The women at the reception was wonderful, amazing and really helping with all the questions regarding stay and the city. Room was extremely nice and super clean.Very close to train station so would highly recommend to traveller from another city.

The breakfast buffet attendant didn't had a good customer service attitude, I think it was because I am Indian, I noticed he didn't ask many people about their room number but was was more concerned with what I was eating or doing at the buffet among European and just kept an eye on me which seemed a bit uncomfortable.Thats just my observation. Other than that, everything was nice.

Location was very good for wandering around the city. We walked mostly every day and it’s within 20-30 min to most of the main tourist attractions. It is clean and staff is very friendly and kind. Breakfast is good, though the same every day.

Family room that we booked looked much larger on picture than in reality. In addition, there is not enough (or better to say - hardly any) space for putting clothes or other items out of the suitcases (literally one shelf, one drawer and 8 hangers for the four of us for a week…). Bathroom is very small and also has very limited (i.e. no) space for keeping cosmetics, toothbrushes…). Area where the hotel is located is very close to train station. As much as it is good (location-wise), it is not the cleanest part of the city and has a lot of homeless people around, so you need to be careful when you are walking (not for the safety, as it’s well lit and always rather busy, but more not to step into something…).

we wanted to be close to the train station, and this location was very convenient! the hotel is walking distance to the train station. we also did a hop on / hop off bus tour, and one of the stops is nearby, so that was also nice! staff very welcoming and helpful. room was clean, and the bed/sheets/pillows were so comfy! breakfast is nice and we love that it's included! (although it's the same selection every day; it'd be nice if they change it up a bit especially if you're staying for a couple of days). there's also a small store down the street corner, so that was convenient when we wanted to get some snacks and drinks for the room or on the go.

not crazy over the smell of the soap/shampoo/conditioner/shower gel products. not a big deal for us anyway, because we always bring our own when we travel.

Location was very good for accessing Roma Termini. On the other hand, it was near Roma Termini, which is not ideal if you’re not planning on several day trips. We found a restaurant called Famiglia that was excellent very nearby. The hotel was clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff were helpful and very nice!

The coffee out of a machine for the breakfast was disappointing, but the food options were quite good. If we weren’t planning on day trips by train, we might have stayed elsewhere. But the hotel itself was very good.

The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, about a 5min walk from Termini Station, at a walking distance to major sights and with a couple of restaurants, mini markets and souvenir shops nearby. Our room was spacious, clean and had a modern touch as per the decoration which was hard for us to find in Rome. Breakfast was also great and everything was replenished immediately, while there was always available sitting during breakfast time. Last but not least, the staff was exceptional, assisting us kindly with any inquiries that we had. We would definitely choose this hotel for our next visit in Rome!

Some tourists may find the area between the hotel and Termini a bit "sketchy" to walk during the night, but it is typical for areas next to terminal/central train stations in many European cities (Athens included) and we are personally used to it. There is no reason to worry at all, since no one is bothering you during any time of the day, so it's not a deal-breaker. Additionally, we noticed there was no ventilation in our bathroom, thus certain "odors" tend to stay a little longer there, but thankfully not too long, so again it is not a deal-breaker.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating, and great with local knowledge and helping point you in right direction for activities. You can leave your luggage if you need be there early or leave after checkout. Is a very short walk to main train station and buses ( very convenient location). Plenty of restaurants nearby and can easily walk to some of the local attractions & shopping from there. Rooms are clean and comfortable, has aircon. Breakfast is delicious.

Due to its closeness to train station there were homeless sleeping in laneway nearby. They weren't an issue though, and you could safely navigate around them.

Loved the breakfast the staff was amazing and it's a good value for money. But the bedroom we had (suite) had issues with the bath even so staff was extra super friendly and amazing helpfull everything we asked they did their best. Location was good walking distance from the train station and central

Smallish room and the water was everywhere after each bath the room had water Lakes outside the bathroom area. Bath Door wasn't closing or able to lock..

The location can't be beat! Quick walk from the train station and walking distance to the major sights. The room was clean and as expected. Was delighted to find all the essential toiletries in the room. Breakfast was as expected for a hotel. Luggage storage was excellent - our bags were already in our room when we returned later in the day.

The air conditioner in the room was very loud - it made a strange buzzing sound that the front desk alleged was normal. The checkout process was a bit cumbersome - instead of charging the card on file we had to physically check out at 6am.

A very great hotel that is a short walk (about 6- minute walk) from the Rome Termini which is what my family and I really needed. The staff were all friendly and helpful especially Jacob who was at the front desk when we arrived. We arrived at The Republic way earlier than the check in time, he accommodated us and had our room ready almost immediately. We truly appreciated that as we were so tired and sleepy and wanted to freshen up, rest and sleep. There were ample amount of towels and supplies in the bathroom. Our room was in the corner front of the hotel and eventhough there were busses passing by, we hardly hear the noise. The breakfast was very good with enough choices to choose from. Overall, we had a really nice stay at The Republic.

The bathroom could have used at least a shelf below the mirror to put toiletries or make up. A shelf will make things more organized and easier to reach instead of cramming everything on the sink space or underneath the sink.
