- hosts were lovely, even provided us with a map and recommendations for activities and things to do in the area - happily stored our luggage before and after check in - happily facilitated an early check in (which we were very grateful after arriving on a night train!) - about 20/25 mins to the main square by foot (same by public transport if you prefer). Given the value for money that this property offered in comparison to other options when we were looking, we were happy to walk a bit further to places - room up two flights of stairs - hosts happily assisted with bringing the luggage up and down for us! Thank you! - WiFi worked fine - bed was comfortable - shower was nice and warm! - quiet area, no noise - mini fridge in the room, as well as kettle and coffee maker

- bathroom is quite narrow, had to walk sideways to get into the shower but we didn’t mind too much. - we had some issues with the air conditioning. The first night it appeared we had the wrong remote (which they quickly fixed the next morning), and the second night we couldn’t really get it to warm the place up too much. I also think it may not have been cleaned in a while, as it spat out a lot of black dust onto the floor.

Clean and tidy with lovely canal views. Only a few minutes walk to restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Was nice and cool inside which was a lovely escape from the heat outside. The staff were very responsive and helped me explore options for both getting to and leaving.

The canal behind the house is busy so can be a bit noisy at night. Arriving in the dark with heavy bags was challenging - both in navigating all the Venice bridges/uneven paths and in locating the house. The front door was a bit tricky to open and second door didn't seem to close. Broom provided but no shovel to pick up sweepings.

Very central location, close to shops, cafes, restaurants and ferry boat station. Comfortable bed and pillows,we got complimentary early check in( subject to availability). Good coffee machine with complimentary espresso capsules. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating with a smile on their faces. Lovely property for a short stay in Venice.

The bathroom is in need of some maintenance, a lot of holes on the walls, some mould as well. The a/c unit is in need of a good clean too, we turned it on and it was so dusty inside you could see it. The noise was a bit of an issue for me, the walls are thin like paper. You could hear everything, from people snoring next door, to their alarm clock in the morning.

Everything the staff were so friendly helpful nothing to much trouble advised us on places to visit restaurants to go to etc . The room was lovely nice and clean and being from Wales it's the first time I have been to Venice or Italy and loved the fact the blinds were on the outside of the window etc. The breakfast was lovely all I will say I like a glass of cold milk for breakfast when I ordered milk it was warm so I asked for cold milk and this issue was sorted . My wife and I stayed in Venice for 4 nights and loved every min we went exploring and for some nice places to eat that seems more Italian not touristy . Can't wait to go back will be staying again.

Nothing

The guest house is in a central position minutes walk from all attractions. Lovely room, comfortable bed, a good sized bathroom; well equipped with fridge also. The host was extremely helpful upon our arrival - he provided lots of information on things to see and do and outlined on a map which was extremely useful throughout our stay. A list of recommended places to eat and drink was also provided which we found useful. 20 minutes from the airport via airport bus link - 10 Euros each way; very easy - 15 minutes walk from bus station to accommodation. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing.

The first thing we noticed was how clean the apartment was. The bed was very comfortable and the room was big, with a cute balcony. We had tea and coffee machine in the room, together with a small fridge. The bathroom was also tidy and modern. Everything about our stay was exceptional. The location of the property is good, a walk to Rialto bridge is 15 minutes long, Venice is small and you can walk everywhere easily by foot. Also one of the most beautiful supermarkets we’ve seen was 2 minutes away, which was also a plus.

The only thing I would mention is that our room was on the last floor and there are a lot of stairs, but the staff helped us with our luggages so that was no problem. :)

We especially appreciated great advices, a useful city map and a list of places to try for food from the receptionist - many thanks! The location was great, the accommodation was very clean and we really made good use out of a mini fridge in the room.

This wasn't a big problem for us but maybe a bit of a heads up for future clients - if you're a light sleeper do consider bringing earplugs as the sound isolation isn't the best in the building, but it's okay if you fall asleep quickly.

The location is very good, the gentleman who welcomed us on the first day was lovely. The staff were able to accomodate us with an earlier breakfast time one day as we had a tour booked. It was very clean accomodation.

Unfortunately our room was opposite reception - it was quite loud during the day and even quite loud at night as people arrived in late or returned up the stairs to their rooms. The breakfast was fine but not really worth the additional cost, it is not like a buffet, more like an order form. You can get pastries and coffee far cheaper outside of the hotel, we probably wouldn’t recommend paying the additional for breakfast.

Good location near the big street when it is light even at night. Between the Rialto and the train station which I think is really good. Clean and looks pretty modern as for Venezia (if your don’t like classic style with red walls). Self check in and check out means 24/7 Good WiFi (we could watch online movies).

Too small space for wc and shower. Be ready to meet mosquitoes if you like to sleep with open windows. Mind there is no lift and narrow stairs

i like the location and the room! it is small basic but is sufficiently comfortable for a 2 nights stay. Room was clean, staff was really friendly and helped carry our luggages up the stairs. He even went through the attractions and how to travel around Venice really comprehensively! Had a really comfortable and clean stay here

Take note there are no lifts so you need to carry your luggages up and down the stairs. There is a staff to help if he is around
