breakfast a nice choice of options, front desk staff helpful, location is wonderful - walk to everything, nice quiet location with an area to sit outside in front of hotel

Having to track down the breakfast servers for espresso and attempting to order americano and not the coffee in the pot. Shower could be cleaned better and the walls are paper thin between rooms. Knowing how to contact front desk should be on the phone or in the room. We had to pop downstairs 2 flights late at night to contact front desk.

Nice decor, very clean, comfy bed and modern bathroom with shower (slippers and Prija shower gel but no cream). During my stay it was super calm but the doors are not very sound isolating, you can hear people walk and talk. The only not so great thing for me was breakfast (but I’m gluten and lactose intolerant, so life is difficult)-fruits, marmalades, crackers, cornflakes, ham and mortadela, boiled eggs, tomatoes. Some pastries were or gluten or lactose free, but not both, no scrambled eggs, no gluten free bread. For normal people the breakfast is goo I suppose.

Overall a very good experience and we really enjoyed our stay there. Some staff at breakfast were not so good at servicing the tables but much of this due to some language difficulties but always very friendly and helpful as best they could.

The breakfast could do with a wider range of prepared fresh fruit and cereals and given the wonderful bakeries in the area, the selection of fresh bread was very limited and some did not feel fresh. A number of items on the buffet sometimes run out including the milk and it was a little annoying to be chasing around to get these replenished. Felt the breakfast buffet and service fell short of the 5 star standards of the hotel elsewhere. There was no tea or coffee facilities in the room but guess this is the case with many European hotels?

The staff were so lovely at this hotel and we loved how grand it was. The location was fantastic and the amenities were amazing. The biggest strength of was the friendliness and helpful nature of the staff.

The rooms unfortunately were extremely loud and people would talk outside your door most of the night, there didn’t seem to be any sound cancelling aspects.

Servicing at both hotel and restaurant was extremely helpful and enjoyable. Quality of food and cuisine much above the average and completely satisfying. Common areas are nicely furbished according to an elegant and smart Italian style. The position Is also excellent being located near the sea and city center.

Only one day It happened that the room service did not clean up our room, thus not changing our towels as well. But Just called the reception and the issue has been promptly solved.

Very nice hotel. We liked our room that was spacious, with a very high ceiling. The facilities of the hotel were also good. The spa area is very nice made. We had a half-board and the dinner was perfect.

A bit overpriced (same as other hotels in summer at the sea side in Italy). The breakfast could have been more interesting for a 4 stars hotel. Indeed it was a 2-3 stars level breakfast. The hotel beach was a bit far away.

The hotel is really quintessentially Italian - it's a lovely building set in a great location! The continental breakfast was simple but tasty, lots of fruit and nice pastries. They have a relationship with a beach, which was 42Euro for two beds for the day - it was v. convenient! The staff were brilliant - thanks especially to Alessandro for sorting our room!

Our room on the floor had a serious damp/sewage smell. Thankfully, the staff were able to offer an alternative and we had a great room for our stay!

Reception Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful (and spoke very good English); excellent location - 5 minutes' walk to the waterfront; very good breakfasts.

The hotel hosted a conference while we were there and there was a lot of late night noise on the balcony next to our room.

Gorgeous building, amazing rooms- large and clean, beautiful spa. Amazing central location with very short walk to the town centre, also close to bus and train collection points so excellent connectivity. Staff were really helpful and informative and also very friendly and kind

Everything was perfect

The breakfast was really lovely and the balcony outside our room had an amazing view. The hotel shower gel also smelled really lovely and the breakfast in the morning was really tasty and there was a variety of options to choose from. The sauna and steam room in the Spa were really lovely.

Our bathroom door was quite stiff and would not shut properly. The pool in the spa was a bit cold.
