Colourful B&B overlooking a large, quiet square. The rooms are cool-ly decorated, comfortable and had a nice little balcony overlooking the square. There is a nice cafe/bar at the street level that adds a bit of life to an otherwise very quiet neighbourhood at night.

The welcome at the reception was a bit underwhelming. In the absence of an elevator, one needs to drag one's luggage 1 or 2.5 floors on quite steep stairs. It's a bit of a shame that the very nicely painted walls in the room had quite some holes. The noise from neighbouring rooms and from the apartment on top (presumably the owners') was a nuisance. And the location, though very nice and quiet, is quite a distance from the main attractions in Syracuse. Overall, reasonable value for money, but requires continuous maintenance and more attention to the noise level coming from the apartment on top.

The location by Piazza Santa Lucia is beautiful. A lot of old trees and you can see the sun rising above the houses on the other side of the square. Comfortable bed, fully equipped bathroom and clean everythere. Nicely decorated rooms and common areas. Caffe Agora in the same house served the included italian breakfast, coffee with one sweet/savory.

It is about 20 minutes walk to lively Ortigia but in the neighborhood there is practically nothing going on. Very few bars/restaurants. Breakfast can improve including more items and variation.

The location is close to all Syracuse highlights. It is in the refurbished building, typical for Sicilia region. The staff is friendly. There was no problem to find a place for parking. The price is very reasonable also.

It can be noisy, you hear your neighbours' activities clearly. There is no elevator also, be ready to carry your bags upstairs 0 we got a room at the second level, so we felt it. the breakfast is in the regular city cafe at et the entry. It is pastry with drink. We loved it, cause the pastry turned out to be pretty fresh, home-made just at the place and you can choose yours from different kinds.

Daniele was an friendly, smiley and helpful host, offered me free welcome coffee and early check-in at 1pm, room was clean and bed very comfy. Location is great, inbetween Ortigia and bus / train stations. Breakfast was provided at the bar downstairs, an excellent sweet pastry of your choice with coffee.

Ceiling was quite low in some areas (bathroom, staircase within the room), also shower water was rather cold (but I like cool showers, so couldn’t be bothered). Courtyard neighbors were quite noisy, which might be a problem if you are an early sleeper (not me).

Our Stay at B&B L'Infiorescenza was great. Me and my partner did not rent a car but travelled around Sicily via train, so I was worried how and if we would reach all attractions around Syracuse with public transport. Luckily, the BnB was located only a 15 minute walk from Ortigia. Other attractions, like the Neapolis Archeological Parc, could be reached easily on foot as well. Before coming to Sicily, I was quite worried about the language barrier, me and my partner don´t speak italian. Even though the staff only spoke limited english, they really did their best to communicate with us and make us feel welcomed, so the language barrier was really no problem at all. Every morning I looked forward to the wonderful breakfast: Fresh pastries and a wonderful cappuccino from the little Café under the BnB, free of charge. The room was very cosy and the BnB had a lovely atmosphere to it. Over all, I would highly recommend this place and would choose it all over again!

Since the BnB was located directly across Piazza Santa Lucia, it was quite noisy, even late at night. This did not bother us much though and does not take away from the wonderful stay we had at BnB L'Infiorescenza

The room was really large. I had stairs in my room dividing the bathroom from the sleeping area. The B&B has a café at the bottom if you are in the need of grabbing quick food. Room was really clean

The location was good but not much around for food. However, Ortigia is a 20 min walk from the accommodation and there is plenty to eat there.

friendly staff, nice little cafe downstairs for complimentary italian breakfast (pastry + coffee). nicely decorate albeit small economy room. plenty of free space to park along the street.

room is quite cramped and difficult to get around (is the large dresser really necessary?). shower was leaking a bit. quite a long walk to old Syracuse.

Clean, warm room, comfortable bed; fresh water bottle for each, towel and shampoo/shower gel for each; enough room in closet for clothes and other things; good choice of different pattiserie for breakfast and tasty cofee.

Sound isolation between rooms is not the best; in the bathroom it smelled like somebody had smoked in there before. But these things were minor inconveniences. I would recommend this place to anybody for a short stay.

The imaginative and interesting decor. Warm welcome from host. Good location on a Piazza and minutes from shorefront. Could walk to both Ortigia and the station.

Infrastructure a bit neglected, door handles etc didn't always work. Needed a kettle, mugs.

The host, I think his name is Daniel, is very hospitble and give us all the instruction on the check in. The room and the view is great. On the breakfast you can choose one pastry and one drink - also great.
