The hotel was fabulous, we had junior suite on the ground floor for our family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 14 & 12, it was a very large room and the sofa bed the kids slept on was large and comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning was excellent with lots of home made pastries and other options. The honesty bar was also really good and very reasonably priced for a hotel of this quality. The pool was great to cool off in the hot August Tuscan sun. Location was great and literally 20mins from beautiful Florence and under an hour to Siena. Finally, the evening meals on the terrace were simply out of this world, a new menu every day and traditional home made food with the most amazing view, it doesn't get any better. Will certainly hope to return one day and have recommended to friends and family.

Nothing - it was all fantastic

This accommodation is a beautiful home with luxurious, unique rooms. There are expansive grounds, well appointed rooms, welcoming common areas to sit. The rain shower is lovely and the coffee maker and tea kettle in the room was a bonus. Staff is very kind and helpful for any recommendations for local attractions (winery visits) or to assist with dinner reservations. Breakfast has something for everyone!

Beautiful location, very good ambience, easy access. The hotel is near the larger town of San Casciano and has a good starting point for trips around the area, especially the Chianti region and Florence. The style of the hotel is rustic and the rooms are furnished in the same way. The staff is friendly and available during the day for additional information. No problems with communication in English.

The breakfast is varied and made of quality ingredients, but it is somewhat repetitive.

The location was wonderful, the Villa was amazing. The staff was very knowledgeable about the area and recommended things and restaurants for us, which turned out to be perfect. The breakfast was great too. Also, loved the honor system and drinks offered at the honor bar.

A little more attention to cleanliness of the large gathering areas. The chandelier needs some attention.

The location, out in the Tuscany countryside is beautiful. A 600 year old villa, renovated to a high standard but maintaining the character and atmosphere of an "old fashioned" country villa. The staff were all excellent - friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food every eevning was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here and would happily have spent longer as guests.

Overall our stay at the Villa was amazing. It was in a perfect town outside of Florence which was perfect for us who don't love being in a busy city all the time. The view outside the property was beautiful and I definitely want to come back in the summer to utilize the pool!

The property was beautiful! We loved the gardens, the views and the olive trees. We also were very pleased with the staff. Monica was amazing and was genuinely interested in making sure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful views, very nice large swimming pool, historic property, very friendly and helpful staff who helped us organise a fabulous wine tour and have us lots of good restaurant recommendations.

Would have been good to have an iron and ironing board to use but otherwise everything was great

The location, the character/beauty of the property, and the on-site restaurant. As well as the attentiveness of the staff.

I really liked everything. The bed could’ve been a little bit softer and the pillows could have been a little better. But really it was an enjoyable stay.

An amazing building with a great view! Super friendly staff, great service and an amazing breakfast! We fully enjoyed our stay and the experience of staying in a property of this age/style/nature. We would definitely stay again! Grazie Mille 🙏
