We had a lovely stay, although from outside the area seams a little off, the apartment is renovated, with beautiful inside garden-balcony area, the host gave us information about the area and what to visit. The breakfast was very good, with fresh pastries and a lot of variety and all personel was really pleasant. The room very clean and spacious, with all amenities that we could need, bathroom was a joy and our room had a private balcony. Water, coffe and sodas were provided as a compliment. The location was very close to the city center, 15-20 minutes walk to ortiglia. Parking was easy, available for free on the street in front of the b&b.

We liked the hotel a lot and stayed one extra day. The rooms are spacious and bed was large and comfy. We were travelling with our 2 year old daughter and the staff were very friendly and nice to her. Breakfast is good and the hotel is well situated in Siracuse, next to the entrance to Ortigia. We did not spend much time in the town itself but rather travelled to Modica, Scicli, Pozzalo, and areas around. One minor thing is the area around the hotel which is not great, but we did not have any issue with that.

The place is very nice and perfectly maintained, with very friendly and polite staff. There is a fridge and plenty of plugs to recharge your electronics. The bathroom is nice and spacious, with all you need, on top of being very clean. We appreciated the air conditioning. The small terrace was a plus. The breakfast was excellent in quality and quantity, and you can enjoy it on the property's patio. The entrance corridor, with its aquarium floor, adds a nice touch. It was easy to park our car on the street for free. Walking to Ortigia was a breeze. We received great insider advice for our visits. I want to express my appreciation for the honesty and support we received in getting our kid's night puppet sent to our home. When the cleaning lady discovered that our son's little penguin decided to extend his stay (I tried too, but I wasn't allowed), we were able to quickly come to an agreement and the penguin arrived home shortly after. Thank you again!! I hope to visit you and meet again.

I would suggest improving the door's sound insulation as we could hear other guests in the corridor in the morning, almost as if they were in our room.

Location was good. Just around a 15 minute walk into Ortiga. Beds were very comfortable and the room was of good size. Staff were very hospitable and friendly. Clean facility. Judging the place from the street view might be off-putting but rest assured that on the inside the facilities are quite nice and comfortable.

There was plenty to eat for breakfast - coffee type made to your request. However, no hot breakfast - the provision of scrambled eggs would have gone a long way for me in place of hard boiled. They might not have a kitchen equipped for that. Free day/overnight parking available about 100 yards down the street behind the row of buildings near the police station. Also, some available on the street in front of the B&B. But on weekends or local holidays that's a little more difficult, but we never had a problem parking our car for free.

Breakfast is heavy on sweets (cake, croissants) and white bread—let Lucia know when you check in if you prefer something else

The property had so much character. It was near the bus and train station. Our room was so nice and clean and with so much Italian character. It was an authentic Italian experience. Within walking distance to Ortigia and to get to the Greek Theater complex by taxi or bus quickly. The breakfast every morning was wonderful a typical Italian breakfast. They would ask what kind of coffee you wanted and made it then. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was a wonderful place to stay.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The B&B is in an excellent location. It is nicely designed and quiet and private inside, but in a great location near the town centre and short walk to Ortigia. We could park our rental car without difficulty nearby. There was plenty of food at Breakfast with very good service from the staff. The rooms and breakfast terrace were very clean.

The room was surprisingly big, the bathroom as well. Both new and super clean. We had a private terrace super nice, all for us. The style of the room was absolutely what we loved the most. I couldn’t say exactly what style it was but modern. The hosts were adorable. A man welcomed us and he had already printed out the map with all the touristic points to visit and how to move within Syracuse and Ortigia. The breakfast was lovely! A woman prepared the breakfast for us with salty and sweet food, coffee and orange juice! To be honest it couldn’t be more perfect.

There isn’t nothing not to like in this property. The only thing maybe is that the walk distance from Ortigia was a 15 min walk but once you get to the bridge the view is stunning and you forget how much you have walked. 10-15 min anyway are not that much considering the hotel you get.

The property has been refurbished and decorated to a high standard. The room with terrace was lovely and it was great to be able sit outside in the evening. The location is ideal for walking access to Ortigia with easy car parking outside the property and Salvo helped save a space for us. Communication with Salvo before arriving was also excellent. The breakfast offered was really good. We would definitely stay again.

Not a big problem but would have preferred either to have more of a self service buffet breakfast(including juice) or a small menu to choose from , rather than being given a set selection.

Breakfast was brilliant. A bowl of fresh mixed nuts plus freshly squeezed orange juice and a different kind of cake every morning, plus a buffet with plenty of choice of sweet and savoury items.

Location was fairly convenient, but room faced a fairly busy road and necessitated walking around a corner without a pavement to get into the most interesting part of town.
