The location of this property is perfect for the train station where you can also access the metro or bus service. We were greeted by our wonderful host who showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know about our stay. He also showed us a map of the city and gave us some brilliant and helpful tips on how to get to where we wanted to go as well as ideas of good places to eat.. Ask about the pizza place around the corner it’s amazing.., The room is basic but clean and tidy, perfect as a base for a city break… no frills but homely, warm and comfy and felt very safe and secure. You have your own bathroom which is just out side the room, and again basic but perfect for a quick shower and off again… Thank you so much for making myself and my children feel so welcome and well looked after, we had more interaction with host and information about the city than we ever would of got staying at a big hotel xxx

Nothing that we didn’t like at all, You get what you pay for at the end of the day, we paid basically around £60 a night for three people and it was a perfect base for the city, and super quality for this kind of price xxx

Room was very comfortable and clean. A really nice surprise was the espresso maker in the room! The air conditioning was much appreciated. We tend to view hotel rooms as needing to provide nothing more than a clean, safe, and comfortable place to sleep and this went over and beyond! Plus the manager was super helpful with suggestions for places to eat and other fun things to do around the city. We would definitely stay there again!

This is a very minor issue, but it was a little far from some of the major tourist attractions. It was not a very big deal, though, as we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the public transit. Between buses and trains, we found it very easy to get where we wanted to go.

The Place In Rome is a charming place to stay and well situated so that with a bit of walking or a trip in some local transit you can take in a lot of the city in a day. But the really great thing is the staff, who are personable, knowledgeable and helpful. They'll help you get oriented in and prepared for the city and will work flexibly and hard to ensure you have a good experience, really going above and beyond.

I think this place was great and the host was welcoming and sympathetic. The Place in Rome Guest House is also really close to public transportation and make it really easy for anyone to have access to the most touristic places. The room was good for 1 or 2 people and everything was working as expected.

very good location. pleasant and friendly man at the reception, who gave us good information on how to function effectively in the city. clean room, comfortable beds and a quiet environment for sleeping. overall we were very satisfied

noisier ventilation in the bathroom and weaker running water in the shower. but it was nothing critical.

First of all the welcoming of Mr.James was amazing, he not only helped us with the check in, but he also gave us tips about our stay in Rome and also showed us some bars and restaurants that he recommended , which were great both in the food taste and their prices, the room was great, and the location of the apartment its the unbeatable feature. its very close to Roma Termini which allows you to use the trains and busses to anywhere, also its 15-20 min walk to some of the famous locations of Rome. Highly Recommended!!

i thought the services were great in comparison to the good price we paid! the service and hospitality was more than excellent. We got a room for four people and a private bathroom, we each got a body towel and a small towel; there was tissue, shower gel and soap already in the bathroom which was very nice. The location is in a quiet & safe neighborhood, very close to public transport, makes it easy to get around. Special thanks to James for making our trip to Rome even more special! James made very good recommendations on what and where to eat, he gave us many tips on how to get around and what to look out for. James was very friendly and nice to talk to.

Nothing honestly, we had a wonderful stay.

The host is very lovely, sharing all his tips about travelling in Rome and restaurants nearby. The location is around 10 minutes walk to the train station.

The bathroom is very small, it isn’t really possible to close the door when using the toilet.

The location was great and close to the train station. 30min walk to the colosseum, fountain and Spanish steps and the walk was easy. The staff were also great and very helpful on arrival giving us some great local tips.

The sofa bed was small.. not quite a double and not very comfortable. It’s was just big enough for our two children to share who were 10 and 12years.

It's in a great location - only 5 minutes walking from Termini train station and 15-20 minutes to most of the big sites. The staff was super nice and even let us check in late (as our bus to Rome was delayed). The room is basic but everything you need for a short stay.

The bathroom was private, but it was outside of the room, so we had to go through the hall to get there.
