is quite far from main transport routes and red bus stops. There are however many little cafes, shops, squares, cobblestones, hanging lights, and places for cocktails or dinner in the neighbourhood. Giuseppe was very kind and welcoming. We would definitely come back to stay again.

The door know was broken, which made it difficult to lock the door. But Giuseppe fixed it the following day. Note that the terrace is only for those in the penthouse - booking.com includes photos of the penthouse suggesting everyone has access to the rooftop.

Giuseppe, is an excellent host and really put in the effort to make sure our stay/check in and check out was well looked after. His list of restaurants stuck on the reception table is not to be missed. Our room was tucked just the right distance away from the multitude of bars/ restaurants and shops... on a quiet lane, which was a godsend. The room was gorgeous with a very comfortable bed and two large windows that lit up the room very nicely. The amenities were great. I would absolutely recommend this apartment and definitely come back to stay at Giuseppe's!

We really enjoyed our stay at Residenza del Cedro. The apartment was very cosy and really clean, in a great location in the heart of the Trastevere district and also near main attractions that are on the walking distance. After all day wandering around Rome we really managed to rest especially because the bed was extremely comfortable. Our host Giuseppe was extremely kind and very helpful. He waited us for the late check-in, and on the last day of our stay he allowed us to stay in even after the official check-out time because he had no other guests after us. Since we had a late flight this was extremely helpful. Book accommodation at Residenza del Cedro and you won't regret it.

Perfect location in Trastevere! Located on a quiet street, but right around the corner from the restaurant, bars, shops. We stayed in the double room - the bed is exceptionally comfortable. Shower quickly gets hot with good water pressure. Very clean and large room that had everything we needed including kitchenette and small desk. The hosts have a wonderful list of local restaurants that were delicious and not touristy!

Wifi wasn't always at full bars. No elevator (not a problem for us but may be for those with mobility limitations).

We booked the rooftop apartment with private terrace and hot tub. The apartment is extremely spacious with a very large bedroom and super comfy bed. The bathroom is also spacious with a great shower. There is a separate living room with lift to the rooftop. The sunny rooftop is fantastic with sun loungers and a great hot tub, ideal for a soak after a day out exploring. The apartment is in a great location in Trastevere, close enough to everything but located on a quiet street so nice and quiet at night time. Communication with Giuseppe and Jennie was excellent, always on hand to give recommendations and answer questions. The apartment really made our trip to Rome perfect! Looking forward to our next stay.

It was quiet so good for a family. The hosts were available for support and provided lots of useful information as well as facilitating a later checkout. The room was clean, the shower pressure was great. The WiFi was good and allowed streaming. The TV had Netflix, Prime and Youtube. The host Jenny also went out of her way to come and find us after we were slightly stranded by the taxi driver on the journey in.

I think having better signage to show the hotel would have been useful and the stairs weren't the easiest to navigate especially with a child.

The location was great, central to many areas and a good location for food and drinks in the evening. The hosts were amazing! They helped with all of our taxis and any questions we had they were always available. Our luggage got delayed coming in and the host offered to have the airport call him when it was available, he arranged for the luggage to be dropped off to the hotel and made the trip much less stressful! The hosts truly were amazing!!

Beautiful place, perfect location. Giuseppe and Jenny are the perfect hosts. Big room, super comfy bed and pillows and very quiet at night. We LOVED our stay and would definitely come back in the future.

There was nothing wrong with the hotel or the room. However, as someone who uses the kitchen when travelling, it would be nice if there was a toaster, a kitchen bin and a proper knife. I would have also loved a couple of extra pillows.
