Perfect location. The room was a good size and clean. The breakfasts were really good, especially the freshly cooked eggs and omelettes. Reception staff were very helpful. The pool was perfect to cool down in and there were the most amazing sunsets from the garden at the rear. Watching the mama ducks with their babies in the garden was an added bonus 😊.

The shower was the most ridiculous design and the water went all over the bathroom floor. Temp seemed to go from freezing to scalding in 2 seconds. The air con didn’t seem to work very well so we could never say the room was cool, which was quite disappointing as we stayed in early August.

The location of the hotel is excellent, a 15 minute walk to Sirmione Castle. Beaches, shops, restaurants and ice cream shops close by. The rooms are lovely with mini fridge, kettle and safe. Cleaned daily and bathrooms modern. Our room had a balcony with lake view, two recliners, two chairs and a small table. Plenty of plug sockets, 2 pin. The hotel pool was clean with loungers available. The hotel has a terrace where breakfast lunch dinner and drinks can be had, this is next to the lake. There are plenty if sunbeds and umbrellas here, a rocky approach into the lake but also a jetty with ladder at end to allow ease of access to swim in the lake lovely! Staff all friendly and helpful. Carpark and bike rack for guests. Air conditioning throughout hotel. Grounds kept clean. Inside or outside bar available. Reception very helpful, friendly and polite and always had a smile. Housekeepers again friendly. Pool towels - these could be changed daily at reception. Bathroom nicely redone - large shower cubicle, choice of shower heads, sink with lots of space for our toiletries, bidet and toilet, large mirrior and hairdryer. Towels replaced daily. Bathroom light on sensor - light stayed on whenever we used bathroom. Large wardrobe with plenty of hangers, drawers and shelves for clothes, and free to use safe.extra pillows and bedding in in too if needed. Large desk/console had kettle, cups and glasses. Coffee/tea/sugar replenished daily. Small fridge underneath, held 3 x 2L bottles of water and a small bottle of milk easily, (no milk provided but cheap to buy at local shops). Air-conditioning very good - so nice to come back into a cool room after a day out in the sun. Large bed, medium firm mattress we found comfortable and 2 pillows. Overall great hotel, great room, great bathroom, nice terrace with good lake view, good lake access in a great location, very clean hotel with friendly helpful employees.

Breakfast was OK, something for everyone but not a great selection. Fresh fruit each day which consisted mainly of watermelon, and once this platter was empty is was not replenished. There was an omelette station which was in use daily but only for a short period. Hotel looked a dated from outside but was fab inside. Our balcony had a large tree partly obscuring lake view but did have pigeons nesting in it so was good from our nature loving point of view.

The staff was the best. They were so friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and answer questions. The location was good, close enough to the walled city to walk, but still quiet and serene. The hotel had a pool as well as access to the lake (which is really cold says the Floridian). The restaurant was also fantastic - good value for money at dinner, and breakfast was plentiful and varied. Definitely get the lake view room if you can - bellisimo!

As an American, the idea that the key has to be engaged to run the air conditioning is a little off-putting at first. It took several hours for the room to cool off to a comfortable level the first day, but after that it was just fine.

After two years of false starts, finally got there! Paula was a lovely hostess and helped with everything. We did change rooms only because we wanted the full lakeside experience and weren't disappointed. Also got a very fair price on the upgrade, thanks Paula. Views and sunsets especially were incredible. Peace and quiet too and so close to Old Town Sirmione, one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Had been before, but first time to stay in Sirmione. Room was lovely, balcony was adequate but might book room with the larger terrace next time. Beds were slightly on the firm side but that's a personal comfort issue! Ladies who cleaned were just lovely and kept the complimentary toiletries topped up, fresh towels and beds made. A special mention of our new friend Mireille (May!) in the breakfast room. While relatively new to the hotel, I feel she will be a huge asset to the team. Friendly, hard-working, multi lingual (helped us with our Italian!), she really took care of us all week so well. All the staff were lovely, but May stood out! Breakfast was exceptional every day! Huge choice and always a nice experience. Tip 1: Hire a car to make most of seeing other lovely places around Lake Garda such as Pescheria Del Garda, Verona, Bardolino, Lazise etc.Tip 2: Must visit Terme di Sirmione (Aquaria), best day of luxury pampering ever!

Nothing to fault!

The staff made the holiday and couldn't do enough for us. All very friendly from the cleaner, bar staff, reception. Nothing was too much. Food in restuarant was very good and flexible for children meals. It was great to sit in the evening having a meal with an amazing sunset. Pool is ideal for children as only 1.4m deep so felt safe. Room was kept very clean with daily cleaning/changing towels Can't fault the service

Not major but as we stayed for 11 nights there was no laundry service available. As we didn't have a car it was easier to get the ferry to Desenzano and used a self-service laundry (which was very good)

Lovely place to say . The staff were all very helpful and polite , bed was comfy , bathroom was clean , outside bar was great too . Breakfast had a great choice and the omelets are freshly made in front of you . Great location to the island , only an 8 min walk .

The only thing I'd say is the place needs alttle modernisation and some maintenance , had a 70's 80's kind of feel , which was very nice too but could have been abit cheaper . I guess the location can command the value too .

Very good location, big parking lot, beautiful lakeside area, nice and rich breakfast, friendly people. Room ok, lake almost not visible, however we booked a room with "partial visibility" - but it's not an issue, you are anyways in a lovely location :-) Terrace is comfortable.

10-12 min walk to the old town, on map it seemed a bit shorter. At breakfast, waiters were a bit slow, we othen has to hunt for plates, forks, knives :-D but this is small things. Bathroom was a bit tight, but we are both tall people.

The location is great. The garden and the views are also amazing. Bathroom was very clean and well designed. Lastly, the included breakfast was definitely worth it.

Decided to have a dinner in the hotel and waiter told us there was literally only one wine option, which was very dry. Didn't offer any alternatives, which we found quite odd. But that might have been due to off season (early October). Also, no kettle in the standard room, which was a little surprising.

Location was excellent, room very good. Hotel common facilities, covered balcony to enjoy the view of Lake Garda, the gardens outside were just beautiful, so quiet & relaxing after a day's sightseeing. Breakfast had many options to choose from. Staff at the hotel were very friendly & happy to help with a small situation I had, and alleviated the problem without any hesitation.
