I stayed at this hotel 6 times. Stayed alone, and with my husband, and with friends...everyone likes this hotel very much. We will definitely come again. Feeling here like home. Excellent everything. Staff first of all : friendly, professional, caring. Good facilities, great breakfast, good thermal pool and beautiful pictureous pool area, big parking, buses stop right near the hotel. All is perfect. Also is close to the historical center with many pictureous spots, churches, Villa Grotte di Catullo, fantastic views of the lake Garda, many high standart restaurants with good food. And gelateria at every step... What can be better for the relax and feeling happy?🙂 Highly reccomend Fonte Boiola to all. And big thanks to the staff for one more beautiful time at this beautiful hotel.

The only one minus : not all visitors wear caps in the pool. Previously, this was a mandatory rule. And it was aesthetically pleasing and hygienic

The staff were very helpful, they even made every attempt to contact us after we had left as we had left passports in the safe, which meant we were able to make our flight. The location was brilliant, about as close as you can get to the old city without having to drive through the very narrow streets. The garden around the pool had a great view of the lake as did our room, well worth paying extra for those rooms.

The pool was a bit hot for us, but then the weather was 33 degrees at the time a would of liked a cooler pool. It is clear that it is a thermal pool, but did not realise it would as hot as it was. However there was access to the lake if you needed a cool dip.

The pool and the view onto the lake were exceptional. The location is fantastic, less than 50 meters from the entrance into the old town. And, it has parking, which is almost imposible to find on the street because of the popularity of the town.

Excellent location right outside the old city wall. The spa was great! That’s also the first time that we have ever been in a Sulphate pool.

The breakfast buffet wasn’t the best. If they did have eggs, they were usually cold hard boiled eggs. Also the air conditioner in our room did not work every well. It really did not cool the room off very much.

The hotel is in a very nice location in front of the lake and at the entrance of the old town. Externally you can see a fantastic structure, red coloured, in front of the lake with a big space to relax externally, near the pool, The view is incredible even when you have breakfast. We tasted the "standard" dinner which was very good. The service is superior, personel is very kind. The pool was good as well. But the top is the Thermal experience in the Acquaria location, near the hotel. It is the best Thermal structure we ever have seen.

We payed 350 Euro for 2 nights and the room was so small (13sm) really small. The bath very old style, with the shower dated. No space to move and to relax in the room. The view was the car parking. Our room was 121. The bed was really small to sleep for 2 persons. The price of this room was really too high.

Gorgeous location and so close to the old town with so many Gelato shops! Lovely garden area for the sun loungers overlooking the lake, so peaceful! Food was fab, 4 courses and great variey!

Rather small shower, I'm still amazed my husband could even get in it!

I was perfectly happy with my stay here. The hotel is at an excellent location, right outside the restricted historic area of Sirmione. The sweet spot if you want to take walks there, but also avoid the hassle of public parking or problematic admittance through a narrow and always crowded causeway. As one of the more affordable options at Sirmione yet at such prime location my expectations were low. That was unwarranted. The hotel is clean and well-kept. Given the nature of the hotel, a thermal spa, the target audience is of more advanced age, the same can be said of the building and the rooms - they are old-school, but clean, familiar and functional. To be honest, initially I didn't care much for the spa, for I chose the hotel to serve as base while I explored the area on my sportbike and take nostalgic walks in Sirmione in the evenings. Yet I found myself in the thermal bath every day and it was heavenly. The garden area is simply breathtaking right at the Lago di Garda. The breakfast was ample and in line with Covid restrictions was served by a kind lady. A little more variety of warm foods would've been nice, but it's possible the I was too early, for I intended to start riding as close to dawn as possible. The room was adequate, not very spacious, but its understandable for I went for the cheapest room. It was still good enough for the solo traveller. The bathroom was spotless and I also appreciated the small balcony-like platform outside the window-railings to dry my wet clothes.

The only thing that would've made the stay better is an option to swim in the Lago from the hotel grounds. The lakeside, the pier, the steps are all there, yet it is forbidden to take a dip. They cite "security", for they have no lifeguards for the lake, but come on, one can swim in the lake from the public beach 500m away, but can't from the hotel? We are adults, let us swim at a lakeside hotel at our own risk!

Nice thermal outside pool, you can use it even when it's cold. Great that you can park outside.

Overall, it's a bit dated maybe, mostly elderly guests.
