Cleanliness and location

I was disappointed with the breakfast. The quantity is not enough, and the choice is resticted and strange. The option to have orange juice is only available when selecting coffee, not for tea. May not be worth having breakfast included in the room charge.Furthermore, there was a funny smell in the corridor in the morning, and we could hear the water sound from the next room. In terms of setting in the room, it should include a comfy chair, a couple of dishes, and forks.

Super great location. It seems like for beginner in Rome that a bit far away from center of touristic place but NOT. Escaping from crowd in touristic center, it’s surrounded by many great local restaurants and local market. Always one way (no transit) by bus to any of famous areas or touristic places including Vatican. Even the cafe on the ground floor (next building) is super lovely and we enjoyed breakfast and capchino every morning

Nothing. Just for caution - they don’t have shampoo/conditioner so you need to bring it

I’ve stayed at the Seven Suites before, and it is a delight. I have family and friends in Testaccio, so I love being able to stay so close to them, and still so centrally located to all the sites in Rome! The location is perfect. The bed is so comfortable, the balcony is charming, the fridge is stuffed with goodies, and wine, and beer! Breakfast is at Linardis ( outstanding Cafeteria) next door, scrumptious, and the wifi is solid. Each Suite is quiet, elegantly furnished and beautifully appointedI. I had a bath this time, which I love……! Heavenly. I travel for a living, so see many hotels, a month! And although I appreciate all the thoughtfulness that goes into making the accommodation thrilling for its guests, it’s when things go slightly wrong, that the staff, really have a chance to shine! Marta, who was the manager on duty today, was fantastic to deal with, and I’d like to send her much appreciation! Thank you so much Marta! Calm, cool, and resourceful, I felt reassured and supported that my reservation challenge would be resolved quickly and fairly. In short, Marta’s poise, and skills, made my stay at The Seven Suites, a great experience. I arrived at the front desk, and found out there had been a small mix up, with my reservation…..( which had nothing to do with Seven Suites!). Marta, quickly resolved the issue, guided me into my room, suggested a coffee, that I relax, get settled in and before I knew it, I was recuperating, and focusing on the busy day ahead. WOW! A shout out to the owner as well, for being flexible, generous and understanding! I was impressed. It’s my go to place to stay in Testaccio…….

This property was perfect for myself and my friend on our stay in Rome. The room was very comfortable, it had air conditioning and heating which both worked very well. The shower was great and the self check in system was very straightforward. It was in a lovely area too, make sure to have dinner in testaccio also, it’s a lively neighbourhood at night with lovely restaurants and isn’t as touristy!

Only thing I have to say is the hair dryer was a bit broken so I would recommend you bring your own.

Very nice, modern rooms. Great bed. Impeccably clean. Perfectly furnished. Super responsive communication. I loved the location and the neighborhood. Fantastic stay overall, would return anytime!

Bathroom was a bit narrow. Cleaning products used have a very strong and intense smell (quite typical of Southern Europe in general). I had to open the windows for a while to get rid of the intense perfume. Staircase of the building is quite old and smelly (especially the elevator).

Excellent location in the heart of Testaccio. Testaccio may not be as "romantic" as Trastevere, or close to the main tourist sights, but there is no better place to stay if you want to properly experience non-tourist Rome, and to eat! Very smooth check-in experience. When you arrive the owner has left a sheet of very useful tips for the area. Room was pretty much 10/10 for cleanliness and comfort. But the absolute best thing was the breakfast at Linari. The throngs of locals in the morning (and indeed all day) tell you how good Linari is. I haven't had better pastries or coffee anywhere in Rome. What you will get at Linari is an Italian breakfast of the very highest standard.

I would have appreciated the ability to look out the window – there was no way to raise the blinds/shutters.

Check-in was very organized, and we were sent the steps to get to our accommodation beforehand. The room was very well decorated and the size was perfect. The room had a small balcony (not directed to the main street, more intimate) which was very enjoyable to use. The bathroom was fantastic and of great size. The breakfast was offered at the Pasticceria downstairs, which had delicious pastries and a tasty cappuccino. The neighbourhood itself was wonderful: it had parks, it had restaurants and bakeries, it had dogs (!), it was very well located (near Trastevere and even the Colosseum, a mere half an hour by foot away) and very well served by public transportation.

The only two things to point out are related to small and different noises which didn't impact the quality of our stay. First, since the room is located on a floor with other rooms, you could very clearly notice when someone was passing in the corridor or on the phone. Secondly, sometimes we could hear water coming down the pipes from a different floor.

Great neighborhood with easy transport links. Although the bus network isn't terribly reliable it seems! Easy to walk to the main sites if it's not during a heatwave, although my son and I managed it. It was 38 degrees and we averaged 18,000 steps a day.

Having booked well in advance and requested a specific room, we arrived to find we weren't in that room but after the first night they did all the could to rectify it and gave us the right room. They were really helpful. I would definitely stay here again

The room was nice, comfortable and clean. Very spacious. Bathroom was very clean too. Location very nice, within walking distance of all historic monuments. The neighbourhood is full of locals, so it's not crowded by tourists, which I deem as something extremely positive.

The breakfast included in the total price could include some more products. It was a bit restrictive. I had to pay a few extra euros (probably €3-5 more). No big deal, but then, I was wondering, why not include it in the price, since it's not such a big difference.

50+ year old couple, visiting Rome for the first time. Excellent location in a local neighbourhood with no tourists in sight, but still close enough to the tourist attractions. Lovely area with parks, squares and fantastic restaurants all around. It's a series of rooms in an residential building, so there is no lobby or facilities but the room is clean, tidy and very comfortable.
